      Yes! We definitely love George’s music too. When we do him on this show it’s more of a review for me than a reaction. I have all of his albums except Symphonica-which I need to get, and we will be doing more of his music soon! Thank you so much for watching! Stay positive. Stay blessed. -ЯJK 🏴‍☠️

    For George it wasn't all about the money, you only have to look at the amount of studio albums he released, he didn't churn them out year after year just to make more money. George was a real musician who cared more about the quality of music he put out rather than the quantity 💜

    Cowboys and Angels is a masterpiece! One of those gems that never made it to the US but in the UK it scored I believe in the top three. George Michael was a one in a lifetime songwriter and arranger with a voice that was impeccable. What he possessed in that voice was phenomenal. The ability to convey pain and sorrow and joy and make the listener accompany him every inch of the way is extremely rare. There are beautiful voices out there but what he had was something else. He is pure soul. You have to watch the live performance. You can find it on TH-cam. It’s called concert for Hope. The joy and movement he has on stage while performing this is infectious.

    "how can you not like Seal, it's un-American" Ya'll know Seal is British? I'm sure you do!
    That beat was created by Adamski, seal provided the vocals.

    • @RewindReliveReview
      @RewindReliveReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      LOL. Actually I love Seal! Got all of his albums as well as some rarities I do however believe that George outshines him with this version of Killer. Seal did one similar adding Papa was a Rolling stone as well,but it wasn’t the same. Not to say Seal can’t do the song well because he can. I have some other versions he has done and he absolutely rocked it. Got a few Seal videos already on the channel as well, be sure and check those out. Not hating on Seal but prefer the Adamski 1990 version (UK No.1 4 weeks) to Seals re-recording.

    You can't compare Seal with Goerge! George had, next to Freddie, one of the best voices of all tme, and he wrote most of his songs himself. He had an incredible vocal range - like Freddie. And he could also hit the notes live cleanly and technically perfectly. Seal was not a brilliant singer and that's not meant in a derogatory way. George's later problems with drugs and alcohol were strongly related to his own insecurity. Add to that the grief of losing his first and only great love - Anselmo Felippa . George was always insecure as a young guy and teenager, probably never realising the effect he had on girls AND boys. He also couldn't quite cope with the great hype surrounding him at the end of the 80s.

    • @RewindReliveReview
      @RewindReliveReview  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, those are the exact reason n we said we like George. We do love Seal too, but the reason why we compared it was because the original song was by Seal. We just pointed out that even though George didn’t write it, he sung it much better. His vocal delivery was fantastic. Again, I love Seal, but for this song, I will take George’s version

      @@RewindReliveReview i feel the same way.😀🙏💅George also sang several Elton John Covers, including "tonight". This live version from his "Rock in Rio concert" in 1991 was outstanding. I'm a big Elton John fan, but this version by George took that song to a whole other level. Apart from Geroge's own songs, his vocers have usually eclipsed the original. But that's what would have happened if Freddie had tackled these covers. Both had absolutely exceptional voices.
