With the candle the open end is the bottom. Feed the wick through the mold. That way it will be flat at the bottom and round on top. Also save extra wax to the side to add more as it gets hard to avoid the dipping.

You can also do the dipping with the container of water and use oil based paint. It comes in tubes.

You may not think so Liz but these are made with a lot of skills.😂 They are not Dollar Tree alone. Most people don't have a room full of $10.00 spray paints. I do watch your DIY videos and miss the resources you have in the West. I so miss living there. I'm in Kansas. Go to the beach for me. God has blessed you with great talent and beauty. ❤
She’s trying to give inspiration
I looked at the prices where she was choosing the 3 blue spray paints and it seemed the price said $5.92. I think that was Walmart or Hobby Lobby. Liz can you tell us? Also, where you used two layers of spray paint i wonder if it would be more economical for you to prime first-paint primer is much more economical than spray paint. Then maybe you would need to do only one coat of spray paint.
I can't choose which project I like best. You did a great job on all of them! Thanks for all the ideas, and please keep them coming!
This is a small thing but cutting through the ribbons on the three glass propagation bottles rather than saving it shows an overall attitude of not understanding the financial strains many of us experience. I do like Liz and follow her on FB also, but she (as well as other content creators) can sometimes forget budget issues.

The planter with legs may be difficult if one doesnt have the heavy duty tools that you do.

Not really crafty, but think I could pull off #10😊
So those round molds; You're supposed to put the wick in upside down and use a sewing needle to thread it through the bottom. That way you have a flat base to sit the candle on. Try it that way next time!! 😊

I loved the bottle one for flowers
11:04 so for the candles I think putting them in the long cylinders defeats the whole purpose of a round candle, what I would do is put the candles on a decorative plate and melting the bottom for it to stick to the plate, and maybe some food colouring would be nice for spring!
