@@WaywardSinny Yeah, they had a sort of 2.0 where they changed the whole game client, interface, mostly everything about the game other than the cards themselves.
Ahhh, honestly it's been 6 months since we recorded and edited this video and I haven't played much of the game since then. So my memory on campaign effects is foggy.
@@WaywardSinny isn’t collecting the cards and swapping them to get the ones you want part of the appeal? And if so how does that translate into the virtual? If you own cards in the real world can you scan them to use in the game? If you obtain cards in the virtual can you print them to use in the real world? Or are they two seperate things completely?
So in this particular game you can essentially scan your real world cards onto the digital realm, but it doesn't go the other way. I think one of the things people like about collecting digital cards isn't so much the trading but the thrill of opening new cards and completing sets.
Used to play a lot of the original SolForge version, I got 600+ hours on Steam...being able to play more games at once was the best feature ever :o
Reckon they've cooked it with some of the updates?

@@Brekner Ahh that sucks 😞
Tap 5 for "praise of review". When praise of review enters the battlefield any reviewer who made the review may put +3 praise tokens on their heart.
It resolves 🫶
What does "Wandering Ally" do?
Had a little look and can't see a Wandering Ally card in the deck lists, so not sure what you mean?
@@WaywardSinny It's a "Campaign effect".

disappointed at the lack of balancing con(verse) pun 😢
An extremely legitimate point! More puns required for future videos 🤣
Virtual collectable card games baffle me.
In what way?
