Hey! So your comment is 10 months old, I currently am thinking about switching to this phone from iPhone 13 because the storage here is ridiculously small. So how is Nothing 2 holding up?
@@Domihockeyrocky it's holds up pretty well but if you're coming iPhone I would suggest u look into your options thoroughly as this isn't a top flagship level phone, your camera expections maybe higher. Otherwise it's very clean & minimal zero bloatware or slowing down like android phones tend to do as they age. So you will get plenty of storage to yourself. I don't game on my phone but afaik it can run every mobile game pretty well
@@falcon4359 ah so it has gotten slower? From what you’ve written it seems like a pretty good phone other than that💖🔥and I’ve never had 512 GB storage😍
@@Domihockeyrocky No not at all. I meant there isn't any bloatware or slowing down. It typically happens in other androids tho as they have their own bloated OS skins & branded software which gets unecessary updates. Nothing has pure andriod so no such bullshit
I personally like the look and feel of the original Android, especially since Android 12. However, I must say that Nothing OS 2 looks awesome too! As for customisation, I feel like companies ruin the phone when they try to add too many customisation options. As is the case with Xiaomi phones.
I still remember when we used to have rgb colored notification led lights on phones which we used for multiple purposes. This glyh interface is basically a upgrade to that older hardware
I was absolutely waiting for this review. I loved this phone when I saw it the first time, and it's the first one in a while that made me think about switching from my OnePlus8 Pro. Honestly after this I'm not so sure anymore. The aesthetic is insane, to me it's like one of the most aesthetic phones on the market, but I don't think it's really worth it.
I have a nothing phone (1), and I don't think I would trade a samsung S23 ultra for it. I love this phone so f*cking much! Every time I get a notification I smile because of the glyphs on the back lighting up. Everybody asks me what phone I have. Everyone thinks it is at least a 500€ phone. It is great!
i was hoping they’d provide a more well rounded camera. that’s the most important factor for me. it seems better but w video & front facing lacking, u may as well buy an older iphone. save money, reuse tech & have a more polished experience
Maybe after few months that the phone is out it will improve enough to be worth it for me but as it is now I don't think I'm convinced enough to buy it. I absolutely love the design, it's unique and super minimal without being minimal, but the price is still too much for what it offers. Also, the camera is a so so and I don't think fixing bugs will change it (but I'm not an expert so maybe it's possible)
Gonna wait for the next iteration. Faced a lot of issues with phone 1. Since the old OnePlus gang is back....may be they're gonna iron out whatever issues still left and next one's gonna knock it out of the park.
Absolutely fantastic review! Thank you so much. I've been looking to finally transition from iPhone to Android after being an iPhone loyalist for most of my life, and this phone looks like it may be perfectly up my alley!
Arun forgetting to cancel the Uber is such an Arun thing to do haha. Definitely why he is my favourite tech TH-camr, mainly for his realistic perspective throughout his videos.
What’s impressive about this phone though? Besides the light? What about this $600 phone is better than others? Or do you just wanna show people the light? How often is your phone face down?
Also I've always had an issues with the way third party apps completely ruin the fresh look your phone has with it's built in apps , the built in apps all have a matching theme so being able to turn the third party apps into the same theme looks much better at least to me
Can't believe how much smartphones have evolved. When they came out, their screen's refresh rate was so low that if we take a pic of the phones display we could see black line in the phone
As someone using a pixel 7, until they have an equally good camera I would not consider nothing, I really value the camera and pixel is simply the best overall

He compared them because they both had similar prices and cameras, not because they’re good. He did it BECAUSE they’re similar as in NOT AS GOOD as the iPhone

Btw the actual best thing about the nothing brand that i personally really liked is that they didn't go for the dirty tactics like releasing pro ultra max versions of 1 model like iphone or Samsung. They even kept the price so reasonable, they could've just made it expensive since there's only 1 version per model while other companies release 3 versions of the same god damn model

