  • James Ward, otherwise known as Jim Ward, is one of the foundational designers of dungeons and Dragons. He worked on products such as God's, demigods, and heroes as well as deities and demigods. He also was a well-known independent creator making gamma world. With his unfortunate passing I figured this would be a good video to go over his storied life and celebrate such an important designer.

I was going to say "RIP Drawmij" but then I thought that the character should live on even tho the player is gone.
Also, I've never heard of Starfaring before, so I'm glad you mentioned it.
Bye, Jim. We'll miss you, and you'll be remembered.

That library story sounds like the least wholesome fantasy fan interaction

I'm glad you liked it. It turned out to be one of my favorites to make as well. I knew nothing about Jim Ward going into it but he had such a good life I had to share.

Hi, I have a soft back copy of Ace of Aces from the early 80s. James is not listed as a developer. Was he involved with Nova Game Designs or somehow not credited.

He was the creator of it according to himself. There's an article where he says so on Enworld. I'll link it when I find it.
