Would be respectful to name the composers.
Only for the best original songs, are the composers mentioned.
2024 will be oppenheimer then and we all know it already. can you hear the music is haunting, as beautiful as music can be!
You'll need to fix this. 1983 Best score is The Right Stuff. 1984 is A Passage to India. You have both as The Postman, which by the way should be Il Postino.
I hate to be that person, but The Imperial March was from The Empire Strikes Back, not the original Star Wars. The clip you used was also from The Empire Strikes Back.
Also, it's Schindler's List, not The Schindler's List.
You are that person
@@wesley_tavaressomebody needs to be
For Star War, why did you play music from The Empire Strikes Back? 😂
Schindler’s List makes me breakdown
What part of the score were you trying to play for The Godfather Part II? Noisy car engine?
Also, the part you used for The Social Network isn't original from the movie's score. It's In the Hall of the Mountain King and predates TSN, and I'm pretty sure the Oscars
In 1947, the scoring of " Captain from Castile" SHOULD HAVE WON, it is an ABSOLUTE MUST !!!
How Ennio Morricone did not for Cinema Paradiso' score?
or the Mission
Seeing this list just reminds me that the two movies that deserved to win an Oscar never did... Superman the Movie and Raiders of the Lost Ark..
It's great to see the variety. For example, you have the scores that sound like the typical piece of classical music similar to the greats like Beethoven, Mozart, etc. (think Out of Africa or Titanic) and then you have those that are created to fit the movie, maybe specific scenes (think Jaws, All Quiet on the Western Front, etc.). I'm glad the Academy can embrace both styles. 🎵🎶
Did those original scores compose themselves? You should go back and try again
2024 - Ludwig Göransson for Oppenheimer
When you had Star Wars up in 1977, you used the wrong piece from the wrong film. What we heard was the The Imperial March, which was not in Star Wars from 1977, but from The Empire Strikes Back from 1980.
I didn't know The Postman from 1995 and 1997 won against The Right Stuff and A Passage to India a decade before they were even made despite Kevin Costner's mASSterpiece never being nominated. Nor did I notice The Imperial March being in the New Hope Special Edition with footage from Empire Strikes Back. Also, I thought there were shotguns instead of walkie talkies in E.T.. This channel really deserves an Oscar for Unforgivable Incompetence.
What's with THE POSTMAN appearing multiple times? (three)

I had no idea that a dirigible appeared in Stagecoach??
I know you worked hard on this but for crying out loud why didn't you name the composers who actually won? These are some of the most famous names in movie history -- John Barry, John Williams, Richard Rodgers, Jerry Goldsmith, Miklos Rozsa just to name a few. Name these hard working men you actually wrote this beautiful music!
Hans Zimmer.
Same goes for Life is Beautiful over the thin red line like wtf
2023 is Steal the show from Elementals🥰
Little mermaid over field of dreams actually makes me want to throw up
A lot of mistakes in this video
Poor editing
Probably the worst orchestral arrangement of film scores I have heard!
I knowwww like, I rlly felt for half of them that a different movie should have won for score
A lot of the pieces of the score chosen for the video were not the best examples of the score. Sometimes two or three random notes were used when a more identifiable example could and should have been used. Some of the scores are very famous pieces of film music, but you would never know it based on some of the snippets used for this video.
Chaplin's LIMELIGHT, produced in early 50's, awarded for the music in 1972 ? What the hell ?
Up to 2006 excellent after awful wonder why ??? 🥵🥵🥵🥵
