Nope. It has way more downforce and the GT500s dual clutch is superior to the trans in the zr1 and allows it to keep up. Plus the GT500 makes its power way higher up than the zr1 that helps with speeds above 60 or 100

On the drag strip and the street these 2 cars is a drivers race. They got about the same hp but despite the zr1 having more torque and being lighter its single clutch and aero is what hurts it and allows the heavier GT500 to keep up. They both run similar times too
Honestly its a drivers race most times. The zr1 might get it initially off the line but thar GT500 makes its power higher up and can keep up with the Z