Only thing I found that's a bit of a compromise is the camera. Its very good but not impressive especially considering the price.
@@falcon4359 OH THAT’S AMAZING! Thank you for the info!💖I’m buying it…as soon as I have the money😂
I personally like the look and feel of the original Android, especially since Android 12. However, I must say that Nothing OS 2 looks awesome too! As for customisation, I feel like companies ruin the phone when they try to add too many customisation options. As is the case with Xiaomi phones.
There's no such thing as "too much" customisation.
I still remember when we used to have rgb colored notification led lights on phones which we used for multiple purposes. This glyh interface is basically a upgrade to that older hardware
Bruh!! Arun is rocking right now!!! Being super consistent!!! hats offf!!!

well spoken, clear, review. thank you
I was absolutely waiting for this review.
6:19 hahaha arun had to flex those cards... i would too lol
Three videos in a row! Arun got his priorities straight!
hi
Arun forgetting to cancel the Uber is such an Arun thing to do haha. Definitely why he is my favourite tech TH-camr, mainly for his realistic perspective throughout his videos.
It's funny you mentioned that because I was just thinking about it. 😁
Man this phone has really impressed me. I have a iPhone 14 pro but I’m seriously considering getting this phone as my no.2 android phone
Mind donating the iphone over bro🙏🏾🙏🏾
What’s impressive about this phone though? Besides the light? What about this $600 phone is better than others? Or do you just wanna show people the light? How often is your phone face down?
@@toptiertech7291 the glyph thing is gimmicky but I do like the design and the nothing android skin. But to each is own I guess
I have nothing 2 say
That was smooth.

