It looks like fire on your feet alright. Love it!
How long did it take to get this shoe once you ordered it?
No info in the discription under the video for where to look for or order this shoe if one wanted to take a look oor order from this shoemarker.

Thanks. Unlike sponsored videos I’m not selling shoes. You can easily google Septieme Largeur. The patina service takes about 6 weeks and they send snail mail so it took about 2 months but I’ve had other shoes come from France the same method get here in 4 days so I would say that experience is exceptionally rare.

did you size down for them as advised by SL?

I vary between two sizes and took my smaller of the two. When I size down from that I often get blisters on the end of my toes … I’m no expert but that says too small to me. Lol.

What is your opinion about some brands like: Salvatore Ferragamo, Tod's, Doucal, Fratelli Rossetti, Santoni? You dont seem to have any of those brands. Are they more like fashion brands than shoemakers to you? Thanks.

I have Santoni loafers, the leather was cracked after 1 year.

you can find out about those brands on various shoe blogs and yes, while Santoni has some decent models they're more fashion oriented than traditional shoemakers

@@toobalkain i dont want to find out about those brands. I was asking for Wisconsin shoeguy's personal idea because he has tried a lot of brands but I never hear him.mentioning those brands. Thats it.

They are more fashion brands although some higher end models are made by shoemakers I already work with. I’m not sure if any have their own factory and like to learn these things before I start with a brand. The primary Italian Brands I work with all started making shoes for others. Ferragamo and Santoni are ones I’ve identified to try out when the time is right but I have more to learn first.

@@wishoeguy thanks for your reply. Actually, i was not seeking your idea about their quality. I only wanted to know where you would rank them. As a shoe expert you would probably be laughing at a guy wearing Gucci thinking that his shoes are at higher level than Antonio Meccariello. So I believe that you would never touch those fashion brands no matter how expensive they would be. As a newbie, i used to buy Hugo Boss, Ungaro, Tod's...and would go crazy if I could own a pair of Gucci or LV. But now Ive realized that was so silly me. 😅
