Hey man , few months back your vid helped me help my brother decide on an exhaust, we went with this one. Now I picked up a Fxt myself as well. I found ur post on the forester forum but its so complicated to reply on that thing lol, anyways thanks for the vid - subscribed
#$@# Loud truck! hahaha. That was hilarious! Exhaust looks beautiful and digging the white paint on the Forester. I have yet to see a white 14-15 Forester in person!
almost stock sounding man.. i love it. you almost changed my entire view on catbacks.. exactly what i wanted.. way bigger pipes with better flow, without the noise... dang...
Very nice video Brandon, Helped me decide to get one of this to my SJ XT 2015! I was worried about cabin sound but it does not sound "too much heavy", guess it makes less internal noise than a muffle delete... the one you bought would be part # HS08SW4GT3 ? Thanks!
I just bought a 2016 XT today. I really wanted it in white, but the white one they had in stock was apparently sold last week. So I went with my second choice, silver. It actually looks much better in person. Did installing this exhaust void the warranty?
for a turbo i wouldve done the intake instead of an exhaust, because the energy it takes the exhaust to make a loud noise is used to power the wheels instead. no growl is comin out of that turbo dude
Reducing the back pressure with a more open exhaust allows the turbo to spool up faster and build boost quicker - resetting the ECU by disconnecting the battery after an exhaust upgrade, using higher octane gas, and driving the car hard afterwards will re-train the ECU to give you more power by giving you more advanced ignition timing and more fuel. An intake can help, but the exhaust comes first. I used to do this for a living thru SubaruPlanet.com before I retired - had a 500hp Impreza RS.
+Brandon Collins honestly ive got a 15xtp and ibe been considering going springs and suspension upgrades instead of this route as it doesn't seem to have a huge boost but keep us updated and you could sway my opinion.
it's going to be difficult to hear much of anything off of that a gym simply because the compression ratio is kind of a low compression ratio for 2.5 or the 2.2 evil at the turbo there's just not a lot of compression ratio the higher the compression ratio the ladders going to end up being I know because that's all I do for a living working on exhaust doesn't matter what kind of Muffler you have on it's all comes down to one thing the compression ratio
Great to see videos with actual music being played. Refreshing that is.

Awesome! Glad I could help. :)
Awesome exhaust man I have a 2013 FXT with an N1, totally transforms the car profile
looks great!! I ended up putting a nameless muffler delete on my fxt. wish the fa20s where a little louder, but now AS loud as the ej motors, subbed!
Well done man! Good luck to you and your car!
👍 Got this job tomorrow.
Great video and gorgeous pipes.

sweet, always wanted to find a 2015 forester XT modding channel. I have one. its stock. (also have 2015 wrx, not stock.)
hmm.. couldn't you use the proper adapter flange so you could still utilize your stock donut gasket?
dang that sounds killer.... makes me want one for both my Subarus.

I gotta get one.... but it would be a lot louder on my WRX with my j-pipe.
had to share this video on my Facebook page.. wish i had found this sooner..
great job...just wonder why not lift the rear of car..ramps?..jack stands?
How did you make that invidia tip not stick out?... That's the look I like. Is there a modification you did to make it flush in the bumper?
Ahhh not too loud but has a nice tone to it!
Love the Forester, Brandon! What made you buy the Forester instead of the other Subarus?
Insurance probably
Semper Fi, sweet ride bro.
McCarran BLVD? Very clean and sounds good too..
So I installed my q300 and the tips stick out about 1 inch. They aren't flush like yours.... did you have the same issue?
Great vid. Looks and sounds spectacular. Does Invidia recommend torquing the bolts to a certain spec?
bc67 they didn't say. I just used a torque chart that I have in my garage.

Great vid! What other stuff have you done to you FXT? I bought a 2014 last month and want to get some goodies on it.
scott1hn Not too much. Mostly aesthetic stuff. I'll post videos as I add things.
That's the sickest vehicle... I want one. What's the overall estimated price on it?

+Jonathan Marquise I have no Idea. I kept the stock exhaust just incase. I can always put it back on if need be.
I think the nameless one looks and sound better
thumbed and subbed for more fxt vids!
Hey Brandon, I have a 2015 XT... I see that it is a Q300 Model. but , What is the Specific Part # on that System?????
i wonder how this is for long road trips of 3-5 hours? will it be noisy and annoying? this is driving about 70-75 miles per hour on the highway.
Not any louder than any other AWD with low profile tires already is. :) I've driven it around the country a number of times.

Hey...that looks an awful lot like NW Reno. Makes me want to upgrade my exhaust on my new WRX that I won't even have until next week.
Looks good, sounds good, but I would've rather bought a Cobb Accessport instead.
+Walter Black
Why not both?
do you need the grimspeed downpipe?
Soccer dad!! lol I will trade in my wrx if I ever have kids.
+Russell Siete my wife drives a 14 forester xt. and i just got a 16 wrx. lol......all about that FA20DIT life bro~
+Yuelin Fan I hear you. I have a 2016 wrx.
i got 2017 wrx and after 8 months i trade with forester xt,, smooth driving less stress.plus wife can drive my forester
Why didn't you lift it on jack stands 😂? Struggled more than you had to
Hi there. Did you have to flash the ECU after the install?
do u have an intake?
What's the name of the song at the beginning?
DevilZ s204 not sure. Just a random royalty free song
Nice
Was it even worth it?
leunam Arrap So far yes. After I flash it, it for sure will!
+Brandon Collins honestly ive got a 15xtp and ibe been considering going springs and suspension upgrades instead of this route as it doesn't seem to have a huge boost but keep us updated and you could sway my opinion.
Now it sounds like a stock wrx..hehe
That's a bit too soft for my taste. Which other brands have a more boxer sound?
han666 Subarus with UEL headers
4:28 Then why spend the money for it then? To appease other people as you drive by?
Uhh I think remark or nameless would sound much better

Awesome! Come check out my 2014 XT
you look bummed man. down pipe up pipe and a flash should wake it up.
But it's a catback on a CVT
