Wow this is the first time that I’ve heard someone actually arguing for full uk medical and legal equality like this, I’m a trans man and I’d gotten so used to compromising in conversations about my own rights that this was very refreshing and inspiring. They're men, athletes, models, brilliant in every conceivable way, as men. Is there a single man there, whose manhood you question? The folks arguing that tranwomen must be kept out of women's restrooms, forget this coin has two sides? Would you force the the black gentleman in the Jockeys to use a women's restroom because of his birth? Would you have any of these men in a women's restroom? See, this is the insanity of not simply taking each case on its own merits. Making knee jerk blanket laws has shocking repercussions if you're not paying attention to all the angles.
@@lawrenceacosta8644 You were asking about transmen... Abigail is a transwoman. Two different things. No Abby's not a dude. Let me help you out here; Everyone begins life female. At about week 7, if you have a Y chromosome, the single gene that makes a male, male gets activated and among other things starts a flood of testosterone. It is the presence of that male hormone that makes the embryo then fetus develop as male. In the first trimester, the embryo develops male reproductive organs. In the third trimester the brain become hardwired as male. If for any reason the testosterone should fail, in the first trimester, the sex organs remain partly or completely female. We call that condition intersexed. If the hormone fails in the third trimester the brain remains partly or completely female and we call that a transsexual. So a male to female transsexual who has gone through hormone replacement, and reconstructive surgery, is not a dude. Not metabolically, not physically, not socially, and not behaviorally.
@@56hendo57 That's fair. Although that doesn't mean we don't have to challenge their viewpoints, but we can do so without being aggressive. Although it is perfectly understandable why someone may take offense as such. Also, I think it is important to consider that it is Abigail herself that has stated this, so it is okay to do it in the context of attacks on her.

"especially those who can't come out....yet" The yet, with that little smile just made me cry girl! My time is coming soon. It is unbearable, but I have finally started to accept myself.
The hardest thing you can do is accept yourself, because you don't only need to fight to know your own feelings, but also because you need to fight for your right to do as you please, which is made nearly impossible by standards set by society, in which we've not ever had a voice or choice.
I have just fully come out, at 43. It is never too late, and don't berate yourself because you feel you must come out. Do it in your own time, with your own sense of priorities. Acceptance of self is the first step, once you can do that, well the rest does fall into place. It isn't easy or perfect, and I'm still searching for that elusive happiness most days. Yet I wouldn't change who I am becoming, day by day.
@OgMasterCuz so by your own definition, infertile women aren't women. Also, intersex people exist as well. Not sure where they would fit into it, because there's a multitude of different ways someone can be intersex but seriously mate, come on. It costs you $0 to not be transphobic or a bellend, yet here we are.
@OgMasterCuz gender and sex are classified as two different things and im giving you the benefit of the doubt in that you arent a bigot, you're just unaware
@OG Master Cuz 2 I can assure you, trans people are painfully aware of the difference between sex and gender, it's in the name. Hence as you said, definition of gender has changed, as words do. Not going to lie, I am having trouble putting into words to explain to you that what you are doing isn't helpful, but I'm gonna try my best. If someone wants to identify as a woman, just respect that, because that's the gender identity that makes them feel more like the best version of themselves. You going BUT WOMAN IS LINKED WITH BIOLOGICAL SEX YADA is not being helpful. Again, trans people are painfully aware of sex and gender, and what they feel they are doesn't line up with the body that they have. From my understanding, gender is more to do with social norms and whatnot; not personality. I understand wanting things to be clearly defined (I'm autistic) but not at the expense of someone's mental wellbeing. Being overly pedantic about the meaning of words ultimately doesn't help anyone, and makes you look like a bit of a bellend.
i hope this isn't weird to say, but i used to have that name (am trans myself) and... this is kind of lovely. i'm not one of those people who has an incredibly negative relationship with their old name, but it's still always felt a little weird to think of it still. but there's something about another trans person, and one whose work i greatly admire, using the name that gives me a great sense of joy: it is good to see someone else use it to embrace themselves, and love themselves. and i hope to be able to hear that name and think of your joy more than anything else. proud of you, happy for you, and as always looking forward to your future work.
NB girl here and this is so relatable. It's been a years-long journey for me concluded just two weeks ago having truly accepted it and decided next steps. This really is lovely, it's empowering! I think all audiences have something to gain from truly listening to what Abigail's said in 8 short minutes. ♥

