Still mesmerized by his voice, his talent and his looks. Such a beautiful person inside and out. That man gave a new definition to the word smooth and owned it
Fast Love is a quiet storm of a song. Went to number one in many countries. George was a master of writing in all genre's of music. Keep reacting to his music and discovering what this man really did. You will find some wicked dance numbers, some r& b, jazzy stuff along with pop. Not to mention towards the end of his life he got very comfortable singing beautiful standards. His voice was suited for at all. My favorite of all time.
Hi ! George used to live at the end of our street when we were first married. Such a lovely guy. This is a great track. Makes me feel happy in the sunshine today in UK After his sad passing it was revealed that he gave a huge amount of money to charities and needy individuals. He funded IVF for a few couples anonymously so they could have a family. All done in secret, which is how real Charity should be done imo. Thanks for playing this, brings back nice memories of easygoing times 😊
It's a song about someone who has been hurt badly in love, and now he just wants something fast and easy. This album was made after George Michael's boyfriend died, and he went into a tailspin. Most of the songs on the album called Older seem to be about this heartbreak.
It must have been so hard for George to have been so talented but to have been so insecure, he was gifted beyond belief, the sample on this is Patrice Rushden 'Forget Me Nots', my fave is Cowboys And Angels, the musical arrangements on that track blow me away every time I hear it, RIP Genius
This album is AMAZING!!! Very smooth jazzy. ❤ My FAVORITE song of all of his songs of his is on this album. The song is called "THE STRANGEST THING". Trust me, it's a MUST to have on your playlist!! ❤❤❤

@@Julieroo28 That’s great but nothing like seeing him performing in his and my home town, I was born in the same year as George and saw him in Brixton south London in 1981 when Wham were just starting out
Love GM and glad you both appreciating his music he has a whole rabbit hole to dive into, told a story with every song try “Outside” and Listen without prejudice , RIP George ..❤
George was so smooth. Was there any genre that he couldn't tackle? He could be jazzy like Kissing A Fool or Spinning the Wheel, he could do R&B like I Knew You Were Waiting For Me or One More Try. He could do a little rockabilly like Faith, he full on rock like his performance of Somebody to Love at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert. He was young and fun in his Wham days with Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Club Tropicana and I'm Your Man, then he was mature and had suffered such a painful loss as he told us in Jesus To A Child and You Have Been Loved. If you thought you were going to bring him down with the "bathroom incident", George was like "ok, ok, let's go Outside. If anyone thought that this little run in with the po-po was going to have an impact on his female fanbase, think again. It didn't make one jot a bit of difference to us, we loved his fine self just as much if not more after that. Though it all, George was so SMOOTH. I have heard him sing songs by the greats like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Queen, Elton John, etc., etc., and everytime he definitely did the song justice. If you can listen to George's version of Stevie's They Won't Go When I Go and not break down in tears then you are a stronger person than me. I will say I have yet to hear anyone sing a George Michael song and do it justice. He was a one of a kind singer, songwriter, producer, arranger and a true humanitarian. He gave so much to so many with no fanfare whatsoever. He wasn't someone who gave to charity to boost his celebrity status. He gave anonymously because it wasn't about him, it was about the people he was trying to help. I hope George is at peace and with his loved ones he missed so dearly. RIP George.
Truer words were never spoken ! ❤ They Won't Go When I Go is a favorite, of mine !!! ❣ I bawl like a baby every time !!! 😭😭😭 Of course, a lot of George's songs have that effect on me ! 😭❤ Love him very much ! ❤ Miss him ! 💔

My suggestion would be BROTHER CAN YOU SPARE A DIME-On Poverotti & Friends. WHAT A PERFORMANCE!!!!! This was a benefit/charity show in Italy. George liked to do these benefits for people in need. George was & still is a very special human being. We now have to live with his memories & how he's touched our lives with his music & being such an exceptional, truly good human being! ALWAYS REMEMBER GEORGE & KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING! LOL, Till next time BK 🕯😇🌹🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

