Just wondering why it seems that this Mary Kay ;business' is all about recruiting other women to become consultants? If one signs up to become a consultant, it would seem that they would be more focused on cornering the market with sales of Mary Kay products, instead of recruiting others.

You are the first person I've ever seen who actually has given some real numbers as to how much money you are making from the Mary Kay business. Anyone else who gets asked this question (even in an anonymous forum where nobody will know who they are) never seems to have an answer, which makes me extremely suspicious as to how great this business really is. Mary Kay does publish income statistics for their consultants in Canada and the statistics aren't very impressive (only about 2% of the consultants bringing in sales of $ 20,000 annually or more). Have no idea what the statistics are in the US but I'm guessing they couldn't be much better than Canada. Nevertheless, you claim to have made $ 30,000 in 18 months, why this is by no means a substantial income, if you were spending around the same amount of time you'd spend at a part-time job then I guess it was a good side gig. More than anything, I commend you for your honesty and actually mentioning the numbers, something no other Mary Kay consultant (that I've seen) seems to be able to do.

First: I just sing up for my my business as you did in this video my recruiter only talk to me about the initial cost of the starter kit ( I love her don't get me wrong) what I am encountering my self with now is I HAVE NO INVENTORY" And when I talk to people about it they get turn down because they can't get the product right there. Now. I am working on it I haven't give up because I know once I start producing I'll love it even.more. but.how do I do it with no inventory, I had a couple of orders from friends and family but it's really hard to get to my goal with no inventory and no money for my inventory. Sometime I think of I have had more info I would have saved to buy inventory too.I'm pulling my hairs. Tips tips tips please . Because customers already know that when you talk mary kay you talk about fun presentations and product availability. And the last one that's the one that excite them the most and in my case since I don't have the product to sell with me some of them just hesitate and don't want to wait for it.
guadalupe tejada You just have to order ASAP if you don’t have the inventory. Usually I can get the product in less than one week. Make sure you deduct shipping and handling from your profits. I have a ton in inventory but there’s always something I don’t have.
Don’t panic! Inventory is awesome and needed but we are in such a better position now with Customer Delivery Service. Use it and abuse it until you build your inventory. Every time you sell something order 2 if at all possible. When you can, save profit for the product bundles each season. The more faces you do the easier it will get to build your inventory.

Too funny God does miraculous things through Mary Kay Why? Because Mary Kay Ash was a God fearing woman. .. who prayed every morning for God to guide her business and He has blessed her faithfulness!
Only do what feels great to your spirit. Warm chatter isn't warm if you're frozen by fear. It works but you have to understand the science of it. Find the one thing that you can become obsessed about in your business then tell everyone you know. Ask who they know and tell them to help practice talking with strangers. They say if you love warm chatter it's the first signs of a crazy soul...(That's me... I know no strangers) lol. You are right... You are on a human scavenger hunt looking for two types of women. Women with skin who can learn to love MK and women who want a business opportunity. Adopt the believe your director has in your ability until it becomes your belief. Great luck to you.
@@tonyarobinson4626 ... yes I was introduced to Mary Kay skin care line in 2000 by a client I had and I love how the product has changed the way my skin looks I started sharing with family and became a Consultant the first time to save money, but then I stopped for a few years to get more involved with ministry work, but I was still using Mary Kay A few years later I really believe that God healed some strongholds in my life and inspired me to become a Consultant again and I believe God is getting ready to accelerate the faithful!😀
