Thank you so much for sharing! This past semester was our first time embracing the SCM curriculum for a majority of our group subjects after following your videos for a long period of time. I wanted to give you an update. The kids and I LOVE IT!!! The whole methodology and materials have been such a blessing. Thank you for sharing. It made a difference for our family. :) PS- We are in the process of doing Cassatt. It has been enjoyable, and I have learned a lot as well. My three-year-old now recognizes Monet and Cassatt paintings when out and about. 🤣
We also love SCM and did the bird study before and loved it! I would recommend getting the Merlin bird ap to use along side it. It’s totally free, and it helps you identify birds you see. So you can input some details about a bird you spotted and it will give you the most likely birds based on your are and the time of year. It also has a feature where you can have it listen to the birds around you and it will pop up with which bird is singing!
Such beautiful curriculum!! I get overwhelmed on their site because I literally want it all. That first book you showed reminds me of a movie (that was a play) called War Horse. Very similar type of story and set during WWI. If your kids like that book, I'll bet they'll love to read War Horse and then watch it....and it is very clean. Spielberg directed it, all War scenes are surprisingly not bloody or gratuitous. ❤💃🐴 p.s. it will most likely make you cry.

Love your videos! The Life in the Word looks awesome...did you briefly mention you'll be doing CBS? I miss CBS so much and have been on the fence as to whether or not I join again as it's 35 min from my house...still trying to make the right decision...
Being a CM homeschool mom has felt lonely at times because so few understand what we’re doing. We’ve almost exclusively used SCM resources for my only child over the last 4 years and I always excitedly tell folks what a rich education I’M finally getting 😆 Your videos have helped me so much to see how beautiful life is living in FL (I’m a native gulf coast neighbor 👍) and “spreading the feast”. I really hope to come to a future SCM retreat 🙏 I do wish it was easier to find more SCM families nearby. I’d love to find a CM enthusiast co-op. Thank you for continuing to inspire me! 🥰

My son did it last year he just turned 11 and I felt it was a little young for him . He loves Math I personally would say 8-9