Are you watching the video its brilliant just like he is George was a genius he wrote and produced everything, you have to know his life to understand his music he's a legend
Fastlove is a surprisingly deep song. It reads like a smooth ONS seduction, but George starts singing lines that show he's more conflicted about it all. It's actually quite an adult look at the differences between serious and casual dating.
A timeline: In 91 GM meets the love of his life, Anselmo. (Anselmo is in the audience, when he sings “Somebody to love” at Freddie Mercurys tribute). In 93 Anselmo dies of AIDS. In 94 he loses a very public and principal court battle with Sony. Which he has confessed send him inti a depressive state of mind. He makes (in my opinion) his best album in 96 with “Older”. “Fast love” is from that album. An album of grief, sorrow, contemplation, faith and acceptance. At this point, love is lost. Love is in past tense. So “Fast Love” makes a lot of sense in his frame of mind. In 97 his beloved mother dies of cancer. He is outed in a very public manner in 98. Never lost his sense of humour. Try listening to “Outside” from 98. Written, produced and performed very shortly after his very famous outing in a very famous, very public toilet in Beverly Hills…. GM. Class Act. All the Way.
Such a clever song with those GOAT samples! Mixed and matched, then added to, then he plays with them- turning the pace at the right times. Like Messi with a ball. George Michael really was one of a kind.
George Michael lived near me before he became famous and we always thought he would be successful but I don't think any of us realised just how big star he would become. RIP George.
Our Beloved George never hid the fact that he LOVED to cruise, which is what this song is all about & is also what got him entrapped in 1998 ! Worked out for him though, didn't it ? He got a great song & video out of it and He was a much Happier Man after Coming Out ! ❣Love Him so much !!! ❤💋❤
Great George Michael song, one of many, and a great reaction. There’s nothing like a 7 Series BMW! Lol Delve deeper into George’s music catalog and you’ll be amazed how great & versatile his voice & music is and he’s at the top of the list for greatest male vocalist & musician of all time because he not only sings great but he wrote, arranged, produced, & played many of the instruments on his songs and they’re aren’t many artists that compare to George’s voice, musicality, & overall talent. For fun, you should react to the song ‘Monkey’ from George’s Faith album but I recommend that you watch the video because George’s music videos are many of the best ever made.

I am and will forever be an educator on HIV/AIDS. It's something that has impacted my life deeply, and it physically pains me to read the comments here but only due to lack of education. I'm going to try and make this quick and painless,I just ask that YOU read it, retain it, and pass it on. Please. I know this seems like I'm splitting hairs, but in this world, you have to. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus)is the virus that causes AIDS (Acquired ImmunoDeficiency Syndrome) is the name given to those whose CD4+ count fall below 200 (healthy is anywhere between 500 to 1500), also present with opportunistic infections. It is a chronic immune system disease. "It" doesn't kill you. The many varied opportunistic infections (OI's), which can be caused by viruses, bacteria, fungus (oh my), and even parasites do the work, the lowered immune system does the rest. The reason I, personally, split hairs is because AIDS still has such a negative connotation associated with it, yet I know SO many who never even had the luxury of being diagnosed HIV+. You can have the virus for 8-10 years with ZERO symptoms so when you're diagnosed it's with AIDS from the jump. A LOT of those people are still alive today. Once you're given the AIDS diagnosis there's no putting the genie back in the bottle, it's yours for the rest of your life no matter how good your health may be. The medication (protease inhibitors) that changed the game wasn't approved until June 1995 and then a year later widely available. This is what kept a lot of people alive and HIV+. There is a lot of history to the name, going all the way back to its first, GRID (Gay Related Immune Deficiency) or better known as "The Gay Plague". There is still such an ugliness shown to people who have AIDS vs being HIV+. STILL. Sadly, even more so now, as all of our efforts to educate has been lost to those not looking. Stop the stigma, please.
