Can be corrected with stuffing the toe box, a wet towel and an iron... or using plastic shoe trees during the whole process especially during the wash and dry steps.

I've seen like 4 people say he needs shoe trees like... Y'all. Relax. Do you see the shape of the shoe at the end compared to the unrestored one? He used a shoe tree. I'm pretty sure _always_ uses shoe trees, you can see them in most videos.

Lohnt sich sowas auch bei allen Schuhen? Ich meine auch wenn sie kein Haufen Geld gekostet haben und auch noch nicht gerade aus hochwertigen Materialien sind?

Я тоже люблю покупать обувь на секонде и восстанавливать ее. Правда я для себя, не на продажу. Притом половина обуви даже не ношу, очень уж много ее. И всё равно жду окончания карантина, что б найти очередную пару для восстановления. Уже всей семье перекрасила и подлатала.
А где вы ее храните?
@@byakabuka9074 У меня комната шкаф есть. На полках. Но уже впритык. Часть, которую покупала раньше и восстановила, которая мне менее нравится, наверное буду пробовать продавать через интернет (я ее недорого но покупала, думаю если немного наценить за работу всё равно заберут) Эта лежит в кладовке. У меня частный дом. Места хватает.
@@ЛилияИнкогнито Боюсь, что в этом я как раз профан. Не умею снимать. Нет нормальной камеры. Хотя бы штатив, что б закрепить телефон. Да и монтаж нужен, не умею. Но мысли в этом направлении есть. Так как восстанавливаю не только обувь, но и одежду, мебель (шкафы, диваны перешиваю, стулья, стены в доме), размножаю растения (туи, самшит, розы, декоративные растения для дизайна сада) И вообще за экологию, разделяю мусор, свой компост и тому подобное. Сама минитепличку вчера сделала - помидоры посадила. Думала попробовать снимать. Может кому-то интересно будет, не знаю. Правда живу в городе, в доме. Земли очень мало, около сотки. Не разгонишся с посадками и экспериментами.

@@Jess90150 no directamente. Se puede poner una toalla mojada encima de la zapatilla e ir dandole con el vapor de la plancha y quitar las arrugas.

I think it evens out the paint so its not splashes of color on the least used paint

People really trash their shoes, man. Jeez. I've had several of the same pairs of boots, sneakers, etc. for years now, some for more than a decade, and they still look near perfect. Want to know how? Because I don't wear the same pair every day, day in, day out. I switch it up, wear different shoes here and there. And the biggest thing? I clean and apply shoe protector to my shoes, and moisturize my leather boots as needed. If you wear the same sneakers or tennis shoes every day, and never clean them, of course they're gonna get trashed.

I got a pair of $280 Birkenstock Footprints boots for $35 second-hand at the Goodwill, still in perfect condition, a pair of $200 handcrafted Johnston and Murphy Italian dress shoes for free from a relative, a pair of Converse All-Star high-tops for $45, a pair of Levi kicks for $20, and several other sneakers and tennis shoes. I purchased these over the course of several years. It's not like nice, even ridiculously expensive shoes HAVE to be expensive, if you know where to look and how to get a good deal.
