오스트리아의 작곡가이며, ‘가곡의 왕’이라 불릴 정도로 수많은 가곡들을 작곡했습니다.
독일 낭만주의 음악의 개척자로 여겨지고 있으며 시대적으로 바흐, 모차르트, 베토벤의 계보를 잇는, 음악사에서 빼놓을 수 없는 중요한 음악가입니다.

Serenade means 'evening music' in French, and the original pronunciation is closer to serenade. It is a song sung at night to express love at the window of a loved one‘s house.
