Thank you for the wonderful comments! I really appreciate the support and will try to respond to each one of you individually as soon as possible. Let me know if you've tried this strategy and how it goes!
Hi, just found your videos. I love them considering signing up for your program. I have seven herniated discs to in the neck and the rest in the lower back plus degenerative disc, moderate to severe as well as spinal stenosis, lower back my hips, however, do not rotate forword as you described. Instead, they rotate in. My butt moves forward not backward, wondering what your thoughts are on this since it doesn’t fit the profile you described. Thank you so much.
I have already lost a lot of the curve in my lordosis spine area. If I walk with my pelvis forward that is flattening out my back even more! Is that good? It seems to me I need to try to put the curved back in my low back!?
Am did followed some of the exercises, it's wonderful and effectively. For doctor info, since found that am was Lumbar Spinal injuries I took Neurobion for the numbness and Pergabalin Rewisca 50mg for nerve pains. Any side effect when taking long terms of both tablets.
I am living in the United States, my name is Ling. I found this video accidentally and it saved me😂 Seven years ago, I injured my left hip bone due to rope skipping and developed sciatica. Even walking is difficult, and MRI also shows L4 , L5 spinal stenosis..., I am already disappointed with life. 😰 I was originally a piano teacher, but because my right foot has to step on the pedal, I don’t even dare to play the piano! I started walking the way you did this week, and it was much easier. You made me look a lot younger! In my mind you are qualified to be a Nobel Prize winner, thank you again👍👏🌈
This is pretty wild - I suffer from stenosis, and recently I have experimented with tightening my abdominal muscles while walking. It is less painful, and my walk is more balanced. If I don’t tighten my abdominal muscles, I tend to lurch over to the left. This video is a confirmation to my little experiment, and I am so glad to watch this. I would suggest either eliminating the background music, or turning it way down, I find it extremely irritating, which is too bad, because the doctor is a really nice guy and has a lot of valuable things to say.
I've been doing the same thing, tightening my abs, and it makes a real difference. It has encouraged me lose some weight and work on exercising to strengthen my core muscles.
I changed my walking after watching this video and the difference is night and day!! After all the doctors, chiropractors and massage therapists I’ve gone to; no one has ever taught me this simple technique! I cannot thank you enough! It’s been life changing! Can you make a video on how to carry things like a laundry basket where you need to lean something into pelvis or do basic normal things like bending over to clean a toilet? That would be amazing!
Thank you for sharing @quantumgirl and I hope this inspires others to try it as well! Absolutely, I will do a video on doing activities that require bending down, as well as one on carrying big or heavy objects very soon!
I just knew somehow if I kept searching finally help would come, if only an explanation for why I’ve been in pain for over 20 years. I started walking over a month ago and could only do for about 5 min, so I would sit, then go again. I started doing my hips like that just because I could go further, but then here comes my knees, so I stopped thinking I’ll just be in pain until I die, but then I find you. Thank you. You’ve helped with this more than you will ever know by explaining and giving hope, that once I get my knees back on track to just continue and that I was on the right track just walking. Thank you, thank you.🙏❤️
When I had spondylolithesis over 10 years ago, I owe my healing to pool therapy!! I can’t stress enough how this helped over physical therapy! Sadly, pools are not available in most places! My cause was a damaged vertebrate. However, I owe my healing to the pool therapy! I have had little to no spinal pain. I do use a strong spinal wrap on occasion, as it’s important to protect the area. I keep you all who suffer in my thoughts! And pray that you find the help you need.
Thank you so much for this, many of us seniors are unable to pay for physiotherapy and depend on professionals like you for simple but wise advice on how to help our bodies. Gratitude and respect.
You are the best! Why aren't Dr's helping us understand our bodies the way you do? I'm so happy you're here. My body is out of alignment and I love walking as it soothes the aches. I instinctively started tucking my tailbone in while walking but didn't understand why until I saw your video! Thank you!!! Pleeeease keep this great content coming. I am a big fan!
Hi Jack, Thank you so much for being here. Your feedback means so much to me! I love to read about your improvements in the program. I hope you are feeling better than ever!
