This channel is blowin' up! Keep up the good work! I have a Linkin Park request: "Hands Held High". Probably Mike Shinoda's best rapping ever, and a real good message, too.
This was a heartbreaking time for all of us Queenies . He has the beard to hide the Kaposi Sarcoma caused by the Aids virus. This man was the bravest , most incredible ,Beautiful soul that ever lived
Freddie was really sick here, notice he doesn't move too much and has on layers of clothes, but still sang with such power til the end. He had lesions on his neck so the beard hides them.
This is so emotional knowing that Freddie was so sick and wanted to leave his fans with something to remember him by. Fighting to the end. RIP dear Freddie you are truly loved and missed❤
We all lost Freddie on November 24th 1991. This performance was getting close to the end of his time. Even with all of the pain he was in, he still gave it 100% . He left us with so much incredible music, a true legend 🙏❤️
I’m an ‘oldie’.. Queen Fan and I so enjoy seeing youngsters finding all (ALL) the layers of Queen. Their 70s stuff is so varied, and so amazing… 80s is even better! This song is very emotional for those of us who love Freddie… it was clear he was beginning to show his illness, and for those of us who were aware of what was going on in the 80s with HIV/AIDS - we knew.. we just knew! While their videos are great.. their live performances are always the best; unfortunately Freddie had stopped performing live by this time, so you’ll only be able to watch vids of their late 80s songs. Also, please be sure to take a look at Freddie’s duets with Montserrat Cabella, you won’t be disappointed.
Yes.. oldie here, too... in love with Brian May from the age of 15...sadly, that did not really work out (lol).. but I did have the privilege to see the band three times.. 1978-1980... and they are some precious memories... also, YES.. with Montsy! amazing.. my favorite is "How can I go on"..
Oldie here, as well. My heart is so full seeing the younger generation realizing the magic and master that was Freddie and Queen. No one will EVER come close to the brilliance of our Freddie.❤
Your just getting started with queen keep going there catalog is huge! They have had so much influence on so many bands they were so far ahead of there time the music is timeless and will go on forever. FREDDIE WAS THE GREASTEST FRONT OF ALL TIME THERE WIL NEVER BE ANOTHER FREDDIE. WELCOME TO PLANET QUEEN R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU!
THANK YOU for starting my day out right with Freddie, Hon! …This is actually my favorite era of Queen music - their last two albums are my favorites … As Freddie’s health started declining, the other guys in the band truly rallied around him to be supportive/protect him from the (disgusting, blood-sucking) media as much as possible. Freddie had said he just wanted to make as much music as possible with the time he had left, so that’s what they all did. They became closer (which was reflected in the cover picture for The Miracle album, that image of all four of their heads/faces fused into one)… Roger & Brian have said that they seemed to come back to their musical roots. And Freddie - as often happens when someone is facing their own mortality - had a huge burst of creativity in his song writing.
Tie Your Mother Down, studio version, from the 1976 album called A Day At The Races. This album followed their breakout album called A Night At The Opera which spawned two singles including their biggest hit called Bohemian Rhapsody😮😊!
Another great rock song from Queen. I'd like to see and hear Inuendo, Dragon Attack, or In My Defence, thank you ❤❤all great Freddie,Queen!!!! Freddie Forever❤❤❤❤❤ , queen in my defense
Brian wrote this great song. Freddie already had AIDS at this point and he had dark marks on his face so he grew a beard to cover them. Also he was taking meds that made his face a bit swollen. Still killing those vocals though. Yes that is Brian singing those little solo bits.
Brian May wrote this song. It was at the start of his relationship with Anita, his wife. When she first experienced his life and dedication to music she turned to him and said, “I w ant it all.”
Love your reactions. Queen is a phenomenally, talented and brilliant band. They were always changing it up and around so many different kinds of songs and 70 different genres. There’s so much more for you to hear. Try millionairess waltz in Barcelona with Montserrat Caballe. You will be blown away.
You have to listen to Freddie Mercury singing opera with Montserrat Caballe RIP. They do a few songs together. Song Barcelona live at an open air festival in the city to mark the Olympic flag arrival for the 1992 Olympics. They had a collaborative album of the same name in 1987. He was truly magnificent as was she.
I enjoy your reactions. I hope, somebody told you that Queen is still touring. Since 11 years they have had a new singer, Adam Lambert. He is not Freddie, and he doesn`t try to be Freddie, but he also has a really beautiful and unlimited voice. I saw them last year in Cologne, it was great! Especially, because Brian May and Roger Taylor seem so happy to be baack on stage.
I’m going to make 2 suggestions for you just to show you how versatile Freddie & Queen were. “Dragon Attack” live In Montreal - so damn funky you won’t believe it, and “Barcelona” live with Montserrat Caballe - Opera! I guarantee it will blow your mind 💣🤯
He's giving it all with his arms and voice. Please do Play the Game live at Milton Keynes and also the official video for this song. I love both but he sings it very differently.
Greetinga from germany . I`m coming to the lasr half of my life and I`ve made it through my life , which was really hard at times , because of Queen `s music .
If you want to hear the band truly play an angry song but brilliant too try Death on Two Legs about their former music manager who at the beginning of their career had Queen under a contract in which he was getting all their money. When the bass player John wanted to buy a house for he and his new wife, after years of hit songs and tours, Sheffield declined to give more money to the band. Freddie wrote a song that was venomous and the whole band played this song to creatively exorcise their anger at Sheffield’s stinginess and trickery. That song will teach you new ways to call out an enemy without using a single curse word. Musically and lyrically it is a Queen masterpiece…one of many of course. ❤
This was the end Freddie had full blown Aids and was dying at this point he was wearing makeup and grew the scruffy beard to hide the lesions on his face. We lost him in November of ‘91; He knew he was in the count down and he told the guys to bring him anything and he would record it. He literally pushed himself right up until the end. Mother Love was the song they were recording when he died and later Brian finished it and the lads released it.
Great reaction! Me encanta cuando escuchan Queen por primera vez 🥰❤💪💪💪 Other Queen Suggestions: - Innuendo (a very deep song) - Another one bites the dust (very rhythmic) - Somebody to love /official video (amazing voices) - I want to break free - Under pressure - We are the champions - Save me - A kind of magic - You´re my best friend - Its a hard life - Breakthru ¡Saludos, desde Argentina!

