at 13:16 for break hit I cant get it to show up in my menu, and where I have to drag from same as u mine is a square yours is a circle please help I'm using 4.10

Hello Titanic Games, Since 2 month i work on a project, and today it is so big that I have got not so muc hFPS if I play it. Is there a way to save performance, while I wnt on Cinematic settings ? For example with blueprints or LOD ?
And other huge problem, is that sound is follow by camera, so if you want to make something detail for sound it doesn't work so good, because sound goes on only when camera is on that surface and not player. And because it's third person character it will always be behind player 3-4 steps :/
is it just me or are these surface types buggy and dependant on the day im working (some days my project will read the physics material and same days the editor wont...) of course restarting the editor fixes it but it just seems so buggy
Yeah I'm interested in trying out some other genres like survival games for example, and I think there are better ways I could do the RPG series so I'd like to redo parts of it in the future when I've got more time to devote to it.
This should be far easier.. i mean, it is something really basic for gaming. But its hilarious how much stuff you need to do to actually make it work. (of course its not your fault, im just saying that unreal engine in some aspects is 100 years behind). Also, isnt a way to do it without modifying the animations??????? i find that completely ridiculous.

Also you can use gate... when enter use sequence to close gate then play sound after sound use 0.2 delay to open gate its more precise
i can't find it on 4.20.3 "Notify Trigger Mode > Change it to Highest weighted" where any can share there screen shot with this?
14:13 In 4.24 "Surface Type" in Break Hit Result usally return "Default" Value, when used on Landscape material.

Yeah I just fix that, you need to creat two notify tracks on your animations :)

When you break the Hit Result structure after the Line Trace -- you get location vector. You can use that to spawn particles at that location.

No it won't, the line traces came from the foot bone, "camera" was only the collision type, it's the most used for line traces.

Yes just change the "Draw Debug Type" to "none" you see the red trace, because you have debug options enabled.
