The Hulkman you demonstrated was impressive on starting not only Frankintruck but your other car as well! We will be ordering one off of Amazon soon and using your link to help you out as well! Keep the great videos coming and big thumbs up!!!!
Thanks for the video. Our 2020 Honda Fit battery is not as robust as the one in our old Civic. We don't use the car daily & the battery runs down. Got one of these Hulkman jump batteries to keep on board & was glad to see your video showing how to use it and your comment that it was still working a year on.
Thanks for your honest feedback. It helped me decide what to purchase. I'm always alone rockhounding throughout AZ and NM in the middle of nowhere and the Hulkman has gotten me out of a couple of dangerous situations.
I have two Hulkman 8.5s. They work really well. Great investment, especially if you live in an area that gets cold. If the car battery is completely dead, you may have to bypass the electronic sensors by pressing and holding both buttons to activate the unit.
That one works far better than the one I had and threw away... Might have to look at getting one myself. Few will start a car from a totally dead battery.
The Hulkman Battery Jumper is impressive, it appears that your alternator on the truck is not charging which may be the reason that the truck cut off when you disconnected the cable. On the otherhand the car charging system appears to be charging correctly.
thank you very much for your simple yet very good description of the product''''definitely going to buy one today or maybe tomorrow 😃 Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication"Leonardo Da' Vinci"
As I understand it, the battery can't put out that many amps when the battery is cold (cold as in way below freezing). The pre-heat function heats up the battery some so that it can start a car even if it is -40 F outside, it is for people who live in extreme weather conditions.
I would think that it’s a great option, however not a necessity even in those frigid temperatures since there are definitely options to warm one up before use.
I work on cars for a living and have been using lithium ion jump starters for 6 or 7 years. The most important thing is getting good contact with the clamps. The easiest way is if one person squeezes the clamps tightly onto the terminals while another person starts the car. Worst case, spend some time cleaning the terminals and possibly even the teeth on the clamps. But 9/10, if it didn’t start on the first try, it’s usually the clamp contacts.
@@PersonaN007Grata thanks. I went with the hulkman because it has very specific instructions and explanations, even on the durability of the item in time, and has the feature of the heating resistance inside which is top tier during winter.
This looks like the Gooloo gt4000, same features, same packaging, instead of the fancy packaging they could have use the money in a nice hard case. Probably the same manufacture. There are pretty good reviews on both of the units. I think is the way to go now days instead of the old big bulky heavy cinder block. Good video👍🏼
Can this be used along with a OBD2 memory saver? This is a way of retaining all of the ECU settings, radio stations, etc, when changing the car battery. I requires an additional cable that plugs into the cars OBD2 port and uses the Hulkman 12 volt (DC) outlet connector. Many battery jumpers support this.
Yes but the battery clamps are too large to fit into restricted areas such as motorcycles yet they say for motorcycles! And they offer no smaller clips!
I deliver Polaris and some of their unit don’t have batteries so I bought one of these is there a way to keep it on so I can start the units and move them
It would appear that way, but I used all the components from the 2006 Chevy 2500HD. Including the automatic headlights. The sensor is under the dash, and the headlights come on with the key. WhenI shut the truck off(under normal conditions) they stay on for ten seconds. Good observation.
@Jo Daddy's Garage : Thanks for your tests ! I know that's not recommended (on a new car), but can you test to jump start your GMC Truck just with the Hulkman plugged? With the stock battery of the car unplugged... Thanks.
one thing i noticed is when you set up an account it defaults to China as your phone dialing prefix. That told me all meed to know. I have no problems with my old JC660 after all these years. Maybe nice to send one of these to my sister as most don't like carrying the traditional Jump Boxes as it makes you look toxic.....
Great review! I'm amazed at how little of it's power is used to start the car. Just bought one for my boat, I haven't needed to use it yet but it seems to be extremely well designed.
at least you were honest and said it was provided for free. lots of reviewers never mention this.

I was just at the lake by myself and your video saved me with the orange 2 warning explanation. Thank you!

I just picked one up. Thanks for the review. 5:59 definitely SOS.
Great video. That thing is a Hulk .Lots of useful things to do with it. I can not believe it started Frankentruck from completely dead .
Twice.
That is one heck of a great thing.I am going to order one as soon as their website opens. It is a life saver
I have one similar to that and I've jumped people's cars at gas stations numerous times, the one you have looks like a good one.

I purchased a similar item a few years back. The one I purchased works well. It seems these little jump packs are all over the place now.
thank you very much for your simple yet very good description of the product''''definitely going to buy one today or maybe tomorrow 😃

Great 👍 video I just got mine today highly recommended 👍👍👍
Thank you so much sir ... and I will buy for my Honda also from Portugal with friendship 😉👍🇵🇹
Love your honesty!
That looks like a nice product. I don't need the pre-heat function of the S model so the 99 dollar regular version is now on my Amazon wish list

Frankentruck startup was very impressive

since you have experience in the field, between the Gooloo and the Hulkman 85s what would you recommend?
@@Staples-King They’re both good quality jumpers.

It's a HULK jump pack for sure👍💯👊
Great review, keep doing those videos. Love it
Great review sir. 👍🏼
Very nice
Nice extensive video. Thanks!

Hulkman looks rigid than gooloo... Great design look for hulkman
Hulkman is the best jump box they make hands down...

I can’t say for sure.
Yes but the battery clamps are too large to fit into restricted areas such as motorcycles yet they say for motorcycles! And they offer no smaller clips!
85S model has the pre-heat, 85/65 models do not as I understand it.
No hablo inglés. Pero las imágenes son muy buenas a serca de éste arrancador. Ya tengo uno
Gracias. Me alegro de que haya ayudado.
Hi! How is this holding up after almost a year? Thanks!
I've used it a few times. It works great.
I deliver Polaris and some of their unit don’t have batteries so I bought one of these is there a way to keep it on so I can start the units and move them
Good question. I think it stays on as long as it is connected.
Looked like your head lights were left on, on frankintruck.

Hmm... Not sure that's recommended.
Learn from my mistakes, don’t store it in with your spare tire. If I had the time I could tell you a story that would make you laugh
Will there be a livestream today?
Sorry. No. I'm headed to Kentucky.

hey! How does this hold up to today?
I've used it several times. Even this past week. Still amazing.
@@JoDaddysGarage alright thanks! I may wait till black Friday to see if I can get a discount lol
@@JoDaddysGarage Thank you!! do you know how many cars it can jump on a charge?
Why ppl always make videos without reading the instructions instead looking clueless in their video then having to go read the instructions 🤔😒
Share with all your friends to show how dumb I am...
I’m “sure”the first thing you do is “read the instructions” when you open up a new tool or anything electrical. 🙄
hi not to bad work well barry
I just ordered one from Amazon $99.00
The "S" model he tested is $199.00
Why didn't you read the instructions first?
Who does that?
Only bad thing no storage case
Instructions are on the back.
