So jealous, I love ordering parts for mine also, just don't always have the money and parts are more scarce in SA. Lovely bit of parts you got there! My last purchase was new balljoints and bearings all round
Maniflow exhausts are solid and will outlast a RC40 tenfold. The tail Pipe is plated and they don't rust. I have a twin box system but it is very loud when in top gear cruise. I have no carpets or sound deadening however.
Hi Keith, I was the guy in the restaurant, my wife has just been bouncing cause you mentioned us. Kept a look for you but there was so many people. Wished I'd known earlier about the clocks as I'm going from standard to wood and we might have been able to do a swap. Hope to catch up with you at another show, love the video's. Martin
I didn't attend this year due to work, but the club I am in with my mini didn't do it this year either. I've never done this show actually, done all the rest, hopefully next year. :)
Hi Keith, Sorry I missed you at Bingley. I was there but didn't manage to spot you in the crowds. The auto jumble was fairly manic in the morning and whilst I managed the part I was after it was a bit of a scrum.
You got some bargains there Keith. As you say £5 for the binacle your time is worth more than that let alone the cost of fuel going to Halfords to get the paint. Great buy. Keep up the great work. 👍
Hi Keith, nice parts haul. Everyone loves a unboxing 😊 shame I missed you at Bingly , so many people, so many nice minis and stuff to buy a day is just not long enough 🤣
Nice Haul. Be careful with the KAD callipers, the brake hose hole isn't a standard mini thread. They sell specific ones for their callipers, which i found out after i bought them for the ERA. That manifold looks like it could do we ceramic coating. 😉
After spending about 3hrs overhauling the calipers and buying new 8.4" discs and pads, I found out the callipers are 7.9"........ FFS. So, not sure I'll use them now! Send me a link for where you bought the ceramic stuff please.
Couldn't make Bingley this year as I am up to my ears in a new project - A P38 Range Rover. Lovely exterior but an absolute builder's shed inside and I can say that as the previous owner was a builder! That £260 for the complete exhausts system was a good buy. Maniflow are very good after all. I bought an SS manifold for Noah's Twin Cam head from Specialist Components and that was £336 on it own. Looks like an LCB but is a 2" OD outlet after the Y piece. The rest is a 'standard' Maniflow 1 7/8" two box system but with a twin outlet centre mounted final box. What you said about noise is right. I paid a known supplier £299 for the middle and tail pipe on special order. But you got some great bargains there mate. The binnacle and fresh air vents will make a world of difference and you will always see them.
I was very tempted to go SS! I might get this one ceramic coated before fitting. I love a P38 Range Rover, it's one of those cars you can fix anything with a bit of knowledge. Had a 1999 2.5DSE for a while. Very slow, but still a please to drive.
@@classicminiworkshop Mine is a 2001 4.0 Litre V8 'Bordeaux' limited edition and you are right you can work your way round the car by taking your time. The electronics (like the huge great BECM) were advanced for the time but I have found some great people to get information. Currently the whole dash is out. Did the heater seals leak? Of course they did. Great fun and not difficult.
Great update Keith. Those parts won’t be on the work top for long. I’m sure you’re itching to get them fitted. Sounds like the auto jumble was definitely worth the trip. Some amazing bargains.
I was on the look out for you at Bingley Hall. Unfortunately I saw no one I recognised. The crowd was intense. Great show, I picked up a few things myself.
Hi Keith, good to meet you both at Bingley and thanks for the pic, I was the lad behind the spares counter for South Lakes who probably didn't introduce himself 😊. Anyway all the best and good luck. Roy
Needed to change my twin RC40 system...was thinking if I could go single box.....should be interesting. That seems pricey Keith, I was looking at these Maniflow systems as well, I believe the main box is stainless steel, probably explains the price. And yes it is great buying parts, this can only happen when you own a Min
When I checked, it was actually about £15 cheaper to buy the same exhaust from Mini Sport and collect it at the show. I didn't realize at the time. When I ordered direct from Maniflow, they said it was 20% off. It's a shame when the manufacturer gets under cut by a supplier!!
Didn’t manage to say hi and introduce myself Keith, I only noticed you at last minute as you was walking out with the LCB over your shoulder😂 was a great day out 👍
Hi keith, Currently watching your budget build mini, can i ask what gas regulator do you use? As i have the clarke 151 mig that is gas only and used only in the garage and the 135 no gas version for the drive (ive got four project minis im working on 🤣)

Hiya Keith-great to see you and Ang at Bingley, I never found Mark unfortunately. I was looking for a dash rail for Bruce but the ones I saw were a bit tatty. Never mind. Keep well.
Can’t wait for the Racing Green to be finished Keith. 👍🏻
Plus great shout out to @marcushayesford also 😊
I really enjoy your videos, I find them inspirational😃 Good man👍
great deal! Don't depress me, you're the one who motivates me when I see your videos

For mixing filler I use an old lid from a 5 litre ice cream tub. All you do is bend it a bit an all the old hardened bits of unused filler fall of.
Good tip mate. I usually use old run plaques, but I've run out. Couldn't bare to use the 1992 Rivera Run one LOL

It's well worth the visit, especially if you have parts to buy
I find it very therapeutic buying / fitting bits for the mini ! Looking forward to seeing the progress 👍
Thanks 👍

No problem mate, catch you next time. Yes, I agree, the only problem with the autojumble is it's so popular!
How much coffee had you drank before this video 😂😂😂 like Christmas has come early 👍 . Keep them coming Keith great content as usual.
Thanks mate, I love new parts LOL

Was hoping to get to Bingley with my Y reg R50 as the club had a stand at the event but sadly couldn't make it.
That would have been nice, possibly the only Y reg R50 at the show?

No, I missed that@@niallmccarthy1154

Hi Keith, you'll find that the new engine is a 1040cc.....not a 998......another great video and well done with the bargain parts haul 👍🏻
Thank mate, nice!
I need to get up there again but the bank car is never very happy when I go to shows like that 😂
Hi mate, good to see you back on your Mini!
@classicminiworkshop family life had to come first but I'm loving working on the mini..... and watching TH-cam 😁
I never haggle I just walk away if it is asking too much.
I get that all the time and have no idea who they are lol
Ever year you drive past my house on the way to Bingley and you never pop in for a pint erm erm.......... i mean a cup of Tea lol
