Joe cooley from peterswell co galway. There is a stone with his name and portrait carved in gort, where there is an annual festival in october in his name, and another stone with his portrait in crusheen co clare, where he used to play. I gather he was a casual building site labourer, and a great box (button accordion) player. Just some random fun facts. I personally like the fact that ireland honors folk musicians a bit more than politicians and generals👍😀