As a French, I must admit this is EXACTLY how I picture British official broadcasts. I was waiting for "God save the Queen" in the end of the video, or someone saying "This was Abigail Thorn, exlusively for the BBC." This is now my standard of "public statement". Congratulations on beeing so proud, classy and progressist :)
I was cynical when you promised that the channel's next "season" would be something radically new - everyone says next month's output will be totally fresh and original and worth subscribing for, blah blah blah. Ignore me, I'll be off making a big omelette out of all this egg on my face.
After the horrible news of SOPHIE's death this morning, and the absolutely disgusting transphobic comments in the replies to that, I was feeling really down and hopeless about the future of trans people. Needless to say, this video was *quite* the pick-me-up! Thank you, we love you, let's make the world a better place!
I understand what you mean when you say "Recognizable trans people". Three years ago I was elected as one of the first trans women to be a municipal councillor in the Netherlands. I received a lot of press attention and due to that also a lot of negative comments. That is why I think it is so good that you say: "Be kind to people even if they are not kind to me". As a politician, I always say: “I fight for your freedom of speech so that you have the possibility to say you hate me.” Take care!

I'm new but this strikes me as missing her message. She seems proud to speak up about trans rights, and she should be. She doesn't come across as forced to me at all. I know you're saying "but I'm saying she shouldn't be forced to do it because she's trans and famous", but what this indicates is that you think she might feel like someone forced her to do this. This means you think part of this message is not genuine, as she speaks as an enthusiastic supporter of trans rights. I think her point was she wants to do it to help liberate herself and reverse the recent worrying trend of right-wingers suppressing trans rights in the UK. I've heard how apalling it is there for trans rights and she's reaching out to help others. @Mike Hawk is right, and it surprises me how many people here upvoted your comment and ignored Mike's after seeing this video. As a mostly closetted, almost 30 y-o trans woman who only started with this journey recently and is paralyzed with fear of being accepted, you are such a role model Abigail. Your statement and your public message, in the country you live in, is so strong and moving and brave. My only wish is that I can eventually become half the woman you are, congratulations on your journey.
Wishing you all the best, and as a cis woman let me say as long as you are honest with yourself you already are a whole woman, no matter what obstacles are in your way and no matter how other people see you!
So moving and brave that a rich white man, who has enough money to pay for his own surgery in the US, comes out 'as a woman' in the JKR country and you all clap along. You won't become a woman. That's the thing. You're a man on estrogen, hoping long hair and makeup will make you feel pretty.
When she said "my love goes out to all those within the sound of my voice, especially to those who cannot come out", it's like she hit me right in the feels tears came rolling down my face like they burst through a dam. You are a role model to all. I love you Abigail
After Sophie's death this morning, I felt so alone with the tragedy that had befallen our community, that it made me wonder if I had the strenght to continue pursuing the path that fitted me the most... But with you're coming out tonight, I feel as if there is no better place, nor time to be me, and to be me openly and uncomprisingly. The moon may have fallen to drench us in a deep darkness, but we'll keep standing, no matter what, to bask in the rising sun. Thank you, Abigail Thorn
This is privilege. In first world countries men experience the most oppression by far. Although the transgender community has far less privilege than women; they have far more privilege than all men. And being a man means experiencing oppression even the trans community can't fathom or relate to.
You did it Abigail, you made me cry ! As a closeted trans man I am in awe to all those who have managed to come out, especially on a public platform as large as yours. Congratulations and best wishes for your years to come !!
