- Quick video comparing the ARB ARB605 Blue Inflator with Gauge and Braided Hose vs the new ARB ARB601 Digital Tire Inflator. I've had the non digital inflator for about a year now. I got the digital a while back, but this is my first time using it.

Just ordered the ditial, THANKS!
"I have to do the hand thing.." love that :)
I like how you compare it with the tpms system. Great video mate
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thanks!
You should have used the same tyre (same tpms sensor) for both gauges to get an accurate comparison
The analog is $31 on Amazon as of today 27/10/22 I wanted it just so I'm not worried about batteries, and usually if mechanical gauges are off they stay the same off like in your video off by 3 so just account for it. But close enough for me, I would rather be one or two of and it works without batteries, but to each their own.
Can you please tell me how long it took for the pressure to go from 34 psi to 16 psi with the digital inflator?
Nobody seems to make a review on that which should be quite interesting, if not to slow would be a good alternative to valve core removal type deflators (which i dont like).
Cheers
Hi Marco. I have been using the jt brooks tire deflators. to do all 4 tires at once. no valve core removal. th-cam.com/video/KKoGwi7T0YA/w-d-xo.html
I never like the valve core removal either.
Is the digital equipped with a backlighting feature? It looks like it’s blue or a reflection?
If so, can brightness be adjusted?
Does either end of the hose swivel on the digital version?
Is the quick connect fitting made by Milton?
Is there a reason you didn’t install it?
Thanks for the comparison video.
There is a back light and it's a light blue. Come on automatically. The hose dose not swivel. I did not install the quick connect bc the digital host fitting looked more stout so I decided to use as is for now. I think I will be putting it on though, I still hear some air leakage.
It could also be that the vehicles monitor is not perfectly accurate. Its not easy to tell whats what.
It's possible. I have a follow up video coming out soon. Thanks for watching!
Have you tried Jaco’s Lightning air chucks?
no. I'll check em out. I did get a slip on chuck off of amazon that I put on my digital one.
Hey, can you share the brand of air chuck you purchased from Amazon? How did it work out?
oh, never mind...found it in your notes!
Just about to post the link. Thanks for watching!
Hello can you please repost the double pin chuck thingy you got from amazon as the link in the description is not working...maybe the brand too. Thx
www.amazon.com/dp/B008PZ7M26?ref=exp_summerlofnfamily_dp_vv_mw
Just checked and it's the same one.
@@WanderToGetLost thx bro
@@dxbeast1092 no problem!🤙🤙
Have you changed with the chuck?
nope. still the original on my inflator.
Digital is great and all but what happens when it dies and you don't have your analog inflator with you, then your like *how much air is in my tire????* me personally i look to the Analog Inflator to be more Reliable long term.
Can always fill with it and check the tpms reading on the dash. I also keep spare batteries with me.
How did you charge your dash to PSI?
The Jeep dash or the display on the arb guage?
@@WanderToGetLostI believe that he's talking about on your truck brother
Yeah Jeep dash, all good worked it out. Thanks!
These are hit and miss from ARB my digital gauge is 5 psi off and no way to adjust or calibrate that I’m aware of.
That's a bummer. Haven't had that issue. Hopefully I won't. Thanks for watching!
Boring and slow
