- We walked through the NW Overland Expo in Redmond, OR. This was our first overland expo experience! We especially wanted to check out the Truck Campers. It’s exciting to see the new products and innovations for the industry.

I live full-time in the Supertramp and will be going internationally starting in January 24. Absolutely love it. As for the toilet it will be changed out to a wrappon or something very similar. The smell of a porta potty gets to you especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere and no place to dump. The storage is insane and now considering again on the Bowen flatbed. I backed out of it😢.

Great vid and great seeing you at the show! I think my previous comment got rejected by TH-cam because I linked another video. Oops! Anyhoo, every Hallmark is custom. The general layout is set in the model, but colors, and feature can all be chosen. For example, our in the video has an open cassette toilet because we wanted the storage behind it. That space can be configured with a porta potty, a cassette like ours, either behind a door, or even a full wet bath. You can get an induction cooktop, AC, microwave, really most anything. The top lifts with a drill, something they call a super automatic. It removes the expense and complexity of a motor, but will lift 650 lbs. All in all we've been very happy!

It’s nice to see so many new truck camper manufacturers. Have you ever seen or been inside an Alaska camper? I’ve always liked them but never have seen one up close. Thanks for sharing!!
Agreed! I have looked at the Alaska Camper. It's rather dated design and heavy. Cool concept but folding the exterior bed panels onto the bed seems messy if wet or dirty. Maybe we can find one to review... might be fun! Thanks for sharing 👍

@@chrisakans It's great to see their original ideas... truck camper industry was rather outdated. Cirrus does a great job with modern design as well but less off road oriented.
Astounded that there still isn’t a real alternative to the Northstar Liberty if you want a hard side, wet bath, north south bed in a short bed truck.
Northstar has proven that you can fit it all in that size and that there is a market. Why haven’t any of the manufacturers given us an alternative to the Liberty’s wood construction and dated interior?
Someone give me a true four season, composite wall Liberty.
Agreed. It would be great to have a composite version. However, we do love our camper and it is holding up so far!!! Time will tell but it's definitely getting well tested. Thanks for sharing!
@@TruckCamper I also had a 2021 Liberty and enjoyed about 100 nights in it before selling it because I was unhappy with the quality of the insulation. I had no issues with the layout I just wished it was better insulated. Now, I’m on the verge of buying another simply because there is no other alternative.
@@theseeker104 Insulation is a factor with all campers. We are looking to install a diesel or gas heater. That will ultimately resolve any issues with condensation and allow for warmth in the coldest conditions. We will do a video when we install it.
What camper are ya'll using now?
Same since 2020... Northstar Liberty. We have tons of videos on it and the modifications completed. Check em out. Still love it. :)
The Scout no longer has the option to get the propane fireplace style heater.

They say supply issues but can get one yourself and get someone to install it.
Wouldn't need it if you ordered it with the diesel heater but I just liked the ambiance of the propane fireplace.

Options are getting limited. FOUR wheel camper is still one of the less expensive. And North Star like we have.
