The Incident - Te Araroa 24/25 Day 56

Two of our crew on the canoes went into a sweeper tree in the river
We both of the girls were stuck under water for some time but luckily both survived
It took about 1 hour to get the canoe out of the tree and they lost the lids of the barrels and some other items nothing to bad.
We all were shaken by this event but got though it and continued down the river