I have lateral spinal stenosis with the nerve pinched at L5, diagnosed with a MRI. I have been suffering with this for 3 years. I have had many physio sessions, done numerous physio exercises I learned of on TH-cam, have been for 3 treatments at a pain clinic including epidurals. Nothing has worked until I watched your video. I have started using your technique of pubic bone forward and have practicing this for about 2 weeks. What a difference it has made! I wish I had learned this a few years ago. Thank you so much!!
Hi Larry, thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're truly grateful to hear that our video has made a difference for you and that you've found relief through our techniques. It's so happy to know that our content has had a positive impact on your journey with lateral spinal stenosis. Your comment means a lot to us, and we're honored to have been able to help!
Great presentation and gives me hope I can live without pain. Please eliminate the background noise (music) though. It's very distracting - I'm ADD and have trouble concentrating on your talking.
Love your podcast, I had surgery 2 years ago, I walk a treadmill in my house. When I walk out side I use ski poles/walking sticks, no hip pain and it helps build care. Have rods and screws lumbar, trying to avoid any other surgery. Have spinal stenosis, I will be 70 next year.
Thank you Dr Ryan! I recently had Lumbar Laminectomy surgery, so now I'm trying to learn how to walk/run correctly again. Ten years ago I exchanged running for cycling, but I would like to run again. This video gives me hope!
Thank you so much for sharing! We're so happy to that this video gives you hope. Wishing you a smooth journey as you work towards walking and running again! 💙
Another one in your series of most amazing clips - plus the 500-mile walk across Europe was simply sensational!!! Such a great mix of technical data, rare to find animations of anterior tilt and the reversal correction🌺 Dr Ryan, you're simply the best! Thank you😌✨️😊
Ryan, I am so thankful for finding your program on a Facebook ad. One of my goals is to get back walking and this was very encouraging to me as I am in my 5th-6th week with the courses. I’ve had consistent back issues for 3.5 years and I look forward to my daily emails with the 5 minute video for each exercise and truly believe I am heading in the right direction. My issue sometimes is getting my breathing to properly go along with each exercise. I’m working on that too. Keep up the work you are doing. It’s helping me.
My first intro to your instruction, and I was able to receive noticeable relief of pain while walking and tightening my abdominal muscles this evening. Even a sense of improved balance. Thank you so much.
In the weekly live broadcast today he mentioned to walk with pubic bone forward to help stop sciatica which I have with si joint pain and it helped both.
I have both of these plus 1 more, Stenosis, Spondy & Scoliosis and age 70 is a few months away, pain almost everyday, yet still running my auto shop everyday for the past 42 years but soon to retire from the everyday pain. Going to start your program now, hopefully it helps by rotating the hip + walking so I can continue to Bowl competitively & play dart tournaments. THANKS! Joe
Excellent Explanation.. would appreciate a detailed video on Cervical Issues like disc degeneration, bulge, stenosis, spondolytis and best options for exercises, treatment
Very informative and effectively explained. The background music was very distracting and competes with your very important presentation. You are enough.
I was in a car accident, in 2002, which caused my stenosis. Sitting was the worse thing I could do. I had chronic lower back pain, for 20 years. Then I walked 50 miles per month, for 3 months. My back pain went away, which was miraculous for me. The problem I have now tho, is addiction to gabapentin, which I shouldn't need so much now. But this isn't as bad as 20 years of back pain. I also would like to start doing yoga exercises again, that I quit doing. They are designed, to create flexibility in the spine.
Thank you so much Dr. Ryan for sharing this information as it gives so much encouragement and support. I do a 1.5 to 2 miles walk 4/5 times a week. I will admit it is challenging as I find myself being pushed forward by the severe stenosis. I try to keep connected to my anchors and keeping the pubic bone forward will help to achieve that. I am definitely going to work on this and hopefully it will make walking more pleasant. I love the back anchor challenge and progression as it helps me so much. Keep up the great work.
Hi Mary, Thank you so much for being here! Walking is excellent for your body and even though it is challenging, it is the best movement for your body with core connection being your focus. Thank you for your feedback on the program, I am so glad you are here!
The pelvis should pivot back and forth while walking, but the video walker does not move it at all. I see a lot of people walk this way - only moving the legs. Rocking the pelvis shifts the weight from one foot to the other while pushing the body forward. The pubic bone pushes forward when the leg swings forward and swings back when the weight transfers to that foot. This gentle swinging restores and maintains flexibility in the spine. Try walking both ways and feel the difference.
