I'm a hotshot. R&R transport services of TN LLC, .....it helps to talk with the office staff( after a good delivery), to see if they need a dedicated account with you. And follow up with them. You can negotiate the rates, and basically eliminate the broker and the dispatcher services, which,in the short term, save you money!
Congrats on your new walk with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Hope you are still walking with him and allowing him to lead your life. Stay safe and blessed driver.
@@truckertavis been watching your channel and love the content. Especially the Bible verses and prayer. Also the intro to this video... Congratulations.
My middle name is Tavis and it’s my main name to everyone around me! My first names Larry and didn’t like it growing up 😂. What’s even funnier is me and my wife are fixing to start a hot shot company! You got a new subscriber here and good luck to you in the future 💪🏻
Yes sir stay safe out there I just went active last week getting all my supplies togeather now and eld ordered do you have any tips on how to sleep in a truck like yours I have 18 ram 2500 long bed tradesman 4 door and not sure what the best option will be for sleeping
Awesome to hear! Enjoy the adventure. And for sleeping remove the back seats and passenger seat, build a frame, and you can have a nice little area to sleep/relax in.
Hey Travis, watched a few of your vids, I'm out of the Black Hills, SD side and do a lot of oversized loads. You are not required to take breaks when oversized... ~Rob~
@@truckertavis not sure, I won't use eld, paper log only. Another pro tip from me is to cut your chains down... I carry 6-8 5', 4 10', and 2 20' chains. I use the 5' 90% of my loads. ~Rob~
So you can only drive 30 mins after sunset? And why did you have to take a 30 min break or you just did that in ur own? Do you have to call each weigh station because of oversized load

Great to see you using the heck out of this trailer! Such a nice set up!
Thank you! It’s definitely been good to me!
Very nice. Getting my bags packed to head out myself this coming weekend.
That’s awesome!! Prepare to hear a lot of “no’s” and struggle the first few months. Other than that it’s a blast!

i've seen that some remove the front passenger seat and build a bed from front to back for more leg room...

Thank you for the info! I was unaware of that. How do you get past the violation on the ELD?

I've been wanting to get into hotshot for a long time. Think I'm finally going to do it. Been watching your videos the last 3 months.
Appreciate you watching! If you do it, just keep your head up and fight through the first 6 months.
@@truckertavis I was going to start with moving RVs to get started. Seems to be a ton of little things to remember.
Yeah bud those rates will run you into the poor house.find something else to do.maybe buy a dustless blaster or something.
As long as I average $1/mile I’ll profit
Who brokered that pontoon boat to Alaska, crest boats are 80 miles from my home
Didn’t broker it. It was a direct customer

Good Videos, How many miles on the Truck? Looks good..
what are those metal round things, they make them around my house also, thanks
They are anchors, bases for electrical poles that go in the ground
i think on the over sized you could of turned it a little, so it won't be so sketchy looking...
I asked about it and I guess they’ve shipped it out like that before but didn’t have a way to offload it properly

Still doing non-CDL? Are there any restrictions with oversized loads and non -CDL
Still non-CDL but nope everything about oversize applies to us like anyone else
@@truckertavis thanks
