That stat on Russ clarified why Draymond Green kept getting 2 technicals and multiple flagrants earlier in the year; he didn’t want to be known as triple-single anymore.

The scary part is Luka having one of his worst playoff games(shooting wise).
In his interview he didn't sound healthy, I hope I'm wrong.
He seems to play hurt (knees) and sounded a bit ill during the interview, he has not played the way I'd expect him to, and I specifically mean the plays he goes for not his %.

Finally someone broke perkins record. It took almost 20 years. Youre legend perks😂. 2 tech, 1 flagrant and 1 point.
Safe to say our defense is beefed one of the best. I think we are dominating at the rim as well. If this means scoring is gonna be a bit down then I m fine with. I want teams to fear our defense.
Luka has been playing descent to good defense all year. And he’s had moments when he played really good to great defense, coming from a player who was defensive liability, JUST LAST YEAR. The fact that he’s made such a leap on that end, AND STILL managed to improve on every need offensively is why he should’ve not only been mvp, but also most improved player. You can’t tell me 1 other player who improved THIS much in EVERY aspect of his game, let alone another star. If he continues at this trajectory and stays healthy then my God, the league is gonna bow to 27/28 year old luka. Dude JUST turned 25. He was 24 for majority of the regular season 😅. This dude is different and putting on a defensive showing like this is only gonna make him that much more of a legend. If luka never played another game he’d already be a legend without a ring because what he’s done has never been seen before. If he plays 15 years and just gets better with time, he will be in the goat conversation. Watch, it’s gone be alot of regret from voters who missed out on anointing him sooner

Perk was a big part of Boston winning the chip. One of the only teams at that time that didn’t have to double Dwight Howard because Perk could guard him 1 on 1
I noticed in his 2nd season he could play defense. I studied his foot speed, angles, spacing, anticipation, and shot challenging. He had it all along but wasn't locked in and just being flat-out lazy.
I still have receipts from a couple of years ago when Luka locked down Ja Morant in the final seconds of a game! This is nothing new to me. Good defense is mostly energy and effort anyways. Man the f up!