I must admit, that this is very surprising for me. I ironically thought of her as a good rolemodel for healthy masculinity. Well, it's probably not surprising that healthy masculinity means beeing comfortable not portraying a stereotypical male character and well as a trans woman, she obviously is.
She definitely inspired a lot of us in our reconciliation with masculinity, and imagine how amazing it is that many men who watched her videos on such topics when she still wasn't out and took her as a role model are now being proven that said role model (specifically, one that inspires you to be as healthy as possible as a man) can be anyone, not only another man. I'd say it makes the whole thing even better: men and masculine people being invited to think and reconsider their perception of masculinity by a trans woman, who would end up making them feel more comfortable in their skin. To anyone who considered Abi an example of healthy masculinity... That doesn't have to change at all. She still was there for us, talked to us about her experience and masculinity and femininity are constructs anyway. It's not like we suddenly can't take a woman as an example of healthy masculinity, because masculinity and femininity are relative anyway. If we're talking about a trans woman, too, we need to keep in mind that they especially find themselves in a situation in which they _need_ to deal with masculinity, with expectations, with "acting it out", so Abigail's message still persists and her experiences and struggles as an AMAB person are still something we can all take from to make ourselves stronger - she shared it with us, it's the least we can do.
I am honeslty jealous of her. There are some "Male" esk things I feel vaguely nostalgic about, I struggle to give up. Certain behaviours, I have kept, in part because I hope to do what she did. Lessons I would have given my younger self, when I was in the closet. I wanted to bridge those gaps, tell guys there are other ways. Yet, you guys have already nailed it on the head. She did give you as much of that as she could, for as long as she could play that masculine role. And I am sure, the best way to pay her back? TEACH YOUR FELLOW LADS WHAT SHE TAUGHT YOU ♡ Spread it around. Instead of being jealous, I hope to do my best to do the same. Show them there are alternatives. Show them we can create new things, that we can change. Be there for others how she was for you, be there for each other. And that shit can change the world, fellas. I may have changed myself, with my transiton journey. But just by being herself, Abby could change the world. It's the same kind of magic Hbomber guy talked about. It may seem silly, but. We need some of that right now. Go, and support others like she supported you. Support trans folks, and each other, as she looked out for you. Sorry if I am ranting. I am just super happy for her. And proud of you all ♡
I think healthy masculinity applies to everyone regardless of their gender identity or biological sex. As a mostly cis woman, I think I too have bought into toxic masculinity and internalized misogyny when I was younger.
I have to say that the "healthy" part of healthy masculinity doesn't have much to do with masculinity, and more to do with just being a decent and ethical person, who happens to be masculine in this case. We need things like compassion and understanding to be core values for people and society as a whole, and these are not gendered. Also, the portrayal of a role model can be just that, a portrayal. I knew "Oliver" was an act, I didn't realize how far that act went. I don't think, though, that the character that Abigail created is any less worth being a role model for being a fictional character. While we're on the topic of good role models, I feel the need to mention that I think Abigail is a good role model, too.
Wow. Thank you. I learned a lot (old boomer trying to keep up! ) . Just like in all your videos. 😘 will try to speak up more for you to have the same rights that I have taken for granted. Look forward to more philosophy too x
Thank you for being righteous and helping others! I admire your desire to keep learning. I think most people just give up the pursuit of knowledge when older.