Starting this today! Just found your channel. I don’t know why it popped up but, subscribed and going to do my best to follow your advice. I have compound problems! I have auto immune psoriatic arthritis, scoliosis, spinal stenosis, which started in my lower back and doctor said now is in my neck. I’m allergic to all the “pain killers “. So I’m constantly in pain! When I attempt to tighten my abdominal muscles they do shake after a minute but I am going to keep trying 😅after all Rome wasn’t built in a day. I’m a female 71 year old and I don’t want to end my days in a wheelchair! Walker is bad enough but only way I can get around. What you’re saying makes good horse-sense to me !! So thank you
Thank you for sharing your situation and for being a part of our community! We're glad you found our channel. If you're looking for another approach to addressing any concerns related to arthritis, scoliosis, stenosis or lower back pain, please let us know. We offer a free trial of the first week of our program, and many students have reported significant relief within that time frame. We'd be more than happy to help you on your journey to pain relief and recovery!
THANK YOU I have only now found your video today and all your teachings make so much sense I have been struggling to walk for over 2yrs now and waiting for back surgery but I will most definitely be trying to do the exercises you recommended and following your videos.
This is my first time enjoying your TH-cam channel. Great content! Looking forward to hearing more from you! Your video was so informative. Thank you so much!
I’m so Thankful I found your TH-cam,, I have binge watch so many of your videos,, I totally relate to your back stories, Thank you for your advice, it’s helping me so much
Thankyoy for a very informative video. I had spinal decompression surgery on L4_5 and L3-4 four months ago and am learning to enjoy walking again. I had noticed after about half a mile it gets easier, now I understand why. I am excited to try this today.
This works! I have been in pain for 8 yrs and today I found your video and tried this most of the day. What a difference, I can walk and can tell this will keep working, just need to build those muscles!
Hi Thanks for the video . Could you clarify .. HOW YOU BRING IT FORWARD IN ACTUALITY… You mean the stomach muscles need to be tightened forward?… as a natural process while walking ? Appreciate your clarification Thanks Dharam
I am very glad I come across your videos. I have degenerative disk , stenosis, and anterolisthesis with mild scoliosis. Ironically my job requires me to be on my feet 7 out of 8 hours. I have tried your recommendations on how to sit and have noticed an improvement in the tension in my back. I signed up for your program. Do you have any recommendations for a back brace or should that be avoided? Some days I can barely walk when I leave work.
Thank You for this. You give me hope. I am 55 and used to be very athletic. I had years of my sacrum being locked forward before finding the issue maybe since childhood. With all the nerve paint associated with this I have put on excessive weight and have spondy and stenosis. I have given up most of the things I enjoy. I like what you said about that is the whole point of this. I am hoping this can inspire me. When my back is not lined up properly a walk shoots pain down my legs and causes inflammation for several weeks. If I can get to a feeling of looseness a walk does seem to really help. Would love to get some more thoughts about my particular situation.
I have severe foraminal stenosis at L5-s1. I can walk about 50 steps and then I have to get on the ground and unpinch the nerve. You are the first person who's suggested a technique to avoid the pain. I will try it
I think the content of what you’re saying is probably great - I’m super distracted by the Muzak playing through it all though! Just a note, thank you for making this.
I have an upright walker and extending my arms far forward I can engage the core very well. Great for lunges too. I have severe cervical, spondylethesis, lower lumbar stenosis, sciatica, neuropathy.
Thank you, I have sport hernia and lower back pain, I was running pain free until I started doing some stretching a few months ago then my pain started, i stopped the stretching, now trying to reverse the damages I did , your videos are very informative and helpful, thank you keep them coming . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Hi HS, thank you for sharing your situation with us. We're sorry to hear about your struggles with sport hernia and lower back pain. We're so happy to know that our videos are providing helpful information for your journey. Wishing you a smooth recovery, and we'll certainly keep the videos coming! 😊
I've been watching your videos for a while now and find them very useful. Have you addressed yoga practices (pros and cons) in other videos? I'm 70 with DDD, mild stenosis, and sciatica. I've been fit my entire life thru martial arts and weights. Now I can only do "old man yoga" so I walk and ride my bike a lot. I've been doing yoga for 10 years and had a strong arm-balance practice before my diagnosis. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for the info it helps a lot I have been suffering fr lumbar stenosis for 2 yrs now PT helps a lot but insurance pays only so much sessions thank you for fb posting this info
Thanks for your video. Although I don’t fully understand it, walking seems better. Health is priceless. Next week we will go to iPhone to do finance and thank you.
