    What do you Jack up the engine from? Oil Pan?

      Yes, but YOU MUST put something very wide and broad that's also soft between the jack's lifting pad and the oil pan to prevent it from being punctured or crushed. A big block of wood does the job. Spreading the force across the whole oil pan is very important. If you crush the oil pan by using just the small jack pad alone without a block of wood, it'll cover up the oil pump's intake and the engine will fail catastrophically from no oil pressure. If you split or puncture the oil pan, it'll leak (obviously).

      Look for cracks, or even you can put your car in reverse and drive and go back in forth in gears with your foot on the brake at all times, if your engine goes up and down a good amount you mostlikely have bad mounts
