Best Demo I’ve found on TH-cam of any Multi Fx unit. Most videos go direct from a Fender clean to a Marshall JTM tube screamer sound. This video shows the range of the FX unit

How do you download these patches
The GT-1 ! There are many excellent patches available to choose from...This fellow's patches are essential. Strat or Les Paul,direct recording or in front of a tube amp,hella good tones. Thanks,Hombre-

Got a GT-1 and today I bought a Gretsch G5421, conclusion it is not the gear but skill LOL.
Though I am having fun.
there's skill in the fingers,
and skill in the patches.
i'm finding my better patches draw out better finger work.

Try using two delays for the first song Apache. One set at 130 with fb at 30% and the other delay at 470 with the fb at 0%

Hi! Great video and very informative. Awesome programmed patches! I've got both the GT1 and two MkI katanas, and I'm about to use them in my homestudio. Regarding these programmed patches in the video, did you use the headphones output setting or another one? Also, did you use the L/R outputs or the headphone output (or even the USB output)? Finally, it would be good to know if you have more patches that you've made (I found a few for sale on your channel). Cheers!
Hi Gabriel. Firstly, thanks for the kind words. Yes I used the LINE/PHONES setting in the OUTPUT SELECT ( this option turns on the speaker simulator for the amp simulators), I then used the Main Outputs to the audio interface for recording as it doesn't matter which output you use. The patches I create are on my website guitarfxpatches.com I have some more to put on there soon!

@@accentontheoff Hey mate, I think it was a Roland UA1610 Studio Capture from memory, although you could use the USB output from the GT-1 directly for the same result.

How much of this tone comes from that fancy guitar with all the special switches and knobs?
Chris X hi Chris, that's a Fender Roland G5 with pickup modeling on it. But in answer to your question, not much. I'm not using the modeling at all just the standard Mexican strat single coils that come standard on the guitar. There is a blue light on the front that comes on when you are using the modeling.

Hi, I just played it in Eb but you could use the pitch shift to do - 1 if you want.
Wish U could break down the Boston sound on a tutorial.

All very well but you don't tell us what the names of the patches are we can't see from the video
You have to actually buy them it’s not free
This pedal should automatically come with these patches already built in but no you have to do all this bs and you have to buy it my dad spent 400 dollars on this for me and I can’t believe I have to buy the patches unbelievable

That's ok. If you watch the other individual videos on my channel on Tone Design I show you how to program several of these patches along with their settings. Or, if you can can't be bothered copying me, you can pay (about as much you might pay for a nice cup of coffee) for the ones I've done for you.