I like how out of nowhere, everybody is finding this comment after 8 months
Also I've always had an issues with the way third party apps completely ruin the fresh look your phone has with it's built in apps , the built in apps all have a matching theme so being able to turn the third party apps into the same theme looks much better at least to me
This is such game changing tech that the phone users so badly need. And so is Arun's way of describing it. Love both these things.
Can't believe how much smartphones have evolved. When they came out, their screen's refresh rate was so low that if we take a pic of the phones display we could see black line in the phone
i love your vids and how much effort you put into these awesome informational videos.
bot- bot no mi
I love your content man keep up the great work
As someone using a pixel 7, until they have an equally good camera I would not consider nothing, I really value the camera and pixel is simply the best overall
if you really value the camera, just buy a DSLR, why buy a phone smh
@@Mr.DISRESPECT I value the camera but also convince and affordability, pixel proofed it is possible to have them both in one
Who else thinks Arun is the best tech TH-camr
Who is Arun?? 🙄
Its just crazy how beautiful this device looks❤
I loved how he posted a real review right after the one video with CEO this guy knows how to keep integrity more power to you boss🔥
5:45 Love the Fact that you didn't let the Uber Driver's Hard work go to waste but you actually Ride it.... Respect for this :) And for the donation to the Uber driver ig... Lol
I love my Nothing Phone (2). Thanks for this fantastic review! . You are so chill and positive.
4:38 Nice ringtone Rick
5:50
What?
He really filmed in uber?
Nah, glyph progress for uber doesn't make that sound. He probably set up a glyph timer and pretended it was Uber. The car was probably his friend's or maybe even his.😅
Arun uploading as early as possible just to give us the latest tech news is so thoughtful. great vid wish all the best.❤❤❤
"Its fun in theory, but impractical in reality. So, nothing's improved✨". LMAO💀
Arun's dedication to the Uber guy.....top tier
Hi Arun, love the vids, keep up the good content!
0:38 yea we saw it dont even try to hide it 😂
😂
Great video, you always make it look exciting and fun the way you edit the video ❤️
Love your vids Arun❤
Hopefully this gets to release on my country, been waiting for a 2nd version of Nothing Phone ever since
Can we just acknowledge the crazy amount of work Arun puts into these videos
He shaves his legs. Unsubscribing...
I dont get How people can get this many likes just commenting this like What they just say the same thing.🧐
"they are absorbing less of the cost", in other words, Apple just charges extra because it's an Apple, which is the same as saying iPhone is overpriced. which is a given with Apple.
i love apples software engineering and what theyve done w the dynamic island, but nothing putting live events onto the hardware level is actually such a good move
Arun makes one of the best reviews, we need more of these videos🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Honestly this is the company I was waiting for
Nothing's whole aesthetic is so good. Whenever I get rid of my current Samsung phone, I think I'll be investing in a Nothing phone. Very cool.
I love to see how comfortable you are getting with yourself over the years, it shows in good ways. IDK if you have been experimenting with that, it's making the video relaxing and informative, a great combo.
Edit: spelling
You thought I wouldn't notice gigachad theme phonk music.
11:48
Can someone make Arun Maini Gigachad?
Now we can safely say that nothing has improved
Really impressed how many words you used to describe a "small box" .I can t image you talking about a book ?! It should a life time !!!
6:59 …Arun dropping bars
The tech doctor 😷 has spoken it all❤... Thanks Arun and mrwhosetheboss team for this amazing tech video🔥 🇿🇲
small error, you forgot to mention that zomato aslo supports the LED delivery time feature like uber does.
Can I just say how well your video is scripted ?!
This is your first video that I’m seeing and while I absolutely love every word that’s gone into the making of this incredibly informative and slightly “sales” oriented video, I would love to see you slow down on the info for the less tech-cuated(tech educated) folks like myself 🙊
Then again, great video. I look forward to more ✨⚡️
I'm really rooting for Nothing. They've come in with a small team and almost hit bullseye from where I'm seeing it
Carl Pei is just an awesome and down to earth person, arun and carl rocked on last unboxing video. Happy for you Arun.
bet. u wobt reply ☺️
Is he the one responsible for my One Plus 8T?
@@prezlamen7906 probably not
Usual camera comparison always involve Apple but now in this video it's Google. Shows how much good of a camera they have. If they also improve the video quality it's killer! 🔥
Oh. I forgot the chip 🙂
It's a marketing strategy to compare this phone to iPhone and pixels to make it seem as if it is somewhat comparable to those. He was instructed to compare nothing phone with iPhone and pixel in the video.
He compared them because they both had similar prices and cameras, not because they’re good. He did it BECAUSE they’re similar as in NOT AS GOOD as the iPhone
@@LambdaMiscellaneous I was stuck on a game because my iPhone wouldn't let me because there was too much going on for iPhone to handle but Nothing phone 2 was able to handle it. Iphone wipes the floor with nothing phone in terms of CPU and GPU. Only dumb people can't see that this is advertisement and not a review.
@@azeemuddinkhan923 what
That’s called marketing. The phone can’t really compare to the iPhones. That’s why he spent 40% of this explaining a gimmick feature
The sound test was hilarious. Plays music so we can hear the quality and then talks right through 😂
Arun never fails to deliver!
It's unlikely but I hope that they add RGB light to the back, because I feel that would allow for so much more usefulness
12:40, yes I stopped cause I think that the deer was gonna kill me😅😅😅😂😂😂😂, it make me laugh like mad, infact I can't really describe you, just that you are so fucking incredibly awesome at what you do❤
Your reviews are getting back to their decent format. 😌 Less of the unnecessary comments.
7:45 arun, why do you have the mcdonalds app location memorized???
nice move for getting a real uber in the background mate ;) that was the byte if video
Who knows ? Maybe this phone will start being even more influential than Samsung or Google , and it may compete against Apple one day
I love this channel ❤❤
It needs to compete against Samsung which is miles better than cliche Apple.
“Has nothing improved or has nothing improved “ I like that… smooth
Btw the actual best thing about the nothing brand that i personally really liked is that they didn't go for the dirty tactics like releasing pro ultra max versions of 1 model like iphone or Samsung. They even kept the price so reasonable, they could've just made it expensive since there's only 1 version per model while other companies release 3 versions of the same god damn model
They will probably. Eventually. Just like Xiaomi nowadays.
@@eado22 They said themselves they will do that whenever they grow big enough and they have to do it. It's just how the business works on the top top end of the market functions. However they also promised to stay true to the goal, and announced a sub-brand called CMF which is where the more budget-oriented devices will be placed. So it seems like so far they're going in the right direction. Let's see!