Freddie was getting pretty sick when this filmed, he grew the beard to hide the lesions on his neck. The last song he did, was These are the Days of our Lives bout month before he passed away in April of 92
Please do recommend to your friends that they listen to Queen's music if you enjoy them. The greatest tribute is that their music is discovered by a new generation of young people.

yes. such a sad time.
It’s so painful to watch him knowing what he was suffering from.. Never met anyone as brave as Freddie 😢 My heart hurts

He knew he was dying but refused to stop because his fans wanted to hear from him!

Freddie was so ill by this time but his voice was golden. ❤
Yep - a rocker written by Brian May... Freddie was sadly failing here.. but his voice NEVER failed... I appreciate your reaction...

Innuendo is also a classic.
Poor Freddie - so beautiful and talented 😢RIP
despite being so sick, Freddie was an entertainer to the end!
This makes me cry. Still love you Freddie
I’m so glad at 22 you know great music. Freddie was magical ♥️ so incredibly missed and loved 💔
Half of his foot was gone at this time , he’s was in agony, but never , ever complained.
I never heard he had lost his foot. Brave, beautiful man.
Such a sad time for Queen fans but it's the hardest hitting song they ever made!
Great❤ listen to The Show Must Go On 💪 Freddie the bravest! ❤
I love this song, it’s my favorite, even if it was a sad time. Miss you Freddie ❤

Freddie was always the showman and with or with out makeup, stole the show every single time!
He was standing by the mic because his leg was giving him so much pain it was hard for him to move around. He was so sick here.
You absolutely must watch their live concert at Wembley (1986) and especially their song "Under pressure"
Greetings from France
