    She’s one of the few people that have showed what they eat in a day, that actually eat a healthy balanced diet. So kudos to her. You’ll be surprised by how much misinformation is available on TH-cam and google.

    The part about the oil in the pan is a sign of fear of fats - it was such a small amount but then wiping it off to reduce it was pretty unnecessary. If you're bulking 2 more grams of fat will never do you harm, even if you're cutting they won't.

      cosmicnights you might be eating quick oats instead of whole grain oats? Quick oats are most fast acting oats that will digest quicker where as Quaker whole grain oats are more filling as they contain lots of fibre :)

      Maybe try adding some fats to your oats if you don’t already? Such as the peanut butter and I always add two teaspoons for chia seeds to mine (after it’s cooked). Might not work for you but works wonders for keeping me full until lunch :)

      You're eating the instant ones.rolled whole grains keeps you full for a good amount of time.

    I got my diet plan from Agoge Diet and lost 2kg in just 10 days. So far, so good. Can't wait to see numbers on scale after 20 more days. I am so excited about this.

    how many grams of protein do u eat a day. i struggle as a vegan to get enough protein without using so much protein powder. i eat 125g day. i cant eat tofu either cause its makes me retain water

      Be mindful of ur soy intake it affects iron and too much can lead to anemia. Especially if you’re like me and have a hard time as it is during shark week

    I’m studying nutrition and we just talked about this in yesterday’s lecture. Your approach with the oil is totally right, oils and other pure fats (margarine, butter) should be the first things we limit not to gain fat. If we eat more calories from protein or carbs it won’t make you gain fat as fast as if you overeat on fat, so while bulking overeating on fat wouldn’t be a wise thing to do if you want to gain as little fat as possible. When we are not bulking we don’t have to worry about macros as long as we get everything we need in the amounts we need it and stay within our recommended caloric intake.

      It doesnt matter what you eat, its about caloric surplus/deficit. If you will be in surplus without oil you will gain weight and if you in caloric deficit and you are using oil you still be losing weight. Only fact is that its easy for people who doesnt track macros and doesnt understand to nutrition to create this surplus when they are using lot of oil and they dont realize that they are in surplus. Thats the only issue with using oil but otherwise if you make caloric surplus from protein and it will be same caloric surplus as from oil you will gain weight. But with oil (and other fats) its actually easier to make a caloric surplus bcs it contains lot of calories.

    I'm such a newbie to all of this I can see the gains but keeping my nutrition on track is tough. I'm 5'8 145 pounds. Wanting to gain muscle but I can get nervous about eating to much im scared of putting on fat! Someone help me 😫

      I completely understand how you feel! I lost 25lbs over 8 months (140lbs to 115lb) I worked so hard to lose that weight and I don't want to gain it all back. I really want to have a toned arms, legs and stomach :)

    This is healthy so it’s great if it works for you but for me this is what I eat when I’m cutting minus the amount of oat, I do 45 g when cutting. When I first started getting into fitness I “copied” fitness influencers type of eating but then realised that everyone truly is different. After gym I typically eat 200g of rice and 100g of protein.

    What app do you use to track macros? And how do you track your oil use when cooking? I usually meal prep and drizzle olive oil over my veggies to roast and I’m never really sure how to log that so my tracking is accurate

      Drinking caffeine helps muscle soreness if you drink it the same day as you work out.

      Mother v Dragons You can't do fasted cardio and then hit weights. You won't have the energy levels to get an effective workout and can lose muscle growth.

    Unfortunately even looking at carbs makes me gain a TON of weight. I am keto atm and able to maintain my 130 lbs. ideal weight would be 120 lbs. so I am definitely over budget lol. But would absolutely love to gain muscle! Btw I only eat 1000 calories a day. I recently increased to 1350 calories - hoping I can still gain muscle. It's very hard for me to eat more calories especially since I don't eat carbs and I don't want to eat much :((( I get satiated so easily.

    Actually came looking for a lean bulk diet for my wife that has more of a cutting goal, ie: deficit
    I'm almost at the end of a successful spell of lean bulk where I gained a nice amount of muscle, but I'm mainly losing weight and in my case I'm at a slight deficit (0.5 kg per week). I'm at around 13% bf though,
    My wife whom I came here for is at around 25-30 (we didn't measure cos at this point it's pretty clear she needs to cut).
    I guess this video is kore Lean BULK than LEAN bulk lol