Hi Dr., I just had an mri..last one was 2015 and was sent to a surgeon who did fusion l4/5 with two cages and screws. Now 2023 have severe stenosis, facet joint arthopathy, two bulging discs, severe arthritis, a torn disc. Last year I was still walking three miles and push mowing. This winter my pain got so bad. I don’t really know what to do next. I have been on a short course prednisone for a skin condition. It helped my pain but obviously a doctor won’t give long term steroids. A doctor friend read my mri and said a lot of treatments would not work because of how much damage I have. I don’t want to get in strong pain pills. The worse thing I can do is sit. I did push mow today, but in pain now. I am doing pt on utube because my insurance does not pay all and the doctor friend said it was good to strengthen the core, but it can not cure what I have. I am so sorry you suffer too. ❤
Hi Rita, Thank you so much for sharing your history with me. I am so sorry as well to you and I really hope you get this sorted out. There is hope! Even though it has been a challenge for me to get to this point, I am so glad that I was able to create a program that has helped thousands of people who are in pain and finally feeling relief. If you want to take a look into the program, here is the link for the 7 Day Free Trial. I truly hope you give it a try and would love to hear how you like the trail if you do decide to continue. www.corebalancetraining.com/offers/2fR8V4Ev/checkout Thank you so much for being here!
Oh I wish I could... I walk for 15 min around the store and I am in pain from back down left leg all the way to my toes... 2 yrs now of physical therapy and only getting worse. Cannot get pain meds that help... and really don't want that.. would rather fix the problem as much as possible.. meds just bandaid that cause other health issues.
Hi Peggy! Thank you for tuning in to the video. As long as you feel you are wearing the belt correctly, it is okay. Be sure that you are only wearing the belt while moving and exercising- not constantly. Here is a Short video where I talk about this. Thank you for being here! th-cam.com/video/9uljO2cYzMM/w-d-xo.html
It’s took me a year to get to the point of getting around normal and it was a bit to get running. It took 3-4 months but I was running 4 miles in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. I do calisthenics and kettlebells and hike and backpacking
Also walked The Camino 100 kilometers for the beautiful certificate from Portugal to Spain. I used a fanny pack for back support. Luggage Mule Service NO BACKPACK. Thank you.Now I swim but will start walking again and floor exercises. Please do segment onCamino. Im planning trip to Peru.
Hey Ryan. My name is Josef, i am from Israel, i am 18 years old. In israel when you get to 18 years of age you go to the army for service for 3 years so i need and want to go too but one day i went to the orthopedic and he told me i have a L5-S1 spondylolisthesis and he told me i can not go to the army and run with it i wanted to ask you, what i can do? What this problem means? How i can run? I saw so many doctors and vedieos and i understand nothing. i would love and be grateful for your honest opinion and answer, thank you Man you are the best
Josef, here is a link right to my answer to this question on the recent LIVE Q&A, just in case you missed it: th-cam.com/video/fLg3g9xA5Ag/w-d-xo.html (or in case anyone else wants to see the answer).
i LOVED this video at the moment of "Spondy" discussion - the hope of Spondy treatment being successful is simply beautiful to see/hear. thank you so much. I am a wee bit confused as to how i can make the walking movement (pelvis) - i would like to see this on a human - maybe you have other videos? Cheers!
Thank you for sharing and the kind words, hope and belief are huge factors in getting out of this! I do have plenty more videos on the TH-cam channel, but the best place to learn how to develop the core connection and feeling for bringing the pubic bone forward is in the program. It's tough because it's definitely more of a feeling than something you can put into words, and so we go through a systematic process of modeling after infant/baby development. There is a free trial so you can actually experience it and see if it works for you. We start with the Back Anchor in the first week, and then the pubic bone anchor is in the second week.
