      @@wfnofficial the usual German Humor is hard to explain in english because it often based on the second meaning of the punchline
      Example
      What does the blond girl when the PC burns she press delete
      Doesn't make any sense? That is because delete means: " löschen " in Germany and "löschen" also means :"put fire out with water"
      But I can translate a vew
      A blond woman goes to the doctor and says :" oh doctor I am such pain when I press here * the one who tells the joke touch his knee and screams* it hurts. But when I touch here *the one who tells the joke touch his head* it hurts to" then the doctor disruped the blond haired women and says* " the case is clear you have a Brocken point finger.
      It's hard to translate any other

      It seems that a lot of german jokes involve playing with words:)
      Haha great one
      Ive heard a similar one, where the doctor simply answers: well if it hurts when you touch your knee, then touch somewhere else

      Usually, describing everyday situations in a dissecting way you wouldn't normally do, using the endless repertoire of the german language does the trick.

    as a german they misrepresent us badly we are not boring or just funny if we drunk. Classic typical german humour is alot playing with words but they just works in german language, because its funny in this moment when it makes click and you understood the joke. I think british and german humour is pretty similar if you want to understand what kind of jokes we use alot :)

    • @daylemaster
      @daylemaster ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Of course they are funny..
      Just in comparison to other nations it might be slightly less, combine that with german seriousness and you got the stereotype
      Lets try it.. Name a country you would say is less funny than Germany

    • @daylemaster

      @squattingheads
      Poland? Nation infamous for heavy drinking cant be the most serious one (thus at least funny sometimes)
      Simolar could be said about most of the other eastern european and balcan countries
      Denmark, Norway.. - These are very nice and polite people smiling all the time, hard to imagine people thinking they are less "funny" than germans
      Countries of the middle east, despite many of them having a terrible living conditions, if you go out in the streets, most of them are in great mood and smiling from ear to ear.
      And i could go on and on..
      Fairly enough, there might be some countries less funny but still if you go around the world and ask who are the most serious and least funny people, many of the answers would probably be Germans despite there being over 200+ nations:)
