Spandau Ballet are one of Britain’s great iconic bands having sold over 25 million records, scored numerous multi-platinum albums and amassed 23 hit singles across the globe since their humble beginnings as a group of friends with dreams of stardom in the late 1970s. It wasn’t long before they became fully-fledged members of the iconic Blitz Club scene and established themselves as one of the super-groups of the 80s.
The band's classic line-up features brothers Gary and Martin Kemp on guitars, vocalist Tony Hadley, saxophonist Steve Norman and drummer John Keeble.

Huge production by Trevor Horn.
I always remember hearing this blasting out of the speakers at the Warehouse, Leeds, when I was a 6th former aged 17. The strobes were on about for about 50 seconds!

This video was recently on BBC 2 Trevor Horn at the BBC,in the comment section
of the video Martin Kemp says that Horn saved Spandau Ballet with this song as their previous 2 singles flopped.

It sounds totally different on this single version because it was produced by Trevor Horn compared to the album version. Trevor Horn made it sound really magical. The album version sounds more like a demo by comparison.
