- The island of Lunga is the largest of the Treshnish Isles off the Scottish Coast. In this video, Will Stead looks at photographing seabirds such as Puffins and Razorbills.
Lunga, largest of the Treshnish Isles, has one of the most varied and accessible seabird colonies in the UK. It is home to thousands of guillemots, razorbills, puffins and gulls. Although remote, it draws photographers due to the ability to get 'up close and personal' with the birds.
Equipment used in this video:
- Camera: Nikon D850
- Lenses: Sigma 150-600 / Nikon 500mmm f4
- Tripod: Gitzo
- Video Camera: Sony A6000

Hello, I really like your photos of puffins on the island of Laugua. I would like to go there in July but I'm afraid of the Midges. What time of year were you there? THANKS
Puffins are the best!
