Just bought a launch pro and I love it. My first time ever getting a launch monitor and it was super easy to set up and use. Jock emailed me back right away and helped me through the entire purchasing process. SUPER helpful. Thanks guys!
Can you do a tutorial on the process of buying and getting the subscriptions. Its a bit overwhelming going from Bushnell or play better to foresight. How do ik I'm buying the gold package, all I see is FX play etc.
Too bad for those sub fees.. I'll stick with my Mevo+ as I have all the club data without stickers for a fixed cost. You should add a section about included or optional Software as it's what makes the biggest difference when practicing. FS Golf PC for example allows me to have multiple cameras and views and allows me to focus on practice. Does foresight provide all this too? I assume it does but nobody covers those feature in reviews it seems.
i have both the gc2 and mevo + and love the mevo. im on gspro and the putting for gc2 is flawless but think the mevo is more accurate for ball data. the subs are hard to swallow for the BLP.
Fellow lefty here. Been using the Mevo+ for indoor practice and sim play. Does the BLP or units that stand next to you allow you to change over from left handed player to right handed player easily - or do you need to recalibrate it again? Trying to see if I could do my sim league with GSPro with the BLP. TIA!
Hey Johnathon, after having used both I can say i've just decided to go with the MEVO+ when friends are over, or the APOGEE. We find the extra data the MEVO+ offers and the ease of use is more fun to use over the BLP. You can use play out hole in GSPRO and just move it across pretty easy with the BLP
@johnathonwoolsey8163 that’s a hard choice, if I was having people over regularly I would keep the Mevo plus, I think if your goal is the best possible experience for everyone Mevo+ with the pro package is the way to go. If I only played by myself I would probably go BLP.
I am 66 disabled and was playing with Garmin R10 in my garage. I loved it till it stopped charging after 10 months. How is playing on the courses with BLP? How was it setting it out of the box? Can I just use it on my I-Phone? About stickers, I only want to warm-up and play on the courses.
Hey Doc! it is the easiest device to set up and use after the initial set up (which is also very easy.) Iphone can be used with the range and it will come with about 25 courses with the gold package. it is an amazing device.
Yup! You can hook up to a tv or iPads but if you’re going that route I would recommend the Mevo+ as it allows your to play courses this way while the Bushnell does not
I haven't used the OG but I didn't find club speed to be reliable on the SkyTrak+. I do think it is something that is nice to have and would be missed but I think the upgrade in accuracy and performance would outweigh that.
I do think the SkyTrak+ is more accurate than you think so I wouldn't say it BLOWS it away. But this is probably the option I would lean toward as well.
The BLP/GC3 absolutely blows anything else away except for trackman and quad. I’ve used the others and it’s just not as accurate at higher ball speeds. I use my GC3 to practice, prep for tournaments and have used it on the course and the numbers are always dead on. I agree with the left vs right players being a pain and the only other knock on foresight devices is the low spin issue. Distance is really overestimated when spin gets below 1800.
If you don’t care about the simulation part aka playing courses and you’re just using it to improve your swing would you even need a subscription? Also one thing I don’t like about the mevo+ is that I can’t use it on the course to practice because it takes forever to set up
As long as you're okay with viewing the numbers on the device. Without the subscription you CANNOT hook it up to an iPad or external device and use software to view your shots.
I am a little confused on the subscription fees. Are they mandatory? Can you buy the Ball Data BLP and then just separately purchase GS Pro? New to simulators. Getting ready to build
I would buy Bushnell launch pro, "Ball information only, for $2,000" If it were able to provide driving range display on mobile device. Like Skytrak. No subcription fees. (Or on personal computer if need be)

Will the BLP be possible to connect wirelessly from the garage to the gaming PC in basement and then have the PC stream to a large TV in the garage?

Thanks for the comment Cal! I'm glad you are liking it!

Hey! There is only one package now! It will prompt you on the device to buy the golf and that is the only package available!
I’m an amateur golfer and all of my ball flights are low, even when hitting a pitching wedge. Do you think the bushnell will have issues?

Depends what you value.

@@GolfBusters appreciate the quick response. Would you keep the Mevo+ vs upgrading to the BLP?

@@GolfBusterswhy. Would you choose the BLP if it was just you?
Great review 👏🏼⛳️
Thanks Mitch!

tyvm I appreciate the feedback. Its either BLP or SkyTrak. I am leaning to BLP. @@GolfBusters
@DocJBurns both are great! Use our links if you can 👍 no worries if not!
Are you able to use it without the projector and just hit into a net and get the data on a tv next to you?
Yup! You can hook up to a tv or iPads but if you’re going that route I would recommend the Mevo+ as it allows your to play courses this way while the Bushnell does not
@golfbuster BLP is ran wirelessly through a gaming PC when using FSX or GSPro, correct?
Yup, I have a wifi dongle that I connect mine too
Coming from Skytrak OG, would I miss club speed metrics if I stick with ball only model?
I haven't used the OG but I didn't find club speed to be reliable on the SkyTrak+. I do think it is something that is nice to have and would be missed but I think the upgrade in accuracy and performance would outweigh that.
Can you use the BLP at the range just for ball data with no subscription?
You can but it doesn't give backspin! Carry will show up!
The ball data model absolutely blows away SkyTrak for about the same $$. For the amateur golfer, BLP/GC3 is awesome.
I do think the SkyTrak+ is more accurate than you think so I wouldn't say it BLOWS it away. But this is probably the option I would lean toward as well.

Do you have to pay the subscription to use the driving range?
I believe so
How difficult is it to switch back and forth between righty and lefty? I'm a lefty but most people I'll be playing with are righty.
If you use gspro not that bad but I would recommend the Mevo+ if you’re playing with them a lot
is that a uneekor mounted above your hitting area?
disregard, i just saw your other vids.
I need a launch monitor upgrade, this could be a option
What’s your recommended launch monitor to use with an iPad?
I would say mevo+ or skytrak+!
@@GolfBusters the research never stops. Thank you, sir🤙🏼
Why not the BLP out of curiosity?
Might be a dumb question but can you plug in the BLP to an iPad so you don’t have to worry about it disconnecting via wifi
I don’t believe so, I haven’t had any disconnection issues with the BLP if that helps
@@GolfBusters that does help thanks. Been in the fence between BLP and full swing
@jordancalanchini3496 I would go blp for sure.

No the golf is required unfortunately :(
There is no ones reviews that I trust less than this guy
Always keeping it honest for the people
I would buy Bushnell launch pro,
"Ball information only, for $2,000"
If it were able to provide driving range display on mobile device.
Like Skytrak. No subcription fees.
(Or on personal computer if need be)
Do you get driving range feature
That can be displayed on mobile device, if you just buy ball data version?
I believe you do, there is a mobile app!
So can you not just buy the $2000 unit and only run GsPro?
Great question, no you need the gold package.
@@GolfBusters Thank you vm.
Does it not work for lefties?
You have to pick it up and move it every shot/hole depending on what program you have.
I use white tees no problem
They may work good, I just know it’s generally recommended to not use light color tees with infrared lms!

first to like
OG
If I knew you were lefty, I would have never clicked on the video.
That’s leftist
