- Hi love bugs! I wanted to share with you all a little of the requirements that we had to go through in order to be able to get married through the Catholic Church! I went through and explained them for the most part. If you have any questions please feel free to ask! Again, I am not a religious sister or a priest of any sort. I am just a Catholic trying to help other Catholic's who are discerning marriage. I hope that this may help those who may have not heard of the process and in hopes that you may consider getting married through the Catholic Church! I promise you it is not hard! If we could do it, so can you!

Do I need to have my baptize I didn’t got baptized I didn’t complete it is it necessary to get marry on church or some churches don’t required baptized

Hi Alberto Monzon! that’s a really big amount! For us being members, they did gave us a discount. But it was for the usage of the building, electricity, and so on. That’s a really good question though! I believe Pope Francis even mentioned how since it’s a Holy sacrament we shouldn’t have to pay. But I guess every parish is different?
It’s all 4 sacraments . Baptism confession communion and confirmation . Also as long as one is a confirmed Catholic you can marry a baptized Christian - I’m currently going through confirmation quickly to start 6 months of precana
I lost my papers from when I got baptized but I didn’t do my first communion after my dad split with my mom what will happen then ?

You can actually request a copy of the certificate from the church that you were baptized at. I had to do this for my confirmation certificate.
I broke up with my catholic girlfriend because of none of what was required to get married in the catholic church. Best move I ever made.

Nataly Rosales hi Nataly! The church would probably ask of you to take RCIA classes (or in Spanish RICA) to receive your confirmation ☺️

Is marriage required for Catholics?
Nobody has to get married, it’s considered a vocation you are called to. But if you do it does need to be done within the church to be valid.