Yes, I, too, would like to see this in a human demonstrating it or the doctor therapist to show how please, and i don't quite understand what is stenosis what cause it
As a professional musician in a symphony orchestra for 42 years, sitting has been my life as well as the compression and twisting involved with playing viola. My lower spine is a mess.
Hi Raymond, thank you so much for your comment! We have an entire lesson on how to do this in the first week of the program. I recommend trying the free 7-day trial so that you have access the detailed instructions. Hope this helps!
I started the "pubic bone forward" a couple of days ago. It seems to be helping me. My SI is annoyed, but my worst symptom (leg stiffness in left quad) is the symptom that bothers me the most. My SI irritation and my quad stiffness came on about the same time six months ago. I am convinced they are related since imaging of my hip and knee have shown no abnormalities. Crossing my fingers this works because not being able to walk comfortably has really impacted my life in a negative way.
Dr. Ryan, I have an lamindectomy in 2013 L4&5, and have stenosis and sciatic in left leg. I also have a s-curve in my spine which I believe causes me spasm and lower back problems. I cannot run anymore, but walk with some problems on left lower back and hip area. Any suggestions on corrective solutions? I still out walking the dog and working in the gym. I’m 60 now and relatively healthy.
Hi Ken, thank you so much for sharing your situation with us; that is so helpful in understanding what is going on. The Core Balance Training program is designed to directly address the patterns that cause these specific conditions you're dealing with, including stenosis and sciatica. The program can also help promote muscular balance to reduce uncomfortable muscle spasms. By bringing the body into alignment, as our program teaches, you create more space in the spinal canal, alleviating the pain associated with sciatica. Additionally, by bringing your muscles into balance, we can help open up the space that has been narrowing and compressing, often associated with stenosis. Strengthening the muscles that support the natural curvature of the spine can help restore and maintain a healthier alignment in many cases. The core muscles, including the abdominal muscles, play a vital role in supporting the spine. Strengthening the core muscles can provide stability to the lower back, contributing to better posture and alleviating lower back pain for many individuals. Here are some great videos that Dr. Ryan put together for more information on theses topics that I think you might find helpful: What Causes Sciatica | How to Treat Sciatica (PART I): th-cam.com/video/yJ2HueVMpdg/w-d-xo.html Sciatica Relief Treatments VS. Long-Term Solutions (PART II): th-cam.com/video/xwVPLAlAWbw/w-d-xo.html Sciatica Nerve Pain Causes and Treatment | Anatomy L4-L5-S1 - th-cam.com/video/eTb-0XVDoXI/w-d-xo.html I recommend taking advantage of our free 7-day trial, as it covers the first week of the course, and many of our students report feeling significant relief during this period. It's also an opportunity to experience the program and see if it aligns with your needs and goals. 😊
Hi Sheldon, thank you so much for your comment! Yes, we have an entire lesson on how to do this in the first week of the program. I recommend trying the free 7-day trial so that you have access to that as well as detailed instructions on the Perfect Bridge. Hope this helps!

I watched a vid saying yoga was not good for joint issues .
Thank you this is helping. Question can I do rebounding with these conditions?
Thank you so much Dr. Ryan for sharing this information as it gives so much encouragement and support. I do a 1.5 to 2 miles walk 4/5 times a week. I will admit it is challenging as I find myself being pushed forward by the severe stenosis. I try to keep connected to my anchors and keeping the pubic bone forward will help to achieve that. I am definitely going to work on this and hopefully it will make walking more pleasant. I love the back anchor challenge and progression as it helps me so much. Keep up the great work.
Hi Mary,
Thank you so much for being here!
Thanks
Thank you so much for your generosity and support, David! 🙏
Best explanation ever. Thank you
thanks God to Made you for Helping humanity ❤❤❤😢😢 you are Most better Than Top Doctors
Add scoliosis to the mix and that’s me at 64..could you show how this is done?
THANK YOU I have only now found your video today and all your
teachings make so much sense I have been struggling to walk
for over 2yrs now and waiting for back surgery but I will most
definitely be trying to do the exercises you recommended and
following your videos.
Im going to try this as i am also having bulging and herniated disc at L5/S1... all the best!!
Hi u tried
This is my first time enjoying your TH-cam channel. Great content! Looking forward to hearing more from you! Your video was so informative. Thank you so much!