As a cisgender white male, you're still a role model to me. I wish masculinity could mean having the bravery, integrity, and courage you have displayed over these years. Thank you Abigail, for being yourself. Edit: Don't mind the CS:GO montage uploader in the replies talking about misandry and toxic femininity, I think they've had a hard day.
This is what internalized misandry looks like, and what an inferiority complex looks like. This is the damage toxic femininity is doing to men and women. Anyone who mentions being cis gendered in reference to themselves, or someone else is a misandrist. You're aware that cis gender males face the most oppression in first world countries right? Rhetorical question, I know for a fact you don't know that.
From my position of privilege, I had honestly never even considered the fact that cis people can get HRT with so many fewer barriers than trans/NB people. It always seemed so simple to me, "well they've got to be sure", "we don't want to medicate on a whim", but this made me realise I should really question that attitude if I still support cis people getting HRT so easily.
and that also goes for gender affirming surgeries. Like here in Italy I (a trans man) have to ask permission to a judge (after a lengthy and heavily medicalised process) to have top surgery while a cis woman can have breast reconstruction surgery covered by the state (as she should) without any of that. Both of those surgeries are gender affirming but one requires you be stripped of all of your agency to get it. And don't get me started on the fact that it's easier to undergo elective plastic surgery than to get gender affirming care.
@@subs4794 I agree there should be an in depth explanation of all of that, but what about a tribunal of law is helping achieve that? Why should I have to wait at least an year just to "make sure I'm sure" when I'm an adult fully capable of facing the consequences of my actions, but a cis person can schedule an elective surgery for next month? Can you se the obvious double standard? Also gender affirming care for cis and trans people is not the same as cosmetoc surgery: a cis woman getting breast reconstruction after a mastectomy for cancer is not the same as someone getting a breat augmentation for aesthetic puroposes and they shouldn't be treated the same. Informed consent practices apply to both but that's about all the similarities between the two.
As an Intersex person who has struggled to find their place in the world for over 32 years I cannot tell you how proud and grateful I am for courageous people like you, Abigail. Thank you

Oh wow the comment of feeling the pressure to be a 'perfect' trans person hit home. Being a trans highschooler while my country debates trans kids in schools felt very strange. Damn, that’s rough. I was trans in high school a decade ago, and honestly I think the environment has become even more hostile. Hoping you can stay strong.
@@kaitlyn__L I survived! I graduated highschool last year, it was definitely a journey. I was lucky though, the environment at my school was pretty safe. I was going to write a much longer comment, I think for the sake of not coming across as if I'm virtue signalling I will keep it short. Regardless of your family, there is a community that is loving, welcoming and occasionally toxic as fuck so we'll make a more than suitable substitute, at least until your family learn to accept you for who you are. That being said do not come out to your family if it is going to put you in danger. If you are a teen or still live at home, do not risk being kicked out onto the street and do not risk coming out if your family are violently inclined against LGBTQ+ people. Its difficult to do this when your own identity is not the one you are known by but, your health and safety should be your priority. You will have time in your life to come out and have people recognise you for the person you are, do this when it is right for you.
Someone else has already brought up safety so I'll say something I wish I had been told. It might not go the way you think - for good or ill or just sort of neutral. It might take time for them to get it. As of now I am in the middle of the conversation myself (that is, my folks kinda get it but also kinda don't). You might need time away from them while they deal with it. There is a community there for you in the meantime and a world out there of people who will love you as you are. Best of luck!
Thank you so much for the supportive replies! I have no idea how my family would respond, being somewhat conservative (not Trump supporters). I think I'll try to build up a support system before trying to come out to my family. These comments have been so wonderful, I appreciate you all so much, thank you.

