Ofcourse this is also the combination of memory and software where not.all objects are fully rendered at far distance. 32gb memory is leaves excluding OS etc. roughly 24gb, 24000000 objects to be registered with 1kb data each.

Those soldiers being buried alive in their bunker by a mountain of corpses was horrifying.
Less Orcs died in this battle than Germans at the Somme...
And the survivors were never right in the head after seeing the horrors they saw that day.....

Those lucky 3 orcs now have the job of a) collecting their dead and b) "comforting" 😜all those grieving Orc widows.
No they just wanted a lake of blood to go swimming in. You could water ski in the lakes they made actually.

@@thrugz 40k in UEBS2 would be the best collab ever.
Kinda wish that, when the tanks died, they left behind a burning hulk. Seems like that might be a nice touch. After all, if the infantry can leave bodies that can pile up and alter the terrain (after a fashion), surely a tank should as well.
That said, one of the better UEBS battles, in my opinion.
I've said many times they should at least leave behind some metal like the catapults or whatever leave wood piles. Difficult to get them to see suggestions though :(
This is what I imagine the Imperium of Man verse a Tyranid invasion looks like.
And their radio transmissions would be jammed by the tyrannids, only arriving years later as frantic and distorted calls for help.

Soldiers and tanks also don’t have unlimited ammo and stamina/ durability. They would have been overrun if this is more realistic.
Also the orcs army in this game is inferior to the orcs or the tyrannids
It was the saddest thing seeing those bunkers die out one by one.

Terrible sim with the enemies glitching into the bunkers. And the tanks running over their own troops.
And not having any kind of realistic ammo expenditure.
This is by far the bloodiest battle I've seen yet! Troops literally drowning in rivers of their own blood! Tanks getting bogged down with dead bodies around them. What a blood bath.
Khorn is pleased with this tribute. Though been happier if you were a bit more aggressive, but the blood flowed all the same.

@@Ahrone1586 Khorn is one that is never happy. You either crush your foe or die trying. The blood flows all the same. Only cowards truly displease him and those who take pleasure in inflicting pain. Fight with honor and maybe join him in endless battle or receive a painless death.

This battlefield will be a major Biohazard for centuries to come.

I can't imagine how much rivers and great lakes of blood was seen in hand to hand wars
Just imagine a scene just like in this video and men are struggling to hold their sword due to the slippery blood with people slipping and falling in that blood bath.
Most battles in old times ended far before total annihilation. Cannae and Lake Trasimene were exceptions to the general rule.
People would have drown in the rivers and lakes of blood in this battle. Imagine being an orc and slipping and falling in the trench and you get trampled/drown to death in 3-4 feet of blood. Metal as fuck
People have about 1.3 gallons of blood in their body, which isn't that much, and it isn't all going to leave someone's body when they die. Even a very small pool has about 10k gallons of water in it for comparison, you're never getting rivers or lakes of blood in real life.

The flame throwing tanks were the difference. The ability to destroy up close enemies severely negated the damage incurred by them. And was hence why they were able to endure..

Watching those Orcs chase those modern soldiers beyond where the camera is allowed to travel on the map makes me think maybe the devs should surround the maps with impassable terrain lol

It seems the bunkers weren’t sited close enough to provide mutual cover and interlocking fields of fire… Had they been situated so they could support each other, i think they could have held out much longer.

Also, what’s with the M4 at 8:25? It looks like there’s no buttstock, and the soldier is using the buffer tube like a rear stock… sorta.

Great simulation really enjoyed it. Thank you for putting the total kills in the bottom if the screen. Those of us who watch it on our phone can't see the small kill count.

The bunker fireworks looked cool, but were too overpowered with the rapid gunfire.
It annoys me that the long range tanks can literally fire shells at enemies standing closer than the barrel. (developer suggestion)
I wish the AI was smart enough not to just rush to the nearest enemy tank and bunch up while a hundred soldiers lay waste to them from nearby. (developer suggestion)
I'm pretty much sure they were supposed to be flamethrowers.
The game is still in alpha, these are the kinds of features that are kinda obvious when it comes to development.
Too much development work for such a large scale battle game, even the smaller scale games like EFBS don't have any more sophisticated pathfinding etc.

Yeah, super shotguns are way OP. Considering the difference in total number of troops from one side to the other, this was not even a close battle.

Bloody Brilliant 😂 literally a sea & rivers of blood. The Shermans did well. I would’ve liked a few Arty batteries for the opening salvo & mortar crews for the close in support. Some EPIC last stands of lone soldiers.

Suggestion: If possible, move the “BSG” from the bottom right corner (where it blocks part of the “surviving enemy” number) to a different corner which is not used.

These sims, the ones that feature modern soldiers, need to add some heavy artillery, light artillery, and mortars to the defenses, with each artillery and mortar battery opening fire the moment the invaders come into range. For the artillery, fire a 50/50 mix of air-burst rounds and standard shells.