I’m so Thankful I found your TH-cam,, I have binge watch so many of your videos,, I totally relate to your back stories, Thank you for your advice, it’s helping me so much
I am so glad that I am able to help. Thank you so much for tuning in and reviewing what I have covered! I hope you are feeling well.
I can't wait to be able to run again. It's my favorite form of exercise.
Thankyoy for a very informative video. I had spinal decompression surgery on L4_5 and L3-4 four months ago and am learning to enjoy walking again. I had noticed after about half a mile it gets easier, now I understand why. I am excited to try this today.
Totally agree with you, walking is always better than sitting.
This works! I have been in pain for 8 yrs and today I found your video and tried this most of the day. What a difference, I can walk and can tell this will keep working, just need to build those muscles!
Thank you, best advice from a fellow sufferer
Thank you for the kind words, Malcolm... Means a lot!
Thank you so much for this, it is so so helpful.. and answered the question I was asking myself yesterday…’how should I be walking?’!
A fantastic video I will try this fully understood❤
Hi
Thanks for the video . Could you clarify .. HOW YOU BRING IT FORWARD IN ACTUALITY…
You mean the stomach muscles need to be tightened forward?… as a natural process while walking ?
Appreciate your clarification
Thanks
Dharam
I am very glad I come across your videos. I have degenerative disk , stenosis, and anterolisthesis with mild scoliosis. Ironically my job requires me to be on my feet 7 out of 8 hours. I have tried your recommendations on how to sit and have noticed an improvement in the tension in my back. I signed up for your program. Do you have any recommendations for a back brace or should that be avoided? Some days I can barely walk when I leave work.
Thanks so much for this video.
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your generosity and support, Dan! 🙏
Thank you for these ideas. I'm gonna try this today!
Thanks for wounderful video very much relate with me
I am so happy for this video because I reached the same conclusion for myself for the stenosis I have. Thank you so much! This video gives hope
Hi Gabrielle, I'm so happy to hear that you found the video helpful and that it has given you renewed hope!
Thank you for this new information, it makes incorporate this strategy into my daily routine. 👍
I have severe foraminal stenosis at L5-s1. I can walk about 50 steps and then I have to get on the ground and unpinch the nerve. You are the first person who's suggested a technique to avoid the pain. I will try it
Hi Ty, thank you so much for your comment. Please do try it out, and let us know how it goes! 😊
Love this guy, thank you so much Dr Ryan
I think the content of what you’re saying is probably great - I’m super distracted by the Muzak playing through it all though! Just a note, thank you for making this.
Hi Jack,
Noted! Thank you so much for checking out the video.
Woooo hoooo I’m going to work on this. I hope I can run again 🎉. I’m going to have to set a timer to constantly remind me to engage those areas.
I have an upright walker and extending my arms far forward I can engage the core very well. Great for lunges too. I have severe cervical, spondylethesis, lower lumbar stenosis, sciatica, neuropathy.
Do you have resources for cervical issues?
I wish you would have demonstrated with your own body. How to walk with pelvic tilt. And how to do pelvic tilt while standing
l got this from the previous comments ie tucking the tailbone , hope it helps
I wish someone can do a demonstration so that we can learn properly and correctly.
When you say tension in the abdominals do you mean like flexing the core or pushing out?
Doctor! Thank you for dedicating your life to such a cause.
Am
Very sure this is only with very very minimal stenosis otherwise run will be impossible
Can't wait to give this a try! Thanks for sharing.
Excellent information Dr. Peebles. Thank you.
So what exercise am I suppose to do to get my hips forward ??
Thank you for the info it helps a lot I have been suffering fr lumbar stenosis for 2 yrs now PT helps a lot but insurance pays only so much sessions thank you for fb posting this info
It motivates me to know that you have suffered with this yourself 😊
Thanks for your video. Although I don’t fully understand it, walking seems better.
Health is priceless. Next week we will go to iPhone to do finance and thank you.
I have this, but where is the video to tell you how to correct it?
wow!!! this is it!! so simple and few talk about it thsnk you so much❤❤❤❤
Hi Dr., I just had an mri..last one was 2015 and was sent to a surgeon who did fusion l4/5 with two cages and screws. ❤
Hi Rita,
Thank you so much for sharing your history with me.

