Not Android version. Necessary to turn on captioning to understand the narrator. But then , how do you make a header? Freeze columns and rows using WHAT marker? Video moves too fast in critical moments. Highlight it or something. A cheerful voice does not make up for lack of clarity.

I'd love to hang out with you for some time and figure out what you need which will help me make something like that. I don't work for Google but I have found in my life that teaching something is an excellent way to learn it better. Right now, I'm again a beginner in making spreadsheets. Of course I think I understand all the concepts but applying them is something specific. I don't know how we'll figure out how to connect since Google insulates these things so well, but willingness provides opportunity. Reddit might be a good way, with private messages.

@@coupleracademy THe speed of the video is not the issue. It is the glossing over of concepts such as "pulling the data from the next cell after 12" when referring to another sheet. You did not explain what this means or why it happens. It's just something you said and I have rewound that part multiple times to try to understand what you mean by that.
@@coupleracademy You can modify the speed on an Android device as well. You touch the three dots in the upper right hand corner and they give you choices. Myself, I often listen to things at faster speeds. It helps me pay attention so that my mind doesn't wander. On the other hand, if I need to think things over as the person is speaking, or if the accent is difficult for me, I can -and do- listen at 0.75. If I miss a word, then go back and listen again and miss it again, I also use the speed button to replay that section. That almost always works for me.
i need to allow users to write to my sheet through a script but users should not be able to view/open the sheet manually. the script needs to capture current user email. is this possible ?
I'm new to spreadsheets altogether so came into this as a TRUE beginner. Tightly packed with information, really amazing and extremely helpful. But found it EXTREMELY fast for this older user (in my 60s) and had to pause and rewind many times throughout. Also, there were a numer of times where the actions illustrated visually took place a second or two BEFORE the verbal instructinos were made, which I found difficult to process- I would have preferred the verbal instruciton first, followed by the visual illustration- that 1-2 seconds made a big difference. Appreciated the subtitles as well, because it helped me to hear and process the information more effectively. Thanks!

When did the word super become part of the common language? I hear it so often that I find it completely distracting when it is used so often my brain starts to melt. I used to schedule and teach computer classes. When someone asks me what the first class they should take, my reply was can you turn on your computer or laptop. I didn't find this tutorial very helpful. You spoke so fast and it was hard for you to follow. It might be helpful if you suggest a split screen so they can watch what you are doing in your video and have a spreadsheet open. Good Luck

When I hit the print button my Bill Pay show up properly. When I hit the Next button up top an entire different screen shows with only half of my page. A header shows but It does not show on my page to print .

Don't curse yourself , I am a full stack developer and am here learning sheets cuz a client wants me to use this instead of traditional databases we use. You cannot learn everything but you can learn what you need to.

@@keithcumber2395 It's best to hire a developer and explain the logic of how you want the data to be stored , processed and retrieved hooked up with a GUI interface, so that you can interact and use it to your needs with just a few clicks. And yeah, hiring a Dev doesn't cost you a fortune (some think this way).

When creating a sheet document how do I know what size font to use, so it all fits on my page? I need to create a contract, but it looks very small and doesnt fill page. If I use fit to page my print out only prints a portion of the sheet I created?
Hello Lynn, that's an interesting case. Select the range you want to print -> Print -> Print: selected cells + Paper size: A4 + Scale: fit to width (it will print the contract in 1+ pages, but the width should be as you've expected) or to page (might be very small). You can also modify headers and footers right in the printing menu. Hope this helps.

When I try to copy a spreadsheet, it includes the tool bar. How do I change this, so it doesn't include the tool bar? Thank you.
