Have flown into Faro many times from both runway headings 10/28 , great to see the approach from the front seats ! Wonderful airport and the Algarve is just beautiful.

Superb, complete approach/landing and parking. Normally they stop filming before the parking. It's always educational see the view from the cockpit and the importance of safety on the ground. Tks for refering FM car. Next time you are invited for a Pastel de Nata.
The difference between TAT and SAT always amazes me, your FO mentioned the TAT was +50C when I would guess the SAT is around 25C? I wonder, if you could explain what causes this huge difference to viewers?
Thanks for this folks, watching the video as we speak. I've holidayed lots of time in Portugal...love the Algarve area...the beaches...the sardines...the people. Has the MCDU (in general) changed much over the last 20 years? Is it intuitive to use today? Anything needed to be improved?
Thanks for watching and for sharing your feedback! The basis of the MCDU software is still the same. Some additional functions and updates had been introduced over the time. For example: 20 years ago, we had to enter the routing manually. Also the wind. Now, most of the time, it is coming via datalink from the company. Including the winds along the routing at different altitudes.
Sure, you can enter the block fuel also before the refuelling is completed. Without entering the block fuel, you cannot get a calculation of the trip from the FMGS.

Nebenbei interessiert mich, ob sich die Triebwerke auf den unterschiedlichen Seiten auch in entgegengesetzte Richtungen drehen, um dem Gieren entgegenzuwirken? Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert, wie Ihr Piloten diese Checklisten runterrattert. Auf jeden fall natürlich wie immer viele Grüße aus dem schönen Aschaffenburg und happy landings :)
Fascinating as always! This has been a highlight of my Saturday mornings for quite a while now. Also, I love those slightly longer videos. An idea for the future. Maybe you can do a full turnaround video. So start with the approach, inculde all the ground ops and then the departure all in one video. Keep up the great work :)
Another great flight with some spectacular scenery. Interesting point to make is that the person I introduced to your channel a week or two ago just returned from Faro on Wednesday. Having flown there and back with a side view, she is now sitting at home watching the cockpit view. 😂Nice coincidence for her, eh? 🙂

Spectacular approach, with a wonderful view of the sea. manual landing perfectly succeeded. I thought it was "almost easy" to fly an A320, until I tried it on a real simulator... Congratulations for the video and for the great work.