Here in the colonies of Ontario Canada your post takes me back to the early 2000s. When I last went through what Brit trans people are still experiencing today. To live as themselves today. My want to transition started in the mid 1980s. Your trans rights must be made a human rights issue. Stephanie
Jesus christ I thought you were pretty before, you're like a million times prettier when you're comfortable with yourself (and I don't think that's just because I'm a lesbian lmao). Also hells of impressed at your ability to seamlessly transfer between your "guy" voice in fairly recent videos and your real voice now. Like whether you were banking previous vids while doing voice therapy or you're able to switch with ease, both are impressive
"Even when other people make it hard, being trans is a gift" A (cis) gay man I met at an lgbt+ group once said that he felt like being gay was his super power. Saying that being trans is a gift gives me the same vibes and I absolutely love it. It feels so good to see positivity and love for the way that we are. I'm so glad I'm trans, I wouldn't have the same experience and I wouldn't be the same person if I was cis. Keep spreading love and being yourself Abigail ❤️
She has THE biggest Ms Honey energy. Beautiful, humble, self-assured and confident with her words, uplifting, wildly intelligent, forgiving. Can’t wait to see more of her going forward ❤️
'My love goes out to every trans person within the sound of my voice... especially those who can't come out - yet.' I'm non-binary and don't feel able to come out to my parents, who I still live with, because I don't think they'd take my identity seriously. Being constantly misgendered by my family and not knowing when I'll see an end to it has been weighing me down recently but Abigail's smile when she added 'yet' made me feel so hopeful.
Your family is just using your sex as a base to interact with you. Nothing wrong with that. Don't hold that against them. But please don't lose your time and energy with the gender theory. You know who you are above stereotypes, it's enough.
Hi! I'm sorry a terf replied to you being an asshole and invalidating your identity, but I'm in a similar situation and I wanted to tell you to keep holding on to that hope. I know the feeling of not knowing what will happen to you if you come out to your parents because you're still dependant on them, but I also know that things do get better, maybe we'll have to wait some time, but I know you have it in you to survive, you're already so strong for holding on. So I really hope things get better for you soon. I'm rooting for you.
@@oleander2658 aww this is so sweet of you! thank you. it’s such a good idea to reply to the trans person rather than the terf too - idk why my (and almost everyone else’s) impulse is always to do the opposite. honestly, i find comments like that person’s more amusing than upsetting because they just make so little sense, but they do still sting a bit so i appreciate you taking the time to reply. i hope your situation improves soon too and i’m rooting for you as well ❤️
I’m absolutely not invalidating your identity :. I’m just contextualizing. Your family is using another set of criteria to communicate with you. You use one (gender), they use another one (sex). That’s it. No evil here. It’s not because they are referring to your sex that they are denying your identity. And it’s not because I’m explaining that to you that I am denying your identity! I don’t see how warning about gender theory is being offensive. Gender theory reinforces stereotypes, stereotypes that make people transition in the first place. So yeah maybe, in the current society, at an individual level it’s freeing to say you’re neither a woman nor a man when you are a female. But at the group level (man and woman/male and female) it’s alienating and making the current system stronger. By supporting gender theory you are not fighting the system you are just playing along with it. Btw, if you think that what I’m saying is making nonsense like you suggesting in your comment, please feel free to ask me any question, I’m open to discussion :)

It is ridiculous how much raw joy I am experiencing from this. I'm an unrepentantly cis white hetero chap and I'm grinning from ear to ear; this video has genuinely pumped me full of feel good vibes. I'm so glad I've followed some of your work over the last few years; you've done an incredible job of bringing us along with you as you have discussed some really important stuff. You've illuminated subjects that a lot of people find really difficult to comprehend, and you've done it with charm and wit. That many of these subjects were personal has made it all the more remarkable. Fuck, YES Abigail. This is amazing.
Its so amazing how many people are coming out trans. Just imagine how many trans people there were in history who could never come out. It makes me so sad.
I worked on a project in 2019 that only had about 30-40 people who were on that specific assignment. It was at a company that has been very open about their acceptance of trans people, but alot of companies claim to be. There were several people i worked with that taught me so much about gender issues and how people feel than I even knew about. And i am a gay man who thought i understood all of it well. I learned that i still dont totally understand it all but I will gladly like to hear peoples story and i support them. I think the more accepted that it becomes the more we will learn that people have these feelings inside. Similar to how everyone seems to be gay these days where when I was in school there were only a few gay kids. (and oddly i was bullied by them lol)
"We don't cancel or silence flat-Earthers when we set aside their concerns about space travel and start listening to *cosmonauts."* I see what you did there.
@OgMasterCuz The definitions of words are malleable. Just because a word is defined one way in a specific dictionary doesn't mean that trans people are claiming to fit that definition. There is nothing "scientific" or "unscientific" about slightly altering the meaning of a word in everyday use. On top of that the fact that being trans isn't a choice is supported by science.
I just wanted to say that I as a cis woman am so grateful that u called yourself a feminist. It makes me so unhappy when people use that phrase in a negative way. I'm so happy to have recently found and subbed to your channel. Currently binging through your vids.❤
@@Axolautism it’s just a sensitive thing, because “being an inspiration” is often all trans women hear. It’s also a common complaint in disability communities. It’s well-intentioned, but ends up otherising and putting on a pedestal if not very careful. Now, in this video, and with the part about “those who cannot come out yet”, she’s definitely intending some level of inspiration in this video. But it would be dangerous to lean on calling her an inspiration as the standard compliment from now on.

