You'll never hear a bad Floyd song....NEVER!!!!!
Facts
@@PradaWest if you want to hear a slightly different Floyd lusten to Granchester Meadows from the Umaguma album
If you want to see early Pink Floyd, check out the song Echoes in Pompei from 1972. The song for the concert/video is broken into two parts.
@@grantdumas4076 great suggestion. It’s one of the best!
Hmmm fuck yeah !
listened to this in my youth g fantastic, on shrooms 😊
This was 30 years ago, and this concert still has not been topped. I saw this tour at R.F.K stadium in DC and it's still the best show i've ever been to
Seen PF on their '80, '87 & this '94 tour and this was by far the best of those.
✅
That’s cool 😎
Love how the guitarist snuck in the Doctor Who theme
great reaction, id recommend you stick with the pulse concert and try "RUN LIKE HELL"
or "GREAT GIG IN THE SKY" both will suprise you and im sure you will enjoy both
🇨🇦 After listening to this and all the other Pink Floyd tracks from the Pulse concert, maybe now you can understand why it is hard for #Boomers to listen to Rap ! 🇨🇦
The "C" is silent in Crap!
Pink Floyd was doing a live concert and the wind picked up The pig was named Albert broke loose and was cruising at 35.000 ft which played havoc with civil aviation also made all the News and papers there was a cartoon which depicts a pilot encountered the flying Pig it was freaking hilarious
Growing up listening to Pink Floyd i am now retired and yes I am still listening to this awesome music 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 all the best from Nottinghamshire England
three from the pink floyd concert you must see high hopes great gig in the sky and the closer run like hell they will blow you away
This song was mind blowing live
✅
The stadium seemed to take off and on the verge of exploding 😂
Thumbs up !
This track was the closer for their opening set (and well chosen). They end the second set with "Run Like Hell".
✅
Love Pink Floyd ❤❤
it was 1971 the opening track on the Album Meddle my first Pink Floyd album I bought at the tender age of 15 I was blown away.
Let’s gooooo!!! This was their first set closer as they went to break. Try KEEP TALKING live pulse. It’s different and has a great surprise. Speechless with SORROW as well. The videos take away from the music, and the live version are excellent
Amazing bassist
'Time' from the same concert. One of the most profound songs ever from one of the best albums of all time (no pun intended) and 'Take It Back' would be my second choice for those oh so sweet harmonies. Enjoying your Floyd journey.
I want to take this ride of discovery with you . I saw Pink Floyd in concert back in 77 . I loved every decibel and laser in the show . So what’s next ? Same concert Time !
Music is the closest thing to a Time Machine! Lovin’ the Pink Floyd reactions 🙌🏼
Those crazy pig props, as epic as they were, were used for just like the two last minutes of this song and that’s it. That’s dedication and attention to detail. Like when people are still talking about this show, 30 years later, you know you’ve nailed it.
Love this ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🔥
The opening track for their Meddle album. Many will say that Dark Side of the Moon is their ultimate studio work; however, Meddle was the preceding album and essentially announced to the world that Pink Floyd would become a force to be reckoned with. Its first side is a solid mix of blues rock tunes. Side two is one song (Echoes) and it sets the stage for what would follow. 👌
Don't forget about 1972's Obscured By Clouds, which is really the true musical bridge between 1971's Meddle and 1973's Dark Side. It gets lost in the shuffle being a soundtrack and sandwiched between those two masterpieces, but it stands right up there with everything else they did from '71-'79.
Was an awesome instrumental!! ❤❤
Ahoy mate, yeh that was a fantastic concert, every time those flash bangs went off on stage you could feel the heat hit the cheeks on your face, searing in to you and just bearable. My friend and me both dropped two LSD smiley face trips each !!!!!, "like you do", on the way to the venue. What a great night out we had, every song was jaw dropping, three cheers to you thanks
The lyrics are "one of these days I'll cut you into pieces".
React at...Shine on you crazy diamond live Pulse, High Hopes Live Pulse, Time Live Pulse, Run like Hell live Pulse...and On The Turning Away live 1988...Epics songs 👍👍👍
First time seeing this live and I Love it! ❤ but I have heard of this song! Another Great Show my friend! ❤
❤❤❤🎉🎉pink Floyd's the shit 💓 lol great song much luv & respect always Cass ❤️😅
I love watching all ur reaction videos... ur my favorite... I know pink Floyd lol but it's been years since I have listened to them...
Isn't this just amazing. I saw them on this tour. I can't tell you just how loud this was.
I agree with some other comments, try Great Gig in the sky, Keep Talking ir Shine on you crazy Diamond.
