But the german ones are much more defensive about it that for example italians or brits. So I believe this was in some context of right winger event, and he instantly wanted to shut down any talk to the "Lügenpresse". That crowd very commonly refuses to talk to non-aligned media using such wording. I´v literally seen hundreds of journos trying to talk to such crowds at such events, and that reaction is really, really archetypical. Probably did not help that she included the possibility of him being gay. But the memetic setup smells of something more.

The insult "Wichser" (wanker) alone can be used without a personal pronoun, as was initially done here. This left it unclear whether an informal address was the case at all. Why the police officer reacts anyway is the fact that "Wichser" in itself is a significantly more serious insult than an additional informal address would be. The fact that the owner of the flat first apologizes, then repeats the insult with an emphatically formal address, as if its absence had been the main problem, is the real twist.

The only things I really know that are what German people actually _would_ say is "Hallo", "Ja/Nein", "Entschuldigung", "Gesundheit", and "Auf Wiedersehen". But since I'm a big nerd of tanks and WW2 history I also know a lot of names of German vehicles like all the different Panzerkampfwagen tanks, the planes, and a lot of other German military historical stuff from that era. I only recently got a book on actually learning German (it's DK Hugo's "German in 3 Months"), but I haven't really been studying all that much because I'm also studying Japanese, which I am much better at than German, considering I've been studying JP (as a side hobby) for about 5-6 years, so I can't really focus on learning both at once. I really love hearing German though, and would love to have a German friend on Discord or something to chat about the language every now and then!

As a Hungarian randomly hearing my language in the middle of a German/English video was surprising xd (btw This took place during covid and she was talking about the vaccination centers, and that some guy wanted to have one unified center in the country but the different regions all made ones themself so now booking an appointment is weird or something)
tbh German memes are even for Germans sometimes really confusing and random but some memes here have German context or insider. I get it why you don't understand the humor. some memes were with dialect which makes the video even funnier or the way they talked. Some memes can really only understand if you're German

But one thing I've been doing that's actually helped me is by stating mentally, "I reject these allegations" because 1.) I do reject the allegations my mind is accusing me of, and 2.) It's funny, and humor helps in despairing circumstances. It goes deeper than that, here in Germany performance station wagons are really popular (basically M, AMG, GTI, and RS variants of regular station wagons) and some come with V8s and V12s from the factory 😎 I think the one in the video was an RS5 station wagon though, it came with a turbocharged I5 that‘s extremely tune-able. In general any one of these cast iron VW blocks are capable of way more than they‘re built for, there‘s basically a 2JZ in every Golf.
But they are such a nightmare to maintain i had an s8 with v10 it was fast but always had its problems, and some day there only were like 4 cylinders left lol. This S series from the early 2000 really was terrible, the S4 seems to be exception tho

The only things I really know that are what German people actually _would_ say is "Hallo", "Ja/Nein", "Entschuldigung", "Gesundheit", and "Auf Wiedersehen". But since I'm a big nerd of tanks and WW2 history I also know a lot of names of German vehicles like all the different Panzerkampfwagen tanks, the planes, and a lot of other German military historical stuff from that era. I only recently got a book on actually learning German (it's DK Hugo's "German in 3 Months"), but I haven't really been studying all that much because I'm also studying Japanese, which I am much better at than German, considering I've been studying JP (as a side hobby) for about 5-6 years, so I can't really focus on learning both at once. I really love hearing German though, and would love to have a German friend on Discord or something to chat about the language every now and then!
I'm also seriously interested how that helped you :D

tbh German memes are even for Germans sometimes really confusing and random but some memes here have German context or insider. I get it why you don't understand the humor. some memes were with dialect which makes the video even funnier or the way they talked. Some memes can really only understand if you're German

Weirdly enough, this meme has genuinely helped my mental health. I suffer from terrible intrusive thoughts, which show me horrible things and basically tell me I'm a monster. But one thing I've been doing that's actually helped me is by stating mentally, "I reject these allegations" because
1.) I do reject the allegations my mind is accusing me of, and
2.) It's funny, and humor helps in despairing circumstances.
So, I sincerely thank you, middle-aged German gentleman, for your rejection of the journalistic trick accusing you of having loved ones at home. You have helped someone living thousands of miles away from Germany in times of need. ❤

Never underestimate a station wagon. I'm currently working on turning my family's old 2005 VW Passat into a sleeper specifically to outpace all the American muscle cars over here. Even without tuning some of these "family wagons" can be incredibly powerful in the right hands. Godspeed to that Audi driver XD
It goes deeper than that, here in Germany performance station wagons are really popular (basically M, AMG, GTI, and RS variants of regular station wagons) and some come with V8s and V12s from the factory 😎
I think the one in the video was an RS5 station wagon though, it came with a turbocharged I5 that‘s extremely tune-able. In general any one of these cast iron VW blocks are capable of way more than they‘re built for, there‘s basically a 2JZ in every Golf.

But they are such a nightmare to maintain i had an s8 with v10 it was fast but always had its problems, and some day there only were like 4 cylinders left lol. This S series from the early 2000 really was terrible, the S4 seems to be exception tho