Instead of engaging obvious trolls only here to get into fights for kicks in a useless debate, LET'S JUST REPETITIVELY THANK THEM FOR PINGING THE ALGORITHM.
Hi! Trans woman from Canada here. Some of the requirements here are similar to the ones you listed. Personally, I spent 2-3 years trying to find out where I was on the trans spectrum. Started off with closet cross dressing (which I had done over the decades to deal with my stress, frustration, anger. I came out at 50.), progressing to less masculine clothes and with I was satisfied with testing this as my solution I finally needed to go full out. I was on a wait list for 1.5 years before getting to even speak with someone in our gender program. 2 psychiatrists with gender dysphoria diagnosis and cleared me for surgery. HRT was a life saver for me. I actually like myself now. Still waiting for surgery. I understand both sides of too much/not enough gatekeeping on transitioning. The process seemed to me be more of a formality instead of an actual inquiry. Maybe it’s just my age or the story of my life. (I spent the better part of 40 years trying to fit in as a male, refusing to acknowledge my trans nature). So I know this is right for me. But if I could go back 30 years and do it then, I would in a heart beat, but then I would have missed the experience that that has made me certain. My workplace is supportive (siblings and parents are struggling with it, no family of my own) I don’t wish what I went thru on any young adult, but am also concerned about it being subconsciously “it’s trendy and will make me special”. This is just such a complex issue for everyone that there will never be a “one answer fits all”. For those who have found themselves: ❤I see you! For those still struggling: don’t give up, you will find your solution. For those who disagree or are opposed to trans people: we are still people, please treat us with the same dignity and respect you would give anyone else.
As a trans person myself, who’s struggling with figuring out how and when to come out, I can’t possibly convey how much this means to me - I’ve looked up to you as someone I want to be like for as long as I’ve known anything about you, and knowing that you’re like me in this too is so meaningful. I’m so unbelievably proud of you for coming out, and I wish you all the best in the world for the future. Fly on, cosmonaut, but know that you’re never alone, we’re all behind you whatever you do.
This was a brilliant highlighting of our systematic anti-trans culture. My uncle transitioned in the early nineties (when I was only months old), and he had to go through so much alone in a world that really wasn't welcoming (even from his own mother, who was of a generation who barely understood homosexuality). I love my uncle, and I've always been proud of him. Whatever I can do to support Trans rights, I will do it. You're astounding, and a gift to this world, Abigail x
I cannot even imagine how hard it is to transition in such a public position. I've heard Contra/Natalie talk about it before so I do understand it takes a lot of bravery and strength. I think it's super admirable. Congratulations, I hope for every mean comment you get ten better, supportive ones!!
Good for you, do what makes you happy. Thanks for mentioning the Suffragettes. Emily Wilding Davison goes down in history as a heroine who gave her life for her political activism. To thine oneself be true is a beautiful statement. And remember those poets mentioned who fought in the utter hell of WWI trench warfare, Siegfried Sassoon who wrote and lived and Wilfred Owen who wrote the famous Dulce et Decorum est, one of my favourite poems, who died at 25 a week before the Armistice. Perhaps be mindful that your cause is important but avoid comparing it to soldiers who fought and died in Gallipoli, the Somme, Ypres and all of the other well known areas fought for in WWI, it’s a vastly different struggle.
@Yeetus debeetus Talking from experience there? Because if not, how about you don't claim it's "very easy to do" when every single trans woman in the public eye who I've heard commenting on this says the opposite?

The point here, is that describing these men, in any terms other than their manhood, is patently ridiculous.

