Thank you so much to all who watched this live walk-through of the Detroit Auto Show. I sadly missed the Cadillac display. Cadillac has a very large, beautiful, impressive display here at the show with prototypes, a hypercar and a concept car. I also was not able to make it to the supercar zone. Please know that both of these areas are at the auto show!!
What happened to the Detroit Auto show? it used to look much more appealing than this. I worked there back in the mid 2010's at the BMW, Porsche, and Mini Cooper booths.
All the auto shows have gone downhill regardless what city they are in. The NY Auto Show is pathetic too. They spread the vehicles out to make it appear that there is more to the show than there actually is.
@@gmpny3945 I just remember as a kid, it was car on top of car. One in every model and a handful of the top trims and maybe 1 lower. the displays were always over the top! All the worlds manufacture in one building. Those were the days. I could see the car i could afford and the car of my dreams in one building. Younger generation won't be able to live those moments like I did. Sad especially when i look forward to those movements with my son
@nickwilson2435 You are so right. I started going to the NY Auto show in the early 1970s at the Coliseum and it was packed with every model car available at the time. There were so many giveaways and brochures that it was an effort to carry them back home.
Really appreciate your presentation and walk thru. I remember the high energy, pre covid NAIAS. Before the manufacturers began pulling out and downsizing of NAIAS, the celebrities and dignitaries, the celebration of the automobile and mobility. As a car guy, I hope this show is not representative of the industry as it sorts out it's future. Thanks again
Why do so many makes TODAY have problems color-matching front & rear assemblies with the rest of the vehicle? @ 5:45, for instance, can the different hues between that hood and the front facia be any more obvious? And it's NOT just GM; many makes are having trouble!
About 10 years ago I drove from Winchester VA to visit the Detroit Show... I attended the show a few times making a long weekend out of it. I also went to the Henry Ford Museum and did the Ford factory tour. I visited the GM HQ, s so the displays and visited the Volt Bar. I haven't been a few years as I 'm busy in the summer when the Auto show was held. I wanted to go this year again but I couldn't (but will go the DC auto show) . I have attended Auto shows all my life with the first one in the 80's in Baltimore. I meet John Davis (Motor Week) at the Balt Show one year. I usually stay at a Hotel near the Airport but drive 8 hrs (it doesn't bother me if I have the time off). Does anyone attend the show from a long distance besides me ?
Hi Allen! Yes, I just filmed a new video with those vehicles. As soon as I have time to edit, I will post it! Please subscribe so you are notified of my new videos! Thank you 😊
Great to see kitt and all the other old school cars. Funny those are before your time and you dont know them. Kitt is an acronym look it up from knight rider They just need the fall guy truck and the a team van.
Excellent and terrific narration and viewpoints on the autoshow. Really appreciate and enjoy your channel. Don't mind the modern technology, however all electric isn't going to make it in the marketplace. First of all, there's limited access to charging Secondly, there is the problem of limited distance. Lastly, with all the power outages due to storms one needs to escape. Also, electric bills will go up so what's going to happen to those who can't afford their bill now. Then add to the list are the fire problems. The concept of electric for air quality is good but hybrid is the way to go which gas kicks in charging the battery. This country might as well go back to horse and buggy. Imagine apartment complexes. hotels and visitor centres filled with charges. It would be like a western having horses tied up only car/truck to chargers. No reason that all electric vehicles were decided on until obstacles were thought out. Thanks again and look forward viewing your channel
Noooo I love Dodge- that was not my intention to ignore the Hornet. I just had so much to show in a short amount of time and I unfortunately couldn’t show everything thoroughly.
So sad what the Detroit Auto show has become. I remember as a kid i couldn't wait to go with my dad! It's so desolate and bare. No manufactures other than the big 3 . Think i would get more thrills to walk a used car lot . Its just not the same ..
This is no reflection on you but this show stinks anymore. It is all SUVs and Trucks. Not much in the way of concept vehicles. The floor space was so empty. Truly sad.
She Ogles over the red interior. Why? Because American cars are so bland compared to European Cars (albeit quality issue abound). I live in the hot humid Southern US where everyone from the North is arriving. That last thing I want is this……New to 2025 the Bronco 2 door editions are paired down, ALL with 4 variations of a BLACK ONLY interior. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID. Go bankrupt Detroit you’re not getting my tax dollars the second time around. No thanks, I’m now waiting for the 2027 VW (Scout) that’s been teased with a tan interior

