I feel you. Yesterday I was working on my rig for three hours to optimize cable management, seat position and the height of my triple monitors. This made me sweat more than sim racing! 😅
Sim rig space constraints… ain’t that the life… cheers! So happy I got the P1X pro attached monitor mount…. Whew. Inversion is a must for me, it relives a lot of the pain and discomfort this older guy feels vs. floor mounted. I no longer feel as much control when bottom mounted. I only run two pedals, tho. Retired from socks ages ago.
Should have gotten the P2000s to compare to the Sprints Edit: I made this comment before watching the entire video. Now that I see what you went through, the P1000s are just fine lmao 😂😂
If you want would def get the spring kit. Massively great. I do something weird. I use two springs and 1 elastomer at the bottom isntwad of a spacer. Yes its a tighter fit but works well. Many ive talked to are now using them that way. Amazing feeling. Has that little bit of mush you want but great feedback with the push back from force. The p1000s changes my consistency and lap times unlike any other pedals before it. So good! Inversion kits are amazing. Also yes hardware can make you faster if you gel with it and it does what you want it to do. This ain't the early 2000s or mid 10s it's 2024 hardware can make a difference. Welcome 2025! Yes you can be fast in anything even if you have to find little loopholes or drive different to get that speed. Sometimes it's just not as fun that way though or comfortable. Btw those pins. You can push in all the way to the big round part and thwy will stop moving dude. Just gotta use some pressure they will pop around the bigger opening and stop moving around. They send them loose for adjustments to make to easier to get off until dialed in lol. Push hard on those little metal pins that go in the height and or angle adjustment and yeah you will pop em in not just to the middle part how it comes.
I use 1 spring and 4 elastomers... the tuning kit is highly recommended. Also you can buy a longer accelerator pedal plate that is much better suited for heel to toe
@@rogerdiz3520 i have the spring kit etc. I use 1 blue elastomer on the bottom and now I use the red spring and blue spring. So I use the elastomer in place of a spacer. Its a tighter fit but it works with that initial press makes it slightly spongier but not much and really helps me with that pre load feeling when I tighten the preload down. Idk I've found it works great. Even since I posted it up on youtube In a comment and on facebook/reddit so many have tried it and loved it. But yeah all preference! I started with the black elastomer, red spring and yellow. Now the gray elastomer/blue depending on what material you like most. Blue elastomer, red spring, spacer, blue spring, spacer.
@@rogerdiz3520 also yeah the long throttle looks nice. I may snag it one day. As for now I'm doing fine with the stock throttle. I do think the longer throttle even if not heel toeing is worth getting for most. Lol
Last week I worked on my rig, I just wanted to mount the PC stand, nothing more :D Then I adjusted everything again and screwed it fresh. Working time about 7 hours. If you think you can just fit new pedals and that's it, I have to disappoint you, haha :D I so feel you, haha :D
So wait... at this point you don't have anything left on your rig that's from Fanatec, right? And the last thing that was bolted on was the Fanatec CSL pedal heel plate out of all things
The longer throttle pedal will be longer in all the wrong places for you. What you need is to angle the throttle pedal face more so it sticks out and you can hit it despite the heel rest.
@@Road2Racer Nah, it's not that you've mislead anyone, it's just that you come across so professional. In fact, putting out your stream with your struggles made you more relatable to the rest of us. While pushing on the brake: "oh, give me a break." Peak comedy.

Just found your channel, been looking at buying a rig lately, your content is great.
Also, Second Stage Turbine is by far my favorite CC material!
I see you with the Seahaven record on the wall back there. Let's go!
Im always blown away when people call that out. It's an amazing record.

Old school Beatie boys style rap. Back when rap was worth while listing too.

Really enjoying them! I hope you get a pair someday soon

Bro coheeed. you really gonna wish you had that impact guy and Allen keys.
Sounded like the Jetsons crashed
A box of rubbers... 😂. Well, when you have a handbrake, you're going to need them!
for the heal toe you can try just rolling your ankle and blip with side of foot.
Use the standerd clutch spring on the accelerator much better
you need them to send you the DH8X to get rid of the thrustmaster shifter. its really needed bro.. world will change.
Coming soon!

This is a good point. I see what i can do
you have the PC on the floor , ON a carpet ? dang , dont think i wanna know how it looks inside :P
There is a piece of wood under it! Still grabs a lot of dust, though. Gotta clean it often.
wouldnt it be easier just to drill a hole into the wall and lets the clutch rod push in ? you can fix the wall very easily.
Considered it, but the adjustments i made were well overdue. Also, I found out the power cable comes out there as well.
Y no shoes? Need some sim driving shoes? Lol
Socks are cozy. I'm a cozy racer.
Not a pro😢
It's like Santa's a lie

Just rip out the closet
Crossed my mind. But I need it for storage 😩
haha same idea. I told him to cut a spot out for the pedals to slide into the closet.