Oh I wish I could... I walk for 15 min around the store and I am in pain from back down left leg all the way to my toes... 2 yrs now of physical therapy and only getting worse. Cannot get pain meds that help... and really don't want that.. would rather fix the problem as much as possible.. meds just bandaid that cause other health issues.
did you sing the song 500 miles while you were walking?😀. Great effort
I'm a DPT. Love these videos! Thank you!
I'm a PT. Would love to chat
How does this apply to those dealing with hypermobility syndrome?
I have been using an SI joint belt which has helped relieve the pain when walking and activities. What are your thoughts on this?
Hi Peggy!
Thank you for tuning in to the video.
As long as you feel you are wearing the belt correctly, it is okay.
Be sure that you are only wearing the belt while moving and exercising- not constantly. Here is a Short video where I talk about this.
Thank you for being here!

You never say HOW to rotate the pelvis backward , except “pubic bone forward”. But how do you do that?
Wow thank you for the information
Thank you, because we are retired people and we no longer do our finances online. Is there any other way?Or send you a check?
So, how do you "tilt your hips"? Is it by tightening your abdominal muscles? Do you recommend any exercises to learn to do this properly?
Thank you!
Question, is a pelvic tilt what you want us to achieve when walking?
Thanks again
Elizabeth
It’s took me a year to get to the point of getting around normal and it was a bit to get running. It took 3-4 months but I was running 4 miles in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. I do calisthenics and kettlebells and hike and backpacking
I feel like the only way I can do this is to push my buttocks in and tighten up my stomach is this what you mean? Thank you
Also walked The Camino 100 kilometers for the beautiful certificate from Portugal to Spain. I used a fanny pack for back support. Luggage Mule Service NO BACKPACK. Thank you.Now I swim but will start walking again and floor exercises. Please do segment onCamino. Im planning trip to Peru.
Oh! Yes! Public bone forward! It can be hurting, and I remember to go to public bone forward, and it reduces or ends the pain
I saw so many doctors and vedieos and i understand nothing.
i would love and be grateful for your honest opinion and answer, thank you
Man you are the best
@@CoreBalance thanks!
Yes, I, too, would like to see this in a human demonstrating it or the doctor therapist to show how please, and i don't quite understand what is stenosis what cause it

Thank you for your video. How would I teach this to a 79 year old with no body awareness ? What are some easy cues?
As a professional musician in a symphony orchestra for 42 years, sitting has been my life as well as the compression and twisting involved with playing viola. My lower spine is a mess.
I am asking the universe to bless you and your life
So how do I do what you’re suggesting. Is it just a case of pulling the stomach muscles in when walking? Thanks
Hi Raymond, thank you so much for your comment! We have an entire lesson on how to do this in the first week of the program. I recommend trying the free 7-day trial so that you have access the detailed instructions. Hope this helps!

It makes sense, but the abdominal muscles would tighten badly, could you suggest ways to relieve it?
What are your thoughts on inversion tables?
I started the "pubic bone forward" a couple of days ago. It seems to be helping me. My SI is annoyed, but my worst symptom (leg stiffness in left quad) is the symptom that bothers me the most. My SI irritation and my quad stiffness came on about the same time six months ago. I am convinced they are related since imaging of my hip and knee have shown no abnormalities. Crossing my fingers this works because not being able to walk comfortably has really impacted my life in a negative way.
What would be your advice for someone with mild retrolisthesis?
What about cervical stenosis? What if you have both?
Ryan put together for more information on theses topics that I think you might find helpful:

I recommend taking advantage of our free 7-day trial, as it covers the first week of the course, and many of our students report feeling significant relief during this period. It's also an opportunity to experience the program and see if it aligns with your needs and goals. 😊
Excellent tip. Thank you. Pubic bone forward. Xx
Very helpful....thanks
Never saw any ‘technique’. Just told to rotate pelvis forward. Might help to explain HOW to do this?
Hi Sheldon, thank you so much for your comment! Yes, we have an entire lesson on how to do this in the first week of the program. I recommend trying the free 7-day trial so that you have access to that as well as detailed instructions on the Perfect Bridge. Hope this helps!
