Building our sim this week. Will run MLM and BLP concurrently, got 20 percent off from TGJ Broken Tee Membership so only 2700 plus 500 year, BLP is cheaper than GC3 for almost 10 years and I doubt either will work or be relevant in 10 years. MLM with ipad is killer with swing vision rear and side camera playback for each shot saved to the data. It just doesn’t do chipping good or putting at all, hence BLP. GSPRO totally worth another 250 year, those graphics are great. Appreciate you sharing, looks like I will need to run a chase for power and USB to BLP as wifi is unreliable
Hi thanks ...considering moving away from Skytrack to GC3. Unless I missed it I didn't see you take the log on from the main menu ? Currently I have an GSPRO icon on my desk top ...Click and then I have to go through some majic to get Skytrack to interface with GSPRO, I am assuming that isnt needed with the GC3 ? Could you take me through the full start up process from the main menu ? Thanks very much
Correct, GC3 is an official connection. Feel free to support the channel and get the lowest price using my partner link below. Thanks for watching! shopindoorgolf.com/products/foresight-sports-gc3-launch-monitor?aff=277
It’s nice software for sure. Man there are so many courses that is really tough. There is one called Mattaponi that is fun and well designed I like, check it out for sure.
Really disappointed with the move away from open api. As part of the update we lost face to path, which was never supported by Foresight but was calculated via GSPro. Was a big reason to use gspro over fsx 😢
It was super inaccurate. I’ve tested it. It was right maybe 10% of the time(within 1’). 30% it was within 3’. And 60% is was completely wrong and not even close. Gspro wasn’t calculating it. The maker of that connector app did.
I don’t think people for the most part would miss calculated club data. Foresight I’m sure doesn’t want to show data they are not providing which could be misleading to users. Hope that makes sense.
Can you connect GC3/BLP wirelessly ( Bluetooth) to your PC and play GSPro? I want to build a gaming PC but it would be in my office above the garage so it would have to be wireless and I can stream to my garage
I just put inside the sim if it is minor, but if it is a decent break I like aiming at the aim point and putting straight, it feels more like I would be lined up to the aim point outside.
I’ve got GSPro with SkyTrak+. I’m thinking about buying a different launch monitor, maybe BLP or Eye Mini. Any idea if I’ll be able to use my current license wit a different monitor?
Since Skytrak is not officially supported with GSPRO you should have an open API license. That would need to be converted after your purchase. GSPRO does have a converter tool, but it will depend on which you go with.
If we buy through you do you work with a financing company? Not ready to buy yet, maybe next year, and hoping to get the setup (sigpro 12 putting/insert, enclosure, etc…) for cash but will likely have to finance the unit (looking at GC3).
Do you think they will ever bring back the the fully unlocked price for the BLP. I just got mine about a month ago and was waiting to finish out my free gold trial before purchasing it but they took it away before I got the chance to😅
I really do not, I think it was never planned on being there and they reacted too quickly and essentially made them the same product that became confusing. The point they want is GC3 is the one price model and BLP is the subscription based approach. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for watching!
Does the gc3 require annual fees to connect to gs pro? I already own gs pro lifetime - and want an accurate sensor, but dont want an annual fee... is the club data required to get accurate sensor data?
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Hmmm - i thought you didn't need Gold for the GC3 - was that not the point of the higher MSRP (vs subsidized via subscription BLP)? That changes my math a bit
@@marcuszettergren8885 I talked to the distributor and they can sell you gc3, but not BLP. I think it just has to do with licensing. Feel free to email me to get the price. a98cr125@gmail.com
It is not the unit really, I mean most wifi is just shaky in general. I do not use wifi for my PC's even as the performance is not nearly as good and can time out or have intermittent performance issues, and I have really good wifi. USB is just a no brainer connection. Thanks for watching!

Yeah no reason not to do usb it’s just so easy and bullet proof. Thanks for watching!

Great video! GS Pro is my favorite software.

Very helpful. Thanks ! I’m gonna sign up for GSPRO looks Epic. I’m in Ohio . What’s your favorite course on GSPRO?

Do you find it necessary to change the line for the putting or just aim where you think the break is from your hitting zone???

Is there any advantage connecting the BLP to your computer via Ethernet cable vs USB? Thanks Jay!
Not imo. I only use USB

@@GolfSimulatorVideos Thank you! Makes perfect sense, I just wanted to hear your opinion because I feel you have more knowledge on the subject.
@@Tony_prince Glad that helped. I appreciate you watching and commenting the question!
What about the general penalty for grounding your club in a bunker?
Hahaha. Would be fun to play that way.
so you need a gold sub $499/yr plus the gapro yearly sub? so you are close to $800-1000/ a year in subscriptions?
Is there still a lifetime membership available for GSPro and bushnell/foresight?
I’m not sure what all you are referring to.
Does the gc3 require annual fees to connect to gs pro? I already own gs pro lifetime - and want an accurate sensor, but dont want an annual fee... is the club data required to get accurate sensor data?
No, you just buy the normal GSPRO subscription through Foresight vs direct that’s all. Same price. Thanks for watching!
Do you need foresight gold subscription in order to use Gspro
Yes, Gold is required for 3rd party software connections.

I just wish it was possible to buy the gear here. Well, the GC3 is 5 times the price of BLP here, and BLP isn't available here. Geo locked.
Where are you located?
@@GolfSimulatorVideos Norway, sir. Thanks for answering!
@@marcuszettergren8885I will look into that region, must be a licensing issue or something.

They removed The Old Course at St Andrews
Do you own a license for it? If so just reach out to support.
GC3/BLP has horrible wifi, USB if always best