Or go to live at Pompeii 1972 and try Echoes
Great reaction as always Prada! Glad youre enjoying the PF rabbit hole ❤
Thanks 🙏🏼
Despite what anybody says David Gilmour is playing a fender 1000 pedal steel guitar! Some want to call it a lap steel but even if you Google it it's going to come out as the fender 1000 pedal steel!! He plays it on the song breathe from Dark Side of the Moon and one of these days off of their Meddle album which is the song you just heard!! If you want to see him play it again with an epic solo do the song "High Hopes" again from this same concert!!
From Gilmourish
Jedson lap steel (red)
- Fitted with a EMG-H pickup. Open Em chord tuning (E B E G B E) for One of These Days and High Hopes.
Thanks for the info
Ok
@jimangela - 100% correct. David plays a Jedsen lap steel, not a Fender.
@@ianfortier5534 if that's true I will just ignore Google's info from here forward!! It's possible that's what he played on the original recording but not at Pulse.
Try "Run Like Hell" from the same concert. They are just amazing.
Also from the outstanding PULSE collection, please check out SORROW, and also RUN LIKE HELL. (Fasten your seat belt for Run Like Hell.)
Its so good to see your fresh and genuine reactions to these songs. It's perhaps even more amazing that you can appreciate it just as much now as I, (and many other old farts), - appreciated it for the first time around 50 years ago. It's a wonderful validation of Pink Floyd's genius, and of the fact that even back then we as fans were right in thinking that this was all great! (Despite what our parents might have thought.
Thank you for sharing your experiences with us Prada, and I hope that you continue to explore and enjoy more from this fantastic band.
✅
Absolutely ✅ 👍🏼 🙌🏼
Told you Prada. This is the best ever Pink Floyd "Jam" song ever. Thanks for taking my request. Ill have others later for you as I follow.
The guys in this band could be 100 years old and they’d still be the coolest kids on the block.
I love the psychedelic input
The song you are thinking of is Sleep Walk by Santo & Johnny
🤘🏽YEAH!!! 🤘🏽 This one rocks hard. Another one that's hard as a mf is Sheep from the Animals album. 💗
✅
You must do ECHOES LIVE IN POMPEI. YOU WILL SEE EARLY FLOYD…YUM
NOT THERE YET BRUV....
Yo J-Roc, we want more Queen!!!
2:28 that year 1994 seriously
All this live one concert!!!!😂😂
So good
Those are called 'lap steel guitars '
This song was used in an episode of Sopranos. Paulie and Chris were collecting money and it didn't go well. Bad things happened, it was one of those days
If you not listened to high hopes should do that one next from the pulse concert ad the solo at the end is insane and no matter how many times I listen to it I feel I just want to cry.
✅
David Gilmore is the best of Pink Floyd. I love there music. My son got me to listen to there music. I like your reactions on Pink Floyd.
Love your reactions! PF is of course the greatest. Another band I’d like to see your reaction to is Led Zeppelin. Dazed and Confused is great, especially the live version. ✌🏻💕
I will check it out
Two things: For all the sully commenters, a pedal steel guitar has well, PEDALS that shift the tone of the strings. This has no pedals nor linkages to the floor, hence it is a plain steel or lap steel guitar! Second for Prada West, you should consider using only those videos labeled "PULSE Restored & Re Edited". This version, despite from a so called PF site, is stretched (visually distorted) and has lousy sound by comparison. Here is the superior version in both video and sound quality:
th-cam.com/video/CK_BcyKOAt4/w-d-xo.html ( Pink Floyd - One Of These Days (PULSE Restored & Re-Edited) )
✅
Not a pig, but with the tusk it is a wild boar.
Nice little tribute to Dr. WHO in there😂
it is a lap steel guitar
It's a Lap Steel Guitar...not a Pedal Steel
It's not a lap steel. A lap still is played....on your lap. This is a pedal steel guitar.
@@neillenet291 It's a Lap Steel on a stand. There are no pedals. 😁
@@neillenet291 "The most well known and sought after Jedson is no doubt the lap steel guitars made famous by David Gilmour. These were early 1970s copies of the Fender Deluxe table/lap steel with six strings, volume and tone controls and two custom single coil pickups."
@leshubbell3254 after doing some research you are absolutely correct.
Try Sorrow from this concert
Dude if you want an Epic live performance…. The Who Live 1978 Sheperton Studios…won’t get fooled again 🔥🔥🔥❤️✌🏼 and Happy 4th!!!

The worst seat at this was the front rows. saw 5 times. trade 7 rows in front for the back. heir is a first version 1972 Pompeii ( No lights) more drums. then this one. Dave return to Pompeii 2016 started with an instrument that I have never seen. Pompeii 2016 " In Any Tongue" ***********
Pedal steel guitar
Sry I was preoccupied with Asperger's growl
How about live... but
NO LIGHTS, NO PYROTECHNICS in fact NO AUDIENCE!
Just Gods playing to the Gods
Pink Floyd "Echoes (Part 1)" live at Pompeii 1972
