    I’ve been doing yoga every day for the past 3 months in an attempt to work on my mental health. As a student yoga classes can be too expensive for me, so I follow certain yogis online. This was really insightful on how to get the poses right. Thank you!

      @@AlexiaKYoga I’m so happy to see your bump grow while doing yoga. The gift of life🤍 And yes I was referring to that one ashtanga for beginners. I have done a Vinyasa Krama TT before also various vipasanas retreats… for some reason one day I wake up interested in ashtanga… anyway if everything aligns would love to participate. Meanwhile I’ll be working with all your ashtanga videos 💎

    I actually feel more pain in my lower back doing upward facing dog the right way. Guess I need to build more core strength?

    • @AlexiaKYoga
      @AlexiaKYoga  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's interesting.. If you feel pain then I would recommend either doing cobra or any version that feels right for you. I wouldn't think core strength would affect pain in upward facing dog. Do you experience lower back pain in any other posture?

    • @lewismeechanthevloger2334
      @lewismeechanthevloger2334 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The version that she said was bad for your back is often used in apple fitness plus it’s called high cobra or at least that what they refer to it by. Go at your pace and use mods when necessary to help you in your flow.

      A strong upper back and strong arms do a lot of the work as well as the pulling in of the lower abdomen.
      If you’d like to train lower abdomen with yoga, then while moving into Downward dog (the other one, haha), really focus in moving up with the lower belly. You’ll feel it for sure.