You were asking about transmen...
Abigail is a transwoman. Two different things. No Abby's not a dude. Let me help you out here;
Everyone begins life female.
And I always assumed she made those little hints and jokes for trans people because of Natalie and was just very educated about it...

The yet, with that little smile just made me cry girl! My time is coming soon. It is unbearable, but I have finally started to accept myself.
you do you, person who i don't know. the ones who deserve you will accept you.
The hardest thing you can do is accept yourself, because you don't only need to fight to know your own feelings, but also because you need to fight for your right to do as you please, which is made nearly impossible by standards set by society, in which we've not ever had a voice or choice.
I know it's late, but hopefully you'll have the courage to do it.
But if you alerady came out, then congratulations.
I have just fully come out, at 43. It is never too late, and don't berate yourself because you feel you must come out. Do it in your own time, with your own sense of priorities. trans wom-an
noun
a transgender *woman* ; a *woman* who was identified as male at birth
.... well this is embarrassing for you
@OgMasterCuz OMG, you did it! You beat them with lexicography! People will be singing your praises for millennia to come!

@@mikehawk9531 certainly. I'm just saying I hope she doesn't feel pressured into doing it just because she is relatively famous and trans
@@domesticcat1725 bruh

Abby Thorn OUR QUEEN
@@domesticcat1725 Let's make a Petition for her to change this 2nd channel to this
I must admit, that this is very surprising for me.
Have you watched Identity? She addresses this exact sentiment

Here, i've got some courage to share, you can have some of it
I was going to write a much longer comment, I think for the sake of not coming across as if I'm virtue signalling I will keep it short.

I'm a trans man who's planning to go on hrt soon, and seeing you come out in such happiness gives me so much strength to persevere

I am always a ghost viewer & due to living in “weird” countries for a time [Saudi, ehem) I don’t usually subscribe to channels.
That being said, I binged on your channel at the beginning of the lockdown. I see that a lot of your subscribers jumped ship & would like to help out with my vote :)
So Congratulations,Abigail, stay fearless and immensely entertaining as ever!! Love from South Africa
yes the country where men are men and women are women is weird but countries where people like "abigail" exist are normal .
This is amazing.
awwww you are so cute
love this comment, this is so wholesome
Its so amazing how many people are coming out trans. Just imagine how many trans people there were in history who could never come out. It makes me so sad.
Yep. :(
I worked on a project in 2019 that only had about 30-40 people who were on that specific assignment.

I see what you did there.
@Bronze Spectre see philosophy tube vid "Cosmonaut"
@OgMasterCuz Do you need a safe space?
@OgMasterCuz The definitions of words are malleable. Just because a word is defined one way in a specific dictionary doesn't mean that trans people are claiming to fit that definition. There is nothing "scientific" or "unscientific" about slightly altering the meaning of a word in everyday use. On top of that the fact that being trans isn't a choice is supported by science.
@OgMasterCuz so by that definition if a woman can't produce eggs, does she not count as female?
@OgMasterCuz Can you arrogantly suck at explaining the thing that you don't understand just one more time for my amusement, please?
I just wanted to say that I as a cis woman am so grateful that u called yourself a feminist. It makes me so unhappy when people use that phrase in a negative way. I'm so happy to have recently found and subbed to your channel. Currently binging through your vids.❤

"inspiration"
@@blacktigerpaw1 Some ppl legitimately change from having bigoted pasts. There's no need to be so cynical.
@@nerprun You seem to think there's a problem with the use of that word.

My workplace is supportive (siblings and parents are struggling with it, no family of my own)
I don’t wish what I went thru on any young adult, but am also concerned about it being subconsciously “it’s trendy and will make me special”.
Good luck in your journey, friend.
All the love in the world to you, dear. May your future be bright!
Sending you all the epic vibes to help you be out and safe and accepted, fellow trans sibling!
Sending love to you and your uncle!

@@baguettegott3409 Yeah fr. If it was so easy to do why did Abigail wait over a year to do it?
