That was the rule before Vatican II. After Vatican II it is either permitted, or no one is following the rule.

Yes! True! The couple looked really really sweet. But the sweet couple are here to seek the blessing of God and so the focus SHOULD BE GOD and not the couple. Vatican II did not do things wright all the time or at least its effects are not God-centered enough, as we see.

No. There actually should only be one piece played for the procession. This wedding screams it’s all about me and not about the sacrament of matrimony. I suspect a very large donation was given to the parish and the pastor bowed to their every desire.
