Hahah i'm kinda kidding. 268 km/h on the clock is ok for a stock CBR 600 RR but i would expect it to go a few kph faster, to 272 perhaps. Of course, the difference this low can be because of wind direction and rider position. I have a theory regarding hot weather and top speed in that a top speed doesn't depend on how hot it is. Mainly because even though the bike loses some power if its hot, air density decreases with heat and the less dense the air, the easier it is for the bike to go through it. So it loses on acceleration but not on top speed. I might be wrong of course. Is the bike stock? If so, you should add exhaust and power commander, perhaps also do custom mapping. It would make a really nice difference in power. Perhaps if you were tucked in with your helmet near the dashboard it would go faster? Did you have any trouble with the police because of speeding? Ok, i'm gonna check your other vids now.
Žilvinas Deveika I have another video with 275 km/h top speed.I am 1,82 meters height.Don't expect so much.I have a k&n filter and a slip on exhaust.Nothing else.It doesn't worth to tuning it.If you want more power you are buying a Cbr 1000rr ! ;)
In this respect, yeah it's better to buy a bigger bike instead of tuning - a lot more power for cheaper (than say a heavily modded 600). Unless you want to keep the 600 of course!
I love the 600 class bikes, they're fast, quick, stable and fun; nothing can touch them.
