yeah i think it’s supposed to refer to how omori shuts out the negative things, the house might have had negative memories attached to them. so omori tried to cover it up
Except Aubrey does hit with the bat. Sometimes it says "Aubrey attacks" and plays the same animation that attacking with the bat does in the dreamworld and does more damage than omoris knife (which reinforces the deadlier thing) if they wanted to demonstrate that she doesn't use it, why wouldn't they use the fist animation like they gave for omori without the knife?
Lol I know I'm like 2 months late, but this reminds me of the Black Space in the true route? Somewhere, in one of the rooms you see Mari w/her brain exposed or on her head. When you talk to her she tells Omori/Sunny to expand his mind, the more you interact w/her the bigger her brain til she's just a brain. Maybe it just showcases Sunny's limitation or just something Omocat and friends had forgotten.
I remember I found that entrance to Black Space through the vines completely by accident. Do you know if it's possible to return to Sweetheart's Castle through Black Space after taking ownership of the castle?
there should be. I've seen a vid about the black space entrances besides the laptop and one of them was sweetheart's castle. However I don't know whether or not you can just wait until it will let you in like with jumping into the docks on true route through the room with something saying "I love you" or you need to spam look
I want to explain the plothole as nice as posible (probably nobody will see this but) The first point is that you are in extended black space, a continuation of things Omori send there so Sunny couldn't learn the truth Secondly in the castle while you look at the vines you can see something, and something isn't a memory that Omori can erase, so that explains why you see the castle as the same And last, back with Omori, this isn't his first time going around in his dream world, because all the times Omori would get stuck and needed to reset so he could try, for 4 years, one of the instances that shows this is that there is a skeleton with a ribbon in the dungeon that if you interact with it says (this is from memory) aubrey. So it got stuck in extended black space because remember, Sunny had a crush on aubrey So yeah, Omocat thought of that a lot, meaning that is not a plothole

Ohh what a neat little detail! Makes me want to explore more in my Hikikomori run (Ive been spending too much time in orange oasis. Im addicted to dino dig)
Interesting find! My personal take is this this area beyond the vines exists simply as a median between headspace and blackspace. I’d compare it to the elevator in Jawsome’s office. If suddenly the entirety of the last resort crumbled down, the elevator would still exist if you were to enter it from black space, but you wouldn’t be able to leave the elevator back into headspace. It just turns into a dead end. After all, this side of the vines ISNT accessible in the main route or even in hikki until way later. So perhaps it’s apart of black space and not headspace.
Yes! I think it also makes it more interesting that the elevator in Mr. Jawsum's office takes you to Black Space 1, which (I'm not actually entirely sure) cannot be returned to, compared to Sweetheart's Castle which has a connection to Black Space 2, a place that you _can_ return to. I believe both entrances, even if they bring you to different parts of Black Space, are similar in the way that the area of Black Space they bring you to is a dead end. Stabbing yourself/being caught by a red hand only brings you back to where you last were in Headspace, opposed to the Black Space Nexus. If there is a way to explore outside of those isolated areas of Black Space 1 and 2 from Headspace then I would love to be informed!

Hmm, I see what you mean but the Keeper of the Castle explains how it created everything beyond that door (the entrance to Sweetheart's Castle) in Sprout Mole Village _specifically for_ Sweetheart because she desired it. Once Sweetheart dies, Omori is able to claim that whole area (assumedly including the entire Castle along with the courtyard) as his own desire, changing it to that room with the chair and frames on the wall.
I realised that if you look at those vines, something would appear, since blackspace was connected to the vines at sweetheart’s castle, that means something appeared through that door
i know this is a year old but i think that wether it's gone or not it would always connect to that, it changing doesn't necessarily mean it'd erase omori's memory of it
I would say that this is not a plothole because Black Space is a disjointed section of Sunny's mind, it doesn't need to have continuity with the rest of Headspace.
