If you're using 4.23 or above, when you play in editor, you won't hear the reverb, but it will be in the built version. To hear it during Play In Editor, you must press tilde key and type 'au.isUsingAudioMixer' select that and it should work. 👍
Its a shame it basically only simulates a room reverb, like if you were in a cave or long tunnel.. Would be good if it could sound like it does outside like in a forest.. more of an echo
It seems like totally broken in last versions of UE. I've try it in 4.24 and 4.25 - nope, no reverb present. But in 4.20 the same steps lead me to success - all works pretty fine.
Anyway to add acoustics to the sounds? Like making it physical so it works like sound irl and bounces around against objects.

i was putting reverb in DAW before implicating it inside the engine, i had no idea that, the sounds should be raw before putting it
to travel at the speed of light? looool but good tutorial never realised how reverb is massively affecting my rooms atm.
Thanks for the info!
just my character animation sounds are affected by the reverb volume. but any sound cue that I put inside the reverb audio volume are affected by :(
when i do this the reverb is SUPER quiet even tho I max out all the things i can find related to the reverb volume, anyone else get that problem?
what is this? r u working on this game sound FX?
What project are you working on? I know it might be confidential but just tell us youre going to be in the credits somewhere :D
Does this affect all Audio inside the "Audio Volume"? I would like it to only affect the guns and not the music or ambient sounds.
I can't give you a 100% but I'm pretty sure it's impacting all of my sounds that are played within the volume.