I remember the days as a kid when Porsche and Ferrari came to the Detroit Auto Show. Times have changed. Great recap and thank you!
I remember that too 😔
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Yeah it been boring. At least INEOS and Rivian show up this year.
A car show with no people is the best
I agree! I always try to walk through when it’s empty!
Take me back to the 90s when it was exciting ♥️♥️♥️

Hi Maggie!
Thank you for such a great tour enjoyed that so much.
I am so glad you enjoyed it! 😊
I loved the tour especially with not having a boat load of People climbing in and out of the Vehicles! Nice Job
Thank you so much! I love doing auto show tours when there is no one around! 🚘😊
Wonderful job!!! As a former Detroiter but a native, I MISS going to the auto show. There. Great job.

I just found you, you’re delightful and informative. And of course beautiful 😂
Enjoyed your coverage from Detroit 👍. Ford has the nicest display by far.
Thank you so much! 😊🚘
Buick’s cars look pretty nice! Been making them pretty cool for a few years now!
Definitely dig that red Corvette that thing looks sharp with the black wheels!
It's a crying shame since the last time I went last back in 2005 when it was fun all the fancy lights , brochures ,brochure bags
Hey motor city that’s Detroit. Your name goes with where you’re at! And you get the place all to yourself!😁

I have been attending this show all my life so I understand what you are talking about. I’m glad to see the show back in January.
Ram Ramcharger. Was there a production model of the Ramcharger on the floor, or only the chassis configuration?
Thanks for the walk through.
You're welcome! 😊🚘
Thank you for the tour!
You’re so welcome!
@ 2:07 whats the color called on that silverado? I like it, looks greenish but that might be the inside lighting making it appear that way.
Great video! Thank you for being so intelligent and beautiful
Aw thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I enjoyed ur video!!! I'm glad u don't ramble on and on

Maggie.. what happened to Subaru?? Was waiting for that. Jim
Hi Jim! Thanks for watching. Unfortunately Subaru does not have a display at the Detroit Auto Show this year.
@MotorCityMaggie ohh that's sad. Thanks Maggie

CHEVROLET NEEDS BRING BACK SEDANS.....😮😮😮TOO MANY TRUCKS MORE SEDANS...
You seemed to avoid the Dodge Hornet like the plague.

Nice video, but no Cadillac?
How about a gmc yukon denali

Shouldve added the downstairs area
I was already streaming for an hour and couldn’t make it down there. Sorry!

She seems to have not noticed there was two different types of wagoneers ev and none
15:28 gm classic car seems to be the only true good car of ALL the new vehicles 😂
With Those High Prices It Will Be A Cold Day In Hell, Before I Purchase Any New Vehicles!!
By I would go with the old school cars 🚗 🚙 any time instead of the junkdais or kill in action junk 😂
Not much there, I hope the manufacturers come back.
Prices are a joke, when will they learn ?
The 2500HD zr2 truck
That other Cadillac was a optiq not a lyric
Show the Elantra N
Same cars that are at dealer lots. Waste! The auto show get worse every year.
That’s exactly why. Im not buying tix n advance of the NYAS. Last years show was so disappointing …
Avoiding Ford ?
I spent a long time in Ford! I loved their display.
MAGGIE BEAUTIFUL BLONDE WOMAN ATTRACTIVE LIKE MY GIRLFRIEND BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️😮😮😮❤❤❤😮😮😮
lol you called a Daytona a hellcat. SMH it’s a super bee
This is no reflection on you but this show stinks anymore. It is all SUVs and Trucks. Not much in the way of concept vehicles. The floor space was so empty. Truly sad.
Chevy Malibu
It is no longer being manufactured sadly.

Unfortunately buying a new car is for rich people , the working class can’t afford anything
You need a better job
Over priced crap that sits on dealers lots for 600 days lol
