Great video thanks! You probably figured it out already but there is a preview button on the app that allows you to see the borders so you can centre your engravings.
Your doing Great! I have one myself and you need to use your preview to place it centered and you can also move it on your phone screen.. Use the little circle ⭕️ and scroll to the right and it will outline exactly where you want it placed…

I’ve got one of these lasers Use the ruler to measure your mm against what your lasering then enter your sizes Also you need to preview before you laser which shows you a box where it’s going to do it so you can move your piece around to line it up perfect

@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 yeah it takes some practice, I’m still getting used to it , I try and crop any unnecessary space around what I’m engraving so I know that the preview box is gonna be a pretty accurate guide as there’s no blank space around it from the image
That's what I was gonna ask. Does it show where to place the various items for centering so you won't play the guessing game...but you answered it for me... I could use something quick and easy like this.
Now I have to add that to my wish list! 😆 Thank you for sharing another wonderful new video on a really cool unit. It may be a little pricey but more affordable to me than the Glowforge at this time. ;-)

Hi Katrina! Loved your video. It is so informative. I got 2 questions if you don't mind. Which settings did you use to engrave on leather name tags? Second question, did you try to engrave on faux leather?
Think you should have done your homework before telling people you don’t really have enough knowledge of this type of product to be advising others. Samples are a mess not centred etc. Just saying that’s all my love ❤

There’s Also this other laser engraver looks like a mini glowforge and cost way less. Called the m1 tool or something. Look it up. It looks great
