Regarding salt and hypertension, excess sodium causes your glycocalyx, which is on the lining of blood vessels, to malfunction. The glycocalyx regulates nitric oxide release which lowers BP. The glycocalyx and the skin can store surplus salt.

My Dr. in Canada said they don’t check fasting insulin, I have to see a naturopath for that.
