Those city with two lakes nearby south of Nörvenich is Zülpich :) My flight instructor teached me that as it’s really helpful navigating that airspace when flying to and from Hangelar, Aachen or Dahlemer Binz
Nice job. Can I ask if the Airbus ground speed mini function still works with manual thrust? Presumably it would change the magenta speed bug if there was a gust, but not change the actual thrust?
“No speed” or “no speed restriction” on departure from EGLL removes 250kt below 10000ft restriction. Usually given to acft who have levelled off at 6000
Below 10000 feet, we do not want to fly faster than 250 kt, even if there is no ATC speed limit. We only would fly faster than 250 kts if ATC would instruct us to do so. One reason is the increased bird strike risk at lower altitudes. A higher speed would do more damage in case of a collision with a bird.

First of all many thanks for your financial support of the channel as a member! This helps a lot! I am happy with the A320 series airplanes. But I would love to do some flying with the A380 or the A350. The 380 and 350 flights are usually very long. And I do not like very long flights. Nice would be some kind of mixed fleet operation with A350 and A321.
Thanks for your good feedback and your question! The VLS check has nothing to do with the wind. It just compares the VLS shown on the PFD with the VLS on the MCDU. Depending on the software and hardware status of the airplane, they may differ because the MCDU VLS is based on our entered Zero Fuel Weight.

Great video and an amazing view on the approach. I know it is personal preference but when you do the take off you always seem to fly the aircraft manually up to 10000ft (or close) but when the F/O does the take off I have noticed that most of them put the autopilot on very quickly. Just an observation, if it was me, I would hand fly when ever possible.
Thanks for your financial support as a channel member and your great feedback! As you see in a lot of the videos, I love to fly the airplane manually. But it depends on the situation. Sometimes, I also switch on the autopilot very early. For example in very busy airspaces or when we have to circumnavigate weather. But, the pilot flying decides and everybody has slightly different ideas about it. Have a nice day!

Hallo Captain 😊 i saw a video where a real pilot talked about a new Airbus SOP regarding the engine start sequence in the 320 that the order now is 1/2 - not 2/1. Did you already heard anything about it?
I do not know about this. Engine 2 is usually startet first because it powers the yellow hydraulic system. And the yellow hydraulic system powers the parking brake accumulator. If you start both engines during the pushback, it would not really matter. Thanks a lot for your financial support of the channel as a member!

Good afternoun, I got a question about loadsheet handing I mean when the ground crew deliver you a loadsheet, when do you put ZFWCG in init fuel prediction page and what is the max chane of weight which do not require to recalculate loadsheet?

In which conditions that crew needs to apply rudder trim before take-off ?
We do not use the rudder trim before takeoff or during the flight. It would only be used in case of an engine failure. Thank you very much for your financial support of the channel as a member! Have a nice day!
@@ApproachandDepartureVideos I've always wondered that , thank you for letting me know also I hope you never have to use that. Fly safe Captain.
When a Flight to Hamburg? ☺️
Did Airbus change their engine start SOP? Does it affect your company’s SOP?
21:23 Bank angle??
VG
Back to normal plus some plus.
I like it this way.
Such a shame about the cloud cover. The Detling departure goes right over my house.
Anyone hear the American 767’s bank angle warning? 21:24 😂
As a native English speaker (Canadian), can I ask does it feel strange speaking in English to your fellow Germans? I suppose I couldn't understand unless I worked in Germany, speaking German, and was at a meeting with another native English speaker.
